The staff were really helpful. Very efficient. Clean and had everything I needed. It was in a good position for motorway access. Poor range of food on offer. No english newspapers. Only one english TV channel.
The staff was very accomodating The bathroom was very small
Rooms are beautifully decorated in nice, warm colors. All is very fashioned, design - modern bathroom and top quality which I did not expect at the Mercure and was very much impressed and pleased. Stayed at a more wellknown hotel the night before but will definitely choose Mercure Bristol Stuttgart at my next visit as the hotel rooms are much superior.
Very comfortable bed, excellent b'fast (lots of choice) and general good food
Comfortable room, ease of access from the motorway. Wi-Fi connection was of very poor quality; the staff is apparently aware of that, as from the moment they hand out the access codes they explicitely point out that for any technical problem there is a dedicated hotline to be called (hinting that the reception desk has nothing to do with it).
The comfortable and professional setting
friendly and helpful staff, very clean and modern.
opening hours very good, we arrived very late but were still able to have a drink, breakfast excellent
booking not clear for the hotel staff. uncontrolled water temperature from the shower
A quiet location yet near the business Payable Internet Connection
Close to autobahn and major shopping center. Quiet, modern rooms, friendly and efficient staff.
In is within walking-distance of the exhibition-grounds. None.
The room was new & spacious. Really valued for money. The location of the hotel is not too ideal. Travelling to the city can be abit of problem if you're not coming via own transport. If via car, there are P+R in the nearby towns.
Good location, nice room, very clean and good value. Staff were unhelpfull, for example I asked how long it would take to get to the S bann station and was told that it would take 5 mins by taxi or 15 mins walking - however there was a bus stop just 400 metres away that took us to the station (it would not have been possible for anyone to walk to station in 15 mins as it was at least 2.5 miles away).
Front Desk staff, very helpful!
For a 4* Hotel I did feel that it was unreasonable to charge for overnight parking, espacially the amount of 10Euro/night
Near to the trains station - and for me near to the Messe, but not for some. Room very clean and warm. No coffee or tea available in room -bed position to far for night light (had to get out of bed).Fan in bathroom very noisy.
A good service for a reasonable rate. As a business customer, this hotel fares well despite being a *** against the **** I usually book in the area.
The hote staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants and shopping centres are just 800 kms away. A great hotel
The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We spent 2 wonderful days at the EuroHotel. No.
quite atmosphere, pleasant staff, close to the station almost no facilities, no coffee machine in the room
No English News Channel on TV
Finding it! Still has IBIS logos and no Eurohotel signs
A peacefull hotel.breakfast is ok.reception staff very friendly. In one single day I have no towel in bathroom.at 23 o'clock I have to go down to reception to pick up the towels.an accident, probably!
Very clean and comfortable. No balconey, as many hotels in Germany have.
breakfast was incredible
cheap five star hotel - value for money - close to a shopping mall
The staff were exceptional; very polite, cheerful and welcoming.
the staff was very friendly and helpful. the hotel was not really fit in 5 star category, I'd reckon. 4 would be more realistic. The interior decoration should be renewed.
Perfect location for business. All necessary leisure & business facilities. Internet is not free but reasonably priced and works very well. The restaurant "Steakhouse" professionally serves very delicious food. Despite of some critics I have, this hotel is probably the best in the area. Rooms & bathrooms a bit dated, in need of some refurbishment. Air-conditioning or ventilation is quite noisy. One day room was not done by 4:00 PM. Breakfast is too expensive for what it's if to be paid apart.
It was a very comfortable hotel, clean and well maintained, huge beds and excellent breakfast. The restaurant was closed and as we had a young child with us, would have prefered to eat in.
No free internet access, and paid internet connection is quite expensive and quality is terrible.
kindness of staff, garage, convenient location hotel's restaurant was closed for dinner
It was in the centre
Had a lovely dinner, food was wonderful - good service. n/a
Charming friendly receptionist when we arrived on Sat. 9 Aug. And very comfortable, well-equipped quiet room.
