Pros: Staff was consistently welcoming. Several unexpected amenities found in more expensive hotels. Clean throughout.
Cons: Disappointed in the mandatory valet parking and respective fee.

Pros: We have stayed here many times. Location is perfect: between Canyon Road art walk and Plaza.
Warm, friendly, clean, and mostly quiet.
Cons: TV is not HD. Still analog. Bed is not as sturdy as it should be, especially for a king. Decor needs upgrade.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful, We arrived early but since the room was ready they allowed us to check in. Afternoon wine tasting a great idea. Located only a couple of blocks from the plaza within easy walking distance. They also have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within 3 miles. Breakfast was included and the kitchen has a limited offering for dinner that was excellent.
Cons: Some minor noise issues, airconditioning fan was a bit bothersome and the toilet sound was very loud when flushed.
Nestled in the heart of the city, steps from the historic Santa Fe Plaza, the Inn on the Alameda is the closest downtown Santa Fe hotel to the Canyon Road galleries. There are no parking fees at the Inn, so it
Pros: The employees at Las Palomas are amazing, I can't say it enough! The warm cookies and varieties of complementary coffee are an unexpected treat! The included breakfast is over the top delicious! The rooms are fantastic, every one has a fireplace! I never want to stay anywhere else again!
Pros: Loved the casita, the staff was terrific, great breakfast, warm cookies, location, location, location! The fireplace with wood and starter provided was a nice touch although we did not need to use it.
Cons: fine line between rustic charm and needs work...our casita needed a little work in bathroom . Fitted bedding would have been nice...too many wrinkles and lumps caused by shifting mattress pad and bottom sheet. Uncomfortable for my "princess and the pea" body. Thermostat was set to 75 when we arrived! Turned it down to 60, the heat maintained at 65. Curious about the historic fee, although warned about it at booking.
Pros: Loved super helpful and friendly staff. Good location. Unit 1 was called a "super casita" and it WAS super, full living room, dining room & kitchenette, spacious bathroom & king bedroom. Lovely SW design touches. 200 year old building w wavey floor. Great breakfast, included in price. Parking included in price and directly in front of unit. I was shown multiple other rooms in other parts of their complex (planning a family reunion) and EACH was lovely. We want to come back soon!
Cons: Internet was free but dreadful. A few lightbulbs out -- but promptly fixed when mentioned.
Pros: Food, beds, service, courtyards and sitting areas, warm cookies at front desk and price.
Cons: The rooms are aging, but not damaged. The sofas were not comfortable at all from worn cushions. I don't have to have all modern...little cozier and not so stark so most of furnishings were fine It was clean and that is the most important along with wonderful customer service.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent! The staff were friendly and the location was great.
Cons: We were "upgraded" to a Casita from a studio. This was disappointment. The Casita smelled like smoke from the fireplace. The place needed a remodel/facelift in our view. Every room was less than what we expected from the website pictures of the studio we reserved.
Pros: Elizabeth and Al were most helpful in recommending dining places; we had great food at new and different restaurants. The breakfasts are super and omelets made just to your liking. It is a wonderful perk to have the shuttle service available on a windy afternoon. Location and parking are another plus.
Cons: The rooms are quaint and colorful but there isn't space dedicated to placement of suitcases during an extended stay.
Pros: 2 blocks away from shopping, museums, dining and entertainment.
Pros: Picturesque, great staff, wonderful breakfast.
Located in Downtown Santa Fe, this romantic hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Santuario De Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe and Palace of the Governors. San Miguel Mission and New Mexico State Capitol are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: Stay every year around this time and love hotel.
Cons: This year put in a handicap room which we did not request and did not like it. We made reservation 4 months before so no reason to stick is in handicap room
This downtown Santa Fe pet-friendly hotel is 1 block from both Palace of the Governors and Santa Fe Plaza. Museum of Contemporary Native Arts and Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi are both 5 minutes from the hotel. The New Mexico State Capitol is 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers) away.

