6.0 Good
Pros: The location was fine, we knew the area and chose the property specfifically. We realised it was off-season and the hotel might be quiet, but we followed other recommendations. Staff welcome and subsequent interaction was great, really nice folks. Oustanding part of the stay was the food, first class food at every meal and good value for money. Since it was off-season, meals were served in the bar and there was a nice atmosphere with the locals and visitors
Cons: We were allocated a very small back bedroom with a view over a roof and located above the bar. There was very limited storage space and the only hanging facility (if there has been any coathangers) meant that clothes would have hung over the small TV, The room was very tired and the loose electical and TV cables were just not right. Bathroom equally tired. The bare staircase to the rooms was a bit off-putting as were the lumpy pillows. Pretty clean though. All that said, there was a small decanter of sherry with nice glasses waiting for us As the hotel was empty we looked in other ooms and they certainly were much better than what we were allocated. Seems crazy that they did not use the best rooms avialable.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Residents property was terrible, dirty obvious no recent investment in it at all. No matching furniture, bed not comfortable old mattress. Shower smelly old cabinet. We complained at hotel and cancelled our stay.

Pros: Breakfast was good. Location is good for me/us - been there before!
Cons: Nothing - enjoyed the whole experience

Cons: Bedrooms need revamp. I think this is ongoing

Cons: No complaints

Cons: The weather could have been better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Letham House for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding in Haddington. Barbara and Chris made very welcoming hosts. Rooms spacious and beds very comfortable with luxurious en-suite facilities. Due to the location of Letham House in beautiful laid out grounds make this an ideal secluded and quiet place to stay for a pleasant stress free weekend. The lovely breakfasts around the large dining room table made it a very sociable atmosphere chatting to the other guests who were staying. Will definitely plan on staying here again.
Cons: Having to leave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was fantastic. Lovely room, great breakfast and great service. Communication was really good before our day of arrival, with a courtesy phone call also asking if we would like recommendations for dinner reservations. We even had a courtesy bus booked for us by the B&B for the local Waterside Bistro in Haddington who collected and delivered us back later on, which made a working trip much more enjoyable - so thank you!
Cons: Nothing at all, it was all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly hosts, comfortable bed, excellent food
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm, friendly, quiet and very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house and hosts were fantastic
Cons: Its perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The experience is like being invited into a stately home, with a roaring log fire and a fabulous breakfast. We had the house to ourselves and looked over the gardens and into the distance. The bathroom seemed as big as the bedroom with a wonderful bath to contemplate how life should be. Beautifully appointed guest suites. Charming hostess.
Cons: One or two free electric sockets would be useful for those that need them. Otherwise nothing to say.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This bed and breakfast is so lovely! The estate is gorgeous and so was our room. Everything was impeccably clean, and breakfast every morning was delicious. Barbara was such a welcoming and generous host. We stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for better. Close to Edinburgh and the town of haddington is very charming. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Food was excellent. Breakfast offered a lot if choice as did the evening meal menu. I had an enormous haddock. It was beautifully cooked. Dessert was terrific too. All the staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful and polite. The room I had was smallish but clean and comfortable with spotless linen.
Cons: Nothing of note.

Cons: Other things...were alright
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, great choice of hot and cold food.
Cons: The room was very very small with only a skylight window but clean, comfortable bed and good selection of toiletries, tea, coffee etc.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean, bright, pleasant decor and well- appointed. Lovely selection of toiletries. Facilities all provided for tea/ coffee- making, hairdryer etc. Good shower and bathroom ok.
Cons: The room was very small and had no window, just a skylight. Maybe ok in the summer but not in December.. too cold to open it so room felt stuffy and cramped. The bed was large with fresh white linen but with a rather hard and rigid mattress. Breakfast was not available as it was Christmas Day so £10 was deducted as we felt it was unfair to have to pay the full price of £90.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely place to stay, the food, staff, bedroom and cleanliness was exceptional. I will be back the next time i visit Haddington.
Cons: all excellent