I liked that the hotel had a restaurant and bar, and that breakfast was included. My room was spacious and was quiet. I found it unusual to not have a clock in the room. I had to turn on the TV to know what time it was.
Internet access with low debit
I dont know I did not like being woken by the maid at 0755 in the morning
Clean room, pleasant staff
This was our last night before going to the airport after a 3 week trip. We had forgot that there was a swimming pool and it was hot so that was a plus. We also enjoyed dining at the restaurant and were tired so we had everything we needed there. The breakfast was the best we had in 3 weeks! I would definitely recommend this hotel and the value and price were very reasonable.
easy to find, just in front of my business destination the rate advertised "including access to super fitness center" well... it's 15 min drive away!!! buffet dinner only, sad.
Friendliness and efficiency of the staff Ae a wheelchair user, I found the bathroom a little too small, especially with regard to placement of the toilet, which ideally should not have been placed close to the wall with handles only on one side
Staff helpfull and welcoming. Modern equipment. Great breakfast buffet. Nothing within walking distance.
Rooms very tidy, and clean. Staff were very friendly Breakfast was good.
good business location after a working day easy to reach very noisy hall because of footballtabel and other computer games
Friendly staff willing to give extra help to strangers finding their way around town. Air conditioning unable to keep the room cool.
Excellent sofa bed which was so easy to fold up we were able to use it as a sofa during the day which left room for our 2 young children to play on the floor. We had chosen this hotel as it was advertised as having mini bars & tea and coffee facilities in the room however it didn't which was an inconvience as we had food and milk to store.
Kindness of staff The staff could ask if we need a child chair
Only 5 euro for WiFi, smoked salmon for breakfast, free fruit in reception and free bottled water when checking out - all good value. Charged for local calls used as part of a calling card. These should be free calls.
breakfast is very good, location near city center+train station.Decoration is funky. i didn't like that no reception representitive is available after 8PM,so it is impposible to expect any hotel services after this time.
Very modern and appealing. Not really. It's a nice place.
Unadequate hotel level in relation to a 4-star category.
close to airport the room i was given was lately painted and smelled bad. i asked to change the room. they gave me a smaller room upstairs . the t.v. and hairdryer didn't work. they charged us 11.50 euro. for parking in the hotel undergroud, because we could'nt find a parking space outside. we thought 11.50 euro for breakfast was too much.
This hotel was in the general vicinity of the Mercedes factory in Sindelfingen, Germany. Though I'm sure there are nicer hotels in the Stuttgart area we were limited to that area since we weren't going to have wheels until after picking up our new car at the factory. So, we picked it primarily for the location, but it turned out to be one of the nicest, friendliest, and quietest hotels I've ever stayed at. The buffet breakfast was among the best I've ever had, in both selection & quality. My better half used the pool (which was deserted) a couple of times and it was nice, if small.
The fact that it was a total non-smoking hotel. Although the 1st room that I was allocated certainly smelled of cigerate smoke Felt for the money that I paid for this hotel that it was not value for money, there were no Fridge, Tea Making facilities or Air Conidition, I have stayed in hotels as a lesser cost and they have had all 3 of these factilities available. Also the fact that you could not get the lift to 3rd floor, not suitable, especially for any elderly people. Quality of food for breakfast was poor
convenience to where my friends lived. near s-bahn, also not too far from stuttgart also near sindelfingen. small rooms.tv in awkward place. no air conditioning.
clean room smell and security
I liked the sauna and the indoor pool. It was really nice.
Hotel Berlin is clean and a very good staff. There is also quite a bit of free parking and inexpensive garage. Breakfast was the typical German variety and tasty. The layout was odd. The location was in a neighborhood and somewhat distant from other things. Not a big objection however
Nice Sauna and indoor pool: those guys do the effort to welcome you! Breakfast super good. Not so much
Clean; modern; quiet; free parking on-site; inexpensive; good Italian restaurant right across the street. Recommend. Wi-fi not free, but there is a community computer near the front-desk.