Rooms provide complimentary local calls and wireless Internet access. Flat-screen TVs are equipped with cable channels and DVD players. Rooms offer iHome docking stations, minibars, and coffee/tea makers, as well as complimentary bottled water. Bathrooms include designer toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers.
Pros: Even the standard rooms are very well equipped with a kitchenette and are well furnished. Room was very clean and well kept and even though the place was busy it was always quiet. Parking is a bit limited in the lots and there are extra resort/parking fees. Would be a great place to spend a week or two and be doing some of your own cooking with the nicely setup kitchenette.
Pros: Beautiful one-bedroom unit, with plush furnishings and amenities. Unit totally turn key: granite kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, microwave, fridge, dishes, coffee maker, etc. Unit was Immaculate and comfortable with lovely furnishings, gas fireplace, 2 flat screen TVs, phones, wifi access and super comfy king-size bed. Easy access to unit from parking areas. Beautiful lobby fully stocked with coffee & tea 24/7, with computer and printer access and very helpful staff. Also loved the free shuttle service to Santa Fe Plaza available daily till 10pm, although the location is easily walkable. Swimming pool and hot tubs were beautiful as was the gym. I could go on -- this was probably the best hospitality experience we ever had and that's saying a lot. We definite plan to return next year and will always look for a Diamond Resort wherever we may travel. Best deal for the money. I highly recommend.
Pros: Very comfortable, updated and spacious suite. Tiffany @ front desk was helpful/accommodating.
Cons: The acoustics could have been better-the door to each room when slammed was easily heard. Maybe a better door closer and solid core door w/ higher STC could make a huge impact on noise.
Pros: The room was large and had a separate living room area with a fold out couch. There was a full size refrigerator and stove if you were going to stay long enough.
Cons: The hotel was shown as being close to downtown plaza area. It's not that close. But proximity and comfort were the only reasons I spent so much on the room (close to $200). We were only staying for one night. I can not recommend the Villa for a one night stay. It would be nice for an extended stay, but way too pricey for just one night. Wish I would have chosen something else.
Pros: The place was very clean. There is a kitchenette and that was imacculate. Just be aware there is a $10 a day resort fee and there is no daily maid service. If you call the front desk they will pick up trash and give towels. Its close to down towm but you do have cross a large street. I was happy we had a grocery store and a nice shopping center with.a starbucks, plus guys should check out the good sportsmans store. Inside the shopping center. We would vo back but its better for a extended stay.
Cons: The extra fee and the lack of maid service.

Cons: Not applicable

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful, facility was in great shape. our room was unique with original art and colorful furnishings. The lobby area is large and comfortable and well used.
Pros: The building is wonderful, a pueblo style exterior with an art-filled interior. The staff was gracious and accommodating. We loved the folk art touches scattered throughout the public places and rooms. You could hear the Basilica bells pealing and walk to the place to mingle with the tourists.
Cons: The La Fonda is a fine, venerable institution. Santa Fe has an extraordinary architectural homogeneity (in a good sense). The must have very strict zoning rules for the historical district. That being said, it all seemed a bit artificial, without the sights and sounds of real town. Not far out, there are miserable reservations with dirt-poor housing and a feeling of desolation. That is not La Fonda's fault, of course, but it is a bit shocking.
Pros: Year-in and year-out the LaFonda always sets the standard for my Santa Fe visits. Yes there are many great hotels in this wonderful town but for class, comfort, quality dining and loation you cannot beat this historic Inn.
Pros: The hotel is beautifully appointed with southwestern antiques and details. Staff was helpful and friendly. Central location and easy parking.
Pros: Great location
Cons: Room not as described or pictured at all, Huge disappointment. Also first room they checked us into had someone's drinks on the desk along with other items. Also when checking in, the manager said "Oh, you booked third party". Why should that matter? Made me fell like a low class guest. Then finally after being checked in to 2 other rooms, the third room was satisfactory. Also the pool and spa is not very good. Have had much much better at a Holiday Inn Express for hot tub, pool, and fitness equipment.
Pros: Very tourist oriented. No an elegant place, but comfortable.
Pros: The bathroom was unique and the setting of the hotel was perfect. Great for spending time and walking around Santa Fe.
Cons: My view was of a parking lot.
Pros: The comfortable beds, beautiful decor, very friendly staff and good location.
Pros: My husband and I found La Fonda a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay. The central dining room, where we often had breakfast and dinner, is a beautiful setting, with courteous staff, and excellent cuisine.
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel. The room was wonderful, the staff excellent and polite, the restaurant was wonderful, and the location was the best. It even included free parking in a covered garage.
Cons: Every aspect of this hotel was excellent.
Located in Downtown Santa Fe, this spa hotel is steps from Mountain Trails Gallery and Palace of the Governors. San Miguel Mission and New Mexico State Capitol are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Location, extremely friendly & helpful staff, fresh b'fasts, sherry in afternoon, attractive lobby & property, clean comfortable rooms w/ local decorations--& the ac was not noisy.
Cons: The chest of drawers that required the cabinet doors to be totally open before you could pull out drawers. Even then the drawers rubbed.
Pros: We had a family reunion there. We were from NY, San Francisco & Boston.wish they had Catholic TV. In this historic, holy town. Who cares about all the sports channels.
That won't get u into heaven. Swimming pool was 87 degrees in winter& pool
is open all day.
Pros: Attractive with nice amenities and great location.
Cons: Maid tried to get in our room to clean at 8 or 8:15 two mornings of our stay. We were sleeping in and this seemed a bit early. Cleaning staff were also talking loudly outside our room.
Location. This Santa Fe hotel is two blocks from Santa Fe Plaza and the Palace of the Governors museum. The Lensic Theater and San Miguel Mission are within one-quarter mile.

