Pros (+) There is a beautiful forest a few blocks away. The hotel has bikes for rent so a person can either ride through the beautiful forest or walk. There are many paths.
Cons (-) It is a very full hotel so I had to wait from 9 am until 12:30 pm to get into a room. Check in is officially 2 pm, but I was willing to pay extra since I had flown all night. There simply was not a clean available room until 12:30 pm. Understandable but unfortunate.

Pros (+) Great hotel close to Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport with a free shuttle to and from the airport. Beautiful rooms and the most luxurious comforatble bed for the waety traveler. Very expansive breakfast.

Pros (+) The shuttle service when it was on schedule and could transport everyone desiring a ride to/from hotel to airport terminals and the few staff that were on duty ...usually weekdays
Cons (-) Spotty shuttle service on Weekends due to mismanaging the requirement to transport many guests. I waited 90 minutes for the shuttle that transports folks every 30 minutes and after the third missed shuttle because there were more folks than seats, I spent 30$ on a taxi to "shuttle" me a few miles to the airport hotel....all this after calling them and they said they'd provide a ride - never happen...

Cons (-) too long to get to central amsterdam. always shuttle and then train from airport to central. need train near hotel. also shuttle shuts off after 12 so I had to pay cab fare twice. also breakfast is super expensive.

Pros (+) I left my purse in the restaurant during breakfast. My husband ran back to get it 2 hours later, the waiter remembered him and had my purse safe and sound with everything in it. He was very nice!!!