This hotel is very central in the town & excellent for visiting the Brauhaus. The staff were very friendly & the room was excellent as was the breakfast.
Family run hotel with excellent service. Location is close to S Bahn stop and located downtown near quality resturants and a beer garden.
Spaceous, clean and quiet room under the roof. Good parking facilities. Correct and friendly personnel. Route description was not so clear.
Only the staff, I would think. No real comfort. The elevator always took ages to arrive. No restaurant. Have stayed in much more comfortable places with a lot more facilities at the same or lower price.
Location is outstanding, near Altstadt &numerous good restaurants. Some free parking behind hotel. Free newspapers, incl IHT. WiFi free in lobby, restaurant area. A lot of Americans live in the area but they have almost no American customers. This was not a problem, just surprising.
the bed could have been more wide, it was a bit small
Everything was acceptable, but that is all. The room we were given was right next to a busy road and the pavement was right next to the window looking directly into our room. The room was very noisey you could hear every noise! Finally we were told to park our car in the underground parking area, with no alternative parking offered, on checking out we were asked for a further €12 for parking, which really annoyed me, especially as they, (the receptionist) then reminded me there was a nother area we could have used for free!
Very obliging staff quiet comfortable room No
The hotel had no bath tubs - and I actually asked prior to confirming the booking and was told that all rooms had bath tubs. We had to book another hotel for our stay in Stuttgart. Not happy!
Very nice room
I liked almost everything about this hotel. The one issue I had was a room on the main road side of the hotel, which was not as quiet as a rear room I had previouly stayed in.
Very comfortable big room, rich breakfast, underground parking, free internet, friendly reception
The staff is really helpful and quickly respond to our requests. The minibar was not existing, but we could find all we needed in a close-by supermarket.
Parking garage. Friendliness of reception staff
The cleaning staff were very nice. The reception staff was not as friendly as I thought they should be.
Rooms were a good size & comfortable; breakfast offered a good choice; secure parking. Overall, excellent value for money.
The location, the breakfast and the quiet room. The advertised restaurant was closed during the entire stay. The only bar was closed on a Sunday and with no minibar, which had been removed, you had to go out. I attempted to speak to the manager on the Friday, but the staff, who could not help, advised the manager was away until 08.00 on Monday. On Monday the staff advised the manager was on holiday. There was nobody in authority to deal with!!!
good room, good break fast, closeness to the town May be hotel can make some arrangements for pick up and drop which will greatly convinience all guests. You may charge reasonable money .
Friendliness No room telephone or lift
Stayed at this hotel for two nights, we wanted to be close to Airport( 5 minutes by city train, 10 minutes by taxi about 10 euros), and Stuttgart city center(20 minutes by city train) Our double room was basic but very clean and comfortable, breakfast was also good(served between 7 and 9 kind of short time but it was OK to me), plenty of choices. Echterdingen train station is just a 5 minutes walk, there is also a supermarket close to the station. In general excellent value for the money(we paid 60 Euros/Night) Highly recommended for the budget traveler.
Sorry no time to write now Sorry no time to write now
The hotel was convenient to the airport, the owner was helpful, our room was clean and it's size good for the price, the shower in the room worked well, and the breakfast was good. I have no complaints.
Very convinient location for visiting Stuttgart Messe or overnight stop for connecting flight (1 stop by S-bahn from the airport/messe, 5 min walking distance form the station). It's located in quite area, 10 min walking distance from town center. Very clean, tidy and simple; free wi-fi, very nice service. I'd reccomend for business travelers for 1-2 nights stay.
The staff was very friendly. Rooms was very clean and the breakfast was good. The radiators were functional (was cold outside). The distance between hotel and city center (10 S Bahn stastions).