Pros: Perfect location betw. Historic District and Railyard Dist. Very accommodating staff.
Cons: The room (whose door opens to the outside) locked with a physical key that could easily be duplicated. We had no problems during our stay, but security seemed like a possible concern.
Pros: There was a nice breakfast of the usual: muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, and english muffins. I liked that I could walk to the plaza. I also liked that there were city buses to take to downtown. Great indian restaurant on same block. Other good restaurants nearby. I liked my room with the outside patio, lovely viga beams in the ceiling, refirgerator and microwave.
Cons: The light fixture over the sink was never repaired within the 3 nights I was there. Used a table lamp in bathroom. Not great lighting. Maid service a little lackadasical.
Pros: Charming, well-appointed, spacious room with patio. Excellent location.
Pros: Great location; walking distance to the plaza, restaurants, galleries; very friendly staff; decent continental breakfast
Cons: Biggest issue is the overall quality of the facilities----the place could stand some serious renovation, worn carpet, uneven heating, exterior painting. Also, the cable TV package gives new meaning to "basic" although we only watch at night.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Concierge offered us an umbrella when it looked like it would rain and gave us great recommendations for things to see around town. Our room had a beautiful beamed ceiling and skylights that let in the perfect amount of light. Very close walk into town.
Cons: I wish we had asked for a stopper to the tub as a bath after our hike would have been nice.
When you stay at Guadalupe Inn, you'll be just a 5-minute drive from San Miguel Mission and Palace of the Governors. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast available daily. Also, New Mexico State Capitol and Museum of Indian Arts and Culture are within a short drive.
Pros: Super friendly and accommodating staff. Clean rooms with fun western decor. Conveniently located, great value. Will definitely stay here again. Will definitely recommend it to friends!!

Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 10 AM. Also, Palace of the Governors and Museum of Indian Arts and Culture are within a short drive.
Cons: can take a long time to get hot water in the villas
Pros: Rooms are well designed and very stylish. Drinks on patio watching the sun set is a must!

