Pros: There was nothing that I liked about this place.
Cons: The towels had stains on them. The showers was dirty and filled with spider webs. The beds had a strong odor of smoke. The comforters had cigarette burns. TV reception and picture was very poor quality. No complementary toiletries. No iron or ironing board. Light switches were broken. Staff was unfriendly and snobbish.

Pros: The front desk staff, both night & morning, were professional & polite. No problems there.
Cons: The door wasn't secure when I arrived, and I had some trouble getting back in when I had to step out for a bit. The worst part of the experience was the prostitutes that knocked on my door, while I was trying to get some rest, asking me if I "wanted to party". Apparently, the guy next door did, because the headboard of his bed kept slamming into the wall all night!

Cons: Drug deals going on said it was close to Disneyland it's super far they said check in at 3 my room wasn't ready till 5:30pm so we were exhausted with our children outside asleep in the car cause his staff was on lunch he said
Mediocre3.4
Pros: The location
Cons: I swear to God I killed 2 cockroaches once I opened the door after checking-in and another once I closed the bathroom door. I liked a lot when I read behind the bathroom door that “Customer Safety Is Not Our Responsibly” !!

Pros: Motel 6 was a good bang for buck stay. I would not expect a $250.00 a night experience for what I paid to stay at Motel 6 but I believe it met all expectations for the money. If you are going to pay $70.00 a night don't complain when you don't receive the same experience as you do at a $200.00 a night Hotel.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: I have stayed at some questionable Hotels and Motels but this place was the worst. Upon my arrival, I was immeadiately told there were no rooms available. When I showed the worker at the desk my confirmation number, he told me he only had a handicap accessible room. I told him it was fine and he walked off. A few minutes later he returned telling me that the room was taken and he had no other vacant rooms. I told him I just needed a shower and a bed and he set me up in a room with a broken phone. I entered the room and found stained carpets, small holes in the walls, and a broken faucet that sprayed me when I tried to wash my hands. At checkout time, I waited 15 minutes while the new employee at the desk told another person staying at the hotel that it was not his problem that someone broke into their room and that it was not his responsibility to call the police.
Good7.1
Pros: The staff and the room were both good.
Cons: The people staying in the room across from us were yelling and each other and slamming doors. Then at 3:30 am some random guy was knocking on our door. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep much. I wish we would’ve asked the front desk for a different room, but I didn’t think about that at the time.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Location near the freeway
Cons: This has got to be one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I am not a picky person and don't expect much from any hotel, hence I normally give any hotel a chance, as long as the reviews are not terrible. All I typically ask from a hotel is a clean room and Wi-Fi, as I'm hardly ever in the room anyway. I reserved a Non-Smoking room. However, when I checked in the only Non-Smoking room was a handicap room (which I don't mind) however the room CLEARLY smelled like previous guest DO smoke there! The room smelled terrible and was the only room available. I would have left to another location. However, I arrived at 11pm at night and just wanted some sleep. The sleep didn't happen and I got a very bad headache after a few hours in the room of the thick potent smoke smell. It was terrible. I was there on business and didn't get to rest for my important meeting. Furthermore, the staff was rude! and looked at me like I was a snob asking for something special. In addition, I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi internet, but had to go downstairs (after I had already unpacked and changed into something comfortable) to pay for a Wi-Fi code! really??? You guys are not setup for me to pay for Wi-Fi from my room??? Finally, when I did connect to the internet, the speed was extremely slow something I would only see from a dial-up connection. My signal kept disconnecting and just gave up on the internet. I would have asked for a refund of my $2.99 but 1) I didn't even want to speak to your staff at the front lobby, 2) I would have probably been told they couldn't do anything about it, as they appeared to be with zero authority up front 3)The $2.99 wasn't worth my time, by breath, nor worth getting into an argument with the staff. Finally, the accommodations were terrible!!! The room was dirty. Floor had stains, the bathrooms had crud on the corners of the walls, toilet and shower. Not all the lights worked, so the room was dark. The hotel is RIGHT next to the airport, so the airplanes are SOOOO loud and shook the room. The location must be in a dangerous location, as the guest and people around the hotel looked "thuggish". I would not have my daughters stay there. I paid ~$80 for the night. I know it's cheap for the area, but I wasn't expecting much. I would urge everyone to look somewhere else if they need a room to stay.
Excellent8.2
Pros: We've stayed at the Motel 6 chain a half dozen times. Last time was in Utah and I swore I'd never stay at a Motel 6 again. Prices being so high in the Newport Beach area, we decided to take a chance on this one. What a pleasant surprise! The room was exactly as pictured on the website, very spacious with a nice King size bed, perfectly adequate bathroom and a flat screen TV. Despite being next to the freeway, there was no highway noise and next to no noise in the hotel as well. Very peaceful overall.
Cons: There was some disturbance outside our room around 5:30 am, sounded like a loud speaker or something. That was not a huge issue. The bigger problem is the lack of restaurants close by. All that is available is fast food and convenience stores. We chose the hotel because of it's proximity to Newport Beach; turns out that it takes almost 1/2 hour to drive the 9 miles because of the traffic. Not the hotel's fault, but next time I'd pay more to be closer to the beach.