Everything is quite unique! As a matter of fact, Airport Hotel Safak 33 is not so much a hotel as a B&B. Due to this reason, Airport Hotel Safak 33 was felt so amiable and easy of access just like its owner-Safak! Airport Hotel Safak 33 is considerably near the Exhibition Hall-Messe(Only one stop by S-Bahn), I have ever walked there for just one time (till I realized it's only one stop away...)
Friendly staff, good location, near to nice restaurants and bars. Nice room, clean and of spacious. No elevator...
Quite considerate and flexible
I wanted a good, clean, fairly basic hotel close to the Stuttgart Messe. This filled the bill excellently.
excellent service, very friendly staff, green area around it, very good breakfast with a wide selection of food
Very helpful Did not take credit cards
It is poor for 3* hotel not to have TV in thr room or Internet facilities It is poor for 3* hotel not to have TV in thr room or Internet facilities
hotel staff is very nice, kind, and helpful. it is clean but quiet old. no renovation done.. easy to reach to the hotel. the room was very cold, heating doesnt work.
Was very impressed with the renovated shared bathroom. Lounge is smoky. Laminated flooring is very creaky.
Rooms were clean and as advertised.
This gasthof was comfortable and clean in a good location for the town, 15 minutes drive from Stuttgart airport, and the owners were friendly and helpfull, There was not so much onsite car parking as I thought was suppose to be available, so I did have to park in the street a couple of times, but I didn't have any problems with my car
Small , friendly host, also a bar (without disadvantage of that), close to center of Sindelfingen. Although it was a non-smoker room, there was still old smoke smell present. Toilet & bathroom at the hall , shared with 1 or 2 other rooms.
everything, it was filthy
The owners are very friendly, the hotel is clean, prices are absolutely fair.
The owners are very kind
The hotel is located in the quiet area, close to the town centre with plenty of restraunts and not far from the train station. The Gasthof either has a free parking area and is ideal for those who travel by car. The owner of the hotel was really friendly and helpful, so it felt like we stayed at our relatives or friends) He offered us to use his laptop to connect to the internet for free. When we needed to call to the landline phone to book a car he also let us make a call from his phone for no charge. The hotel has a restaraunt downstairs serving really good German beer!
Staff didn't speak English but we got by with my broken German. Once we connected they were helpful.
After long way by car from Berlin we were very pleased by friendly atmosphere in this hotel, thanks to Lena and her husband (the owners). I would recommend the hotel for young travellers without high requirements as an adventure. If you don't want to freeze - be fast in the shared bathroom :)
Double bed in one room was small (140 cm)
The friendliness of the staff as well as the couple who own the hotel. (We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children staying in a triple room on a bed and breakfast basis, and the owner did not charge us for the 4th breakfast. It was a very nice gesture.) The room and bathroom were recently renovated and very clean. Our triple room did not contain a closet . When we inquired about this, we were told that this was because there was no space for a closet in this room. They did provide hangers to hang on the wall. We ended up putting most of our clothes on the nightstands.
The relation between price and what was offered is very good. Also the variety of the breakfeast buffet was very good.
Excellent friendly helpful staff, with the best breakfast of our stay in Germany, France and Holland!
good position, the hotel are clean poor breakfast, too small parking, nothing special.
What we liked: Polite reception person (probably the owner himself) who changed 3 rooms to make sure we are comfortable (Room for a couple had separate beds). Everything is tidy, clean (and minimalist) although some minimal perks are offered - we liked water bottle in the room and minuscule pack of candies, very thoughtful after long journey. most rooms are very small. only few rooms are big (probably for triples). Very old fashion TV which is hard to view, nowadays it's real cheap to change it. Buffet breakfast is not very much renewed so if you get up late - you miss the treats :) (However it is still OK). Makes impression of "no frills" hotel. Corridors are quite cold, rooms were OK.