There's an outdoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this luxurious resort include upscale features like fireplaces and soaking tubs.
Pros: I liked the Sante Fe style of the rooms and our courtyard with fountain. Breakfast was also pleasant each morning.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that my smallest room on the property was the same price as my friend's suite, which could have housed both of us for 1/2 the price had we known.
Pros: location, staff were friendly.
Cons: there was no real closet to hang clothes in. The space was only 12 inches aprox as there was large square part of the wall taking up all the space. Also they had said there was a fireplace in every room, ours did not have one and we were told there was "a burning ban, anyway"
Pros: Easy walking to most attractions. Good parking and easy highway access. Friendly and competent staff. Excellent included breakfast (fresh fruit, eggs to order, & great granola). Unique and area-appropriate room décor and atmosphere. Would stay here again.
Cons: Bed was too high.
The Inn at Vanessie offers a great location, putting you within a 15-minute walk of Palace of the Governors and San Miguel Mission. Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Vanessie, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner. Nice touches like iPod docks, bathrobes, and comfy beds with Frette Italian sheets are offered up in all rooms at this luxurious inn.
Pros: The Luxx has an excellent location, tucked away near the Santa Fe Plaza and the Palace of the Governors. Rooms are clean, quiet, and well furnished. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Pros: Incredibly friendly staff. Outstanding location. great price point. Clean, cool, funky rooms. We had a major airline snafu and had to return for an extra night and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Just a great place.
Cons: Room was on the cramped side...but we are a family of 5 so were using all of the sleeping space (the master bed area and the pullout couch (actually much more comfortable then that...it's a bed under a day bed, can't recall the name for this) so not entirely representative.
Cons: Had to pay $20 to park (didn't know that until we got there)
Minimal front staff - not there in evening or morning
Blinds did not fit window so not very private
Would not stay there again
Pros: Great little hotel.we booked it for the price..it was such an unexpected surprise.Sam who was working the front desk all weekend was so helpful..
Pros: I found the Luxx to be a charming little place. It's off the main drag, which is nice, and it has some great amenities. It's definitely a bargain - if you don't like staying in bland, cookie-cutter chain hotels but still expect a good experience, the Luxx is a great venue.
The rooms definitely feel as though they're all unique - and they likely are. Bold colors on the walls, wild patterns on floor, brightly-colored tile headboards, and some requisite mission-style wood pieces to tie it all together. It is different and welcoming. To me, it feels like home.
Love that they use key codes instead of key cards - no chance of getting locked out that way. My room had two doors - one for interior access to the hotel and a back door exiting into an outdoor lounge with hot tub access. Not sure if all of the rooms have this setup, but being able to come and go without actually going through the interior of the hotel added to the privacy - I liked this very much.
The hotel definitely seems to cater to a crowd that are likely affluent, not travelling with children, and who like something different. I didn't see any evidence of children anywhere and I was easily the youngest person I saw there as well (I'm in my mid 20's). I had no disturbances from other guests during my stay, either. It's a nice scene.
Slept great, got to my meeting on time and rested. Great staff all-around. Love this place. Will return as business brings me back to Santa Fe.
Cons: The parking situation is not ideal, but that's the trade off for the location. I opted to pay for secured parking the the gated parking garage next door instead of feeding parking meters/chancing a ticket. The rate for this is a bit steep ($20) but I found it worth it to avoid being towed, getting dented, or having to get snow off the car. I found all of the parking options to be sub-par even for my very small car. It shouldn't be a surprise in Sante Fe, but if you're driving something big and haven't been before, you'll find the parking a squeeze for an SUV.
Pros: Great price. Great location
Cons: $20 Extra for parking. Most paid since SF.

A spa tub and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like comfy beds and rainfall showerheads.
Inn on the Paseo puts you in a great location, within a 15-minute walk of Palace of the Governors and San Miguel Mission. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like comfy beds with premium linens.
Pros: The minute I walked in, the vibe was very relaxed, lighting was perfect and it felt inviting. The staff at the front ran were friendly, professional and very helpful.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the road noise. Weather was ideal so I had my door open and because it it located at a busy intersection, I heard a lot of car noise.
Again, this is the ONLY thing I didn't like.
Pros: Loved it all! Comfy bed, great balcony view, but private, great meal in restaurant, very pretty surroundings
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Room was not fully cleaned. We were put right next to the kitchen, which got pretty loud around 5 am.
Cons: The restraunt was very disappointing. The food appeared and tasted like frozen entrees from the grocery store, mediocre at best. The wait staff, while very pleasant, were slow and had to come back several times to clarify our orders.

