The location was good as I needed to be south for a conference.
The pool doesn't open until 8:30 am, which is too late as I had to be at my conference by 9, the pillows on the bed were an odd very very small size, all the faucets were backwards, cold was hot and vice versa. Staff was so so. Most of the women working during the week were great, helpful and friendly. On the weekends, not so much. On Saturday morning I reported that my shower was spraying water all over the bathroom. Sunday morning it still hadn't been repaired. Bar staff has somewhat of an "attitude" as well, which is unfortunate. I guess because I asked for some ice, rather than buying a drink?? The hotel feels overpriced for what you get especially since there are so many other options in Sante Fe.
Some more snack options in the main lobby as there are no restaurants close. Pool was drained for the winter season still but it’s was 75 degrees all weekend.
Nothing like the website
We actually didn’t stay there . Looks NOTHING like there website! Horrible musty smell in the lobby Cheap and dirty. Looked at the room and left.
The location is a little far away from town, so you wouldn't want to walk from the hotel, but it's a great value and a great looking property. I highly recommend it.
Santa fe Ski trip.
The room was big and clean. The grounds are beautiful.
The front desk staff was rude when I checked in. The refridgerator kept me up all night, in fact, the room was noisy.
Leaky roof, dark and uncomfortable
This place is way overdue for a serious overhaul. We requested and early check in and were assured by the female manager that she'd get us in around 1:30. We arrived closer to 2pm and were told the room would be done shortly. By 3:30pm my wife and I decided to sleep in the car until it was ready (we'd been traveling since late the night before). After we got into the room we thought sleeping in the car might be the best bet: the AC unit didn't make the room much cooler and made a terrible, high pitched whine. The cleaning lady told us we shouldn't have to put up with it and called the maintenance man. However, he told us it was perfectly normal. The "Suite" consisted of a single bed by the front door and a second single bed in what was probably meant to be a closet. I'm not exadurating. The room had a midevil wrought iron hanging lamp and no room to walk around the bed. Outside was little better. The patio was in the parking lot and consisted of a table and two iron chairs all chained and bolted to an eyebolt drilled into the parking lot.
Clean it up or condemn it.
Great Night Stay
How glean and fresh everything looked...Was so impressed.