Although I announced (as required!) that i'll come by 20:30 the hotel was closed and no one answered. After several phone calls someone came and open. No staff was present. No service, no food, no drink - only a place to sleep. I have to drive 5km to find something to eat. In my opinion, this is not a hotel.
Excellent communication with personnel.
Very nice hotel for the price, reception is perfect, breakfast good... location to the south of Stuttgart, which is perfect to go to the fair and airport.
In booking.com write check-in 11.00-23.30 and when we arrived at 13.00 the hotel was closed. The hotel is closed from 12.00 to 16.00! The breakfast very poor.
Nice and friendly environment Wireless internet in the room is missing, although this is claimed as present in the booking.com prenotation webpage.
* Staff is very friendly, even waited for us when late for breakfast. * Beds very comfortable. * 1970s charme * Located centrally in Böblingen * No guide (how-to) in room * No remote control for tv * Showering gel and shampoo only for one of two nights
Lovely on the inside. Great location and clean.
Friendly hotel manager was always available when we requested extra pillows and information. A garaged parking space was available for us throughout the stay (at extra cost). Nice, quiet room. Great shower! There was a smell from the restaurant next door, but we thought it wasn't as bad as some other people have said in their reviews.
The room was the biggest we've had in a private hotel in Germany, and it was well-appointed. Breakfast was a little skimpy by German breakfast standards. And there was no hair dryer in the bathroom (but having stayed at German hotels before, I had anticipated this eventuality and brought my own. Nevertheless, were I coming from the US, this would have been a problem because of the different electrical current and outlets.)
The hotel was situated in the centre of the town which is ideal. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We actually were given a mezzanine room so with three aduts sharing this was very spacious. We were disappointed with the lack of choic for breakfast. Although we understand and accept that it was a continental breakfast apparently our friends who live in Germany said that it was usual practice for hotels to offer boiled eggs to guests. We were not given offered this. We were only offered cereal, breads with conserves, a choice of two meats (sausage they called it) and cheese along with tomatoes.
Quiet central location within walking distance of the S-bahn station and shops. Selection of restaurants close by. No-one at reception after 18.00.
In the room, it was a horrible smell from the kitchen.
We indicated late arrival. The hotel manager called when the indicated time of arrival passed to see where we were, and helped us find the hotel. Excellent service!! Not somuch about the hotel, but more about the routing to this hotel. When inputting the address into a navigation system, the system will inform that the address is situated on a non-reachable street. It might be better to advise a different address for SatNav users (Untere Gasse 31).
Excellent Service; nice family driven hotel
Owner/manager very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Simple small hotle well located. Nice breakfast room. Room backed onto the kitchen of greek restaurant so quite noisy. Very hot with inadequate ventilation (room), window looked onto wall (of greek resto) some 3 feet away. Hoel's resto was shut, but no advance info. Old german style of outside was not mirrored inside, quite yuk decor of room.
The breakfast is awesome ! Location is close to grocery store & bakery (3 minutes walking). Wi-Fi is most of the time fast enough for Skype. Parking at the hotel is free and there is more available just around the corner at the soccer stadium (1 minute walk). No A/C in the rooms might be a problem on hot summer days when you have a room that faces the (busy) street (when you open your windows you WILL wake up early in the morning !). Parking directly at the hotel is limited. None of that was a "dealbreaker" for me, - will stay there definitely again !
Clean, reasonable and easy commute to Stuttgart and suburbs.
The staff was very accommodating. My single room was small but quite comfortable. The breakfast buffett is not to be missed.
excellent breakfast, good location 3km from company, near to good restaurant (100m) Quite strong smoke odours coming from the ventilation in bathroom. Lot of traffic in front of the hotel (main street), so you can't open the window
Very good location close to all major activities in both the us military communities (Patch & Panzer) as well as shopping and restaurants.
Great value. The road noise people complain of wasn't so bad. But price and breakfast easily made up for everything else. Would stay here again under the same circumstances. Parking was a little inconvenient.