Professionally trained butlers are available and a free breakfast and afternoon reception are provided.
Pros: It was a very clean hotel with an excellent continental breakfast.
Cons: I don't think it was worth the price of the room. We stayed in a room with a king sized bed, and there was no bath tub in the bathroom. I just wanted to relax and was shocked to see no tub. I paid $179 a night-I think I was entitled to a hot bath at that price. For a hotel that is right off the interstate, nothing picturesque, not near any night life, not near the plaza; it was exceptionally overpriced. I am from Albuquerque and needed to stay in Santa Fe overnight. I know that Santa Fe runs a little more pricey than Albuquerque, but still...If I am going to pay that much, I'd like a little more value for my money. I will be finding a different hotel to stay in.
Guest rooms feature contemporary decor with stylish furnishings including the Hyatt Grand beds, state-of-the-art media and work center with a high-definition 42-inch flat panel HDTV that easily integrates with laptops, a comfortable cozy corner L-shaped sofa-sleeper, and bathroom vanity with granite counter tops. Pros: Bed so relaxing. Nidah spa was very nice. I really pampered myself.
Pros: Staff was excellent. Very accommodating. Lobby and bar are updated.
Cons: The rooms are very dark. No overhead lighting, just floor lamps.
Pros: Great location
Cons: We booked a king room, but when we arrived we got a double room. Told us they could not guarantee roomwhen booked through a third party vendor. Disappointed and would book directly through hotel, to insure we get the room we want.
Pros: Great hotel marred by two issues
Cons: 1. "Heat is off in the summer" when outdoor temps are around 60 in the morning. Room was cold.
2. On check in, front desk tried to repudiate getaroom's reservation for a king size bed. They capitulated after I protested. Something to keep in mind: Getaroom, expedia, et al are agents of the hotel.
Pros: The front desk staff was amazing! I believe her name was kadeisha. She was friendly, informative and accommodating.
Cons: The valet staff was rather rude. They insisted we had to valet and even when we said we would pay the valet fee but prefer to park ourselves. He was quite condescending. I have traveled quite a bit and havent been to a hotel that wouldn't allow a guest to self park if they agreed to pay the prevailing parking rate.
The rooms were spacious but were quite dark. The pool wasn't well cared for- the dirty towels were overflowing, the pool and hot tub had debris at the bottom, and there wasn't much to be desired.
Pros: It's a very quiet hotel in the low season. Restful and I got a lot of work done. The historic area is within easy walk as are several very good restaurants.
Cons: I think it's time for a furniture/drapery upgrade in the rooms, especially the mattresses. I expected better in a "luxury" hotel. If I had paid full high season price for this hotel, I would have been dissapointed.
Pros: Great public spaces
Cons: Windows in room were a little janky
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and so was my room. The bed was so comfortable. Location was great and staff were very helpful
Cons: Excellent for large groups or tours.
Pros: Location, atmosphere,
Cons: Was not told garage cost extra. Asked for extra towels twice and never got, bathroom exhaust fan inoperable, asked for quiet location but got room close to one with barking dogs and children playing in the hall.
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful. The spa was very nice. Room service was good.
Cons: The room service was a little expensive for what it was. The massages are also a bit over priced as well.
Location. This Santa Fe hotel is two blocks from Santa Fe Plaza and within one-quarter mile of the Lensic Theater, the Georgia O’Keefe Museum, and the New Mexico Museum of Art.

Cons: hook for towel kept falling off wall - we left it on counter, and the next day it fell off wall again.
only 3 towels for 2 Queen beds - really???
VERY hard beds
Pros: The room was clean. That's about all I can say that I liked.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking.
The coffee tasted horrible.
The bed was so hard I could not sleep.
I knew the pool was closed, but read the hot tub was open so I was looking forward to at least getting to relax a bit in the hot tub...no luck there; the hot tub was closed up too.
The hotel has no night staff on duty. When we got there, we had to wake someone up to get in the front door and get checked in. We would have been better off to not book ahead and just grab a room at Motel 6 when we got there. We will definitely find another place to stay when we go back to Santa Fe.

Pros: The rooms are huge, pretty much the size of a small apt! I think they upgraded us because we booked a King Room, but ended up getting a kitchen and living room with a fireplace. Would have been perfect if the room would have come with wood to make a fire.
Pros: Clean, updated and free breakfast was very good!
This hotel was the best I used years ago, they have downgraded and have hard walkways to get to room, it is not as open and friendly but ok
Cons: Staff on Sunday inattentive, on the cell phone texting in kitchen, others talking to each other about Saturday night, Althogh check in was very good.
Great for families or groups. Big rooms great kitchen. Awesome staff
Pros: Incredible pool and outdoor spaces. Loved the barbecue. Great breakfast and friendly staff
Cons: Perfection ..no problems
