Our villa had a spectacular view with a brilliant jacuzzi and a private pool. The staff were really helpful and polite! The saffron restaurant had delicious food and was set in a spectacular location. The beach that the resort is situated on is very beautiful as well. Over all we had a lovely experience and enjoyed to our fullest!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with beautiful views .
Cons: I hated the 2 Dogs on chains locked in their store room . Dogs are allowed loose at night , but only in the store room. We are animal lovers and hate to see animals on chains . Very cruel.
7.5 Good
Pros: I love how quiet and relaxing the place is with lots of privacy. This is the perfect place for couples looking for sometime out from busy and also families looking to take a break with the kids as the rooms are nice and big and can accommodate families.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Everything was nice except the tortoises kept in a small environment.
Cons: The tortoises were kept in 30 m2 ....so not ok with that
7.0 Good
Pros: Extremely large and comfortable bed, clean towels, powerful conditioner, quiet place. It was very pleasant to fall asleep listening to birds' songs and ocean waves' rhythm
Cons: The reception desk was always empty - nobody met me. It is not the fault of the hotel, but the taxi price from Victoria Airport to the place is disappointing - about 60 euro. Dishes in the restaurant are delicious, but also very expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, except the quality of the internet - it was a bit poor and half worked most of the time. Apart from that I didn’t have anything to complain about. Excellent place in an excellent location!
Cons: The internet worked rather poorly
6.0 Good
Pros: Location very good. Food good.. Staff very good
Cons: Room not so clean...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our junior suite was perfect, with the little private garden and amazing view. Breakfast was good, all that is needed (pancakes really nice).
Cons: Big groups for lunch, as an inhouse guest you feel squeezed and mixed up with the day visitors. Service was also a bit slow, and Reception staff you have to hunt down and feel you are always disturbing them doing something else.
6.0 Good
Pros: The team was kindly. Everybody very friendly in Takamaka.. like a big family. There is some turtle here, and its interesting. If you dont like to sunbathing and swim, its a perfect place to resting... The rocks the place is really photoful! They have a bus station near to the road and its easy to use the public transport... good choice to make a journey from here.
Cons: The beach was dirty not like in the photos. A lot of natural, green things was here. ... and there are plastic bottles and other trash.. day by day.. nobody pick up.. nobody clean... Here its hard to go into the water because the waves are big, but maybe we dont had a luck with the weather... The wi-fi is horrible. Work only near the reception and you can use 3 times about 10 tries! If you had... 50 kbyte/sec.. The nearest market is 20 minutes in foot. Here the drink and food is very expensive but the tasty not so exclusive.. If you stay here it will be good to rent a car.

Pros: Very attentive Stuff! They are all very friendly and do a perfevt service! Thank you
Cons: The Helicopter sometimes makes nose over the beach and pool area.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hotel which definitely jusitifies its five star rating. Rooms are very big, comfortable, and extremely quiet - we managed to have a very relaxing stay indeed. They are also well supplied with coffee, mineral water (I found it really tasty), and first class shampoos from Salvatore Ferragamo. The bed is very comfortable. The service is excellent - fast, precise, and non-obtrusive. The beach is great, so is the pool. The hotel is also very secure (there is a guarded private road leading to it). The restaurants are not cheap (which is to be expected) but I have to say that I had the best grilled tuna fish in my life there. Breakfast is great with many different options, including local jams and fruits. Best of all, however, are the Ladies In Red. Lavinia and Victoria were extremely knoledgeable and helpful and responded quickly to all our requests and questions. They give to the resort that little extra special thing. Thanks!
Cons: Nothing negative to say, really - it was a great stay. One of the lamps did not function properly and there was a small leak from the humidifier but these were quickly solved.
7.1 Good
Pros: Amazing location and great staff!!
Cons: Property out of date and fairly overpriced. Little quality entertainment
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is very nice, the beach is calmer than other places on the island. The resort is more family oriented, but overall very nice. Clean and beach is incredible and calm, good for snorkeling. Definitely recommend walking all along the beach.
Cons: nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, amazing breakfast and overall atmosphere. Very nice beach. Great Kids Club, very friendly for small kids
Cons: The lighting in the room not enough. A good reading lamp could have helped. The room and vicinity was not always clean enough.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: As always the location and butler are perfect. The spa is high quality treatments.
Cons: This time when i visit the property after 2 years many things were change. First, the beach at the property become more famous so many people are coming there to enjoy at your backyard and you don’t have privacy at the villa. Second, the all inclusive service which they providing become low quality specialy about the drinks and water. Finally, i recommend if they can do some changes in restaurants’ menu as it’s been the same for long time.

Pros: Always clean
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that the staff was very prompt and accommodating.
Cons: I enjoyed the fruit and coffee during breakfast. Just wished that there were a few more options other than eggs with toast and/or pancakes. Nonetheless, it was still good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room view was amazing The hotel beach was very relaxing The staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Poor Internet (but this is an issue in all of Seychelles) Water partially dirty ( maybe because they use rainwater) Food was not great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On the beach, which was quiet, very clean, great breakfast, 15 mins from airport by car
Cons: All good
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Room size was good, not the same for bathroom size. View from balcony was superb. I suggest to switch to buffet breakfast.
Cons: Stained wipes, not enough for all guests. Shower with cold or hot water, however not well adjustable. The beach was dirty, with a lot of broken glass and dangerous and rusty iron caps. Near the hotel there is an abandoned building occupied by disreputable people
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, cleanliness of the hotel, friendly staff
Cons: breakfast and sometimes dinner. The same meal on 2 days tasted differently. One day it was very nice other day very bad. My feedback and dissatisfaction was actually ignored. Nobody cared that I did not enjoy the meal, which was served differently couple days earlier. Very disappointing especially when it's happening on the last day and all the positive view of the place is just covered with this negative experience.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Poor restaurant menu food selection.
Cons: No vegetables, soups or salads; listed items on the menu unavailable. Side dishes were just rice, fries and pasta.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Place calm and quite
Cons: Service
5.0 Okay
Cons: the security outside: (at the back) didn't feel safe because the fence/ wall was a bit low and there was a hole in the fence which people can access the property easily.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Please do yourself a favor and NOT book this hotel. It's sadly been neglected and poorly maintained. The room is way overpriced for what it is, I paid around 100 euros for one night. This wouldn't have cost more than 30euros in Nairobi for example. The room was big but the floor was filthy and stained with lots of black patches. The mattresses were falling off the bed frame and the sheets had a bad smell and kept falling off the mattress. There was also no restaurant or mini market right next to the hotel. According to the owner, the mini mart was just a 5-minute walk but it took at least 15 minutes to get there walking along a busy road that barely had any walking path. The only saving grace of the hotel is the pool, and even then it's really small and doesn't feel clean either.
Cons: There was generally a bad smell in the room and the air conditioning barely worked. The kitchen and bathroom were also very basic and didn't look clean at all. The people who run this place obviously don't take pride in their property. I don't understand how anyone can have the cheek to charge this much for such a rundown place.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Pool is super..beach great for snorkelling.saw lion fish ..eel..supermarkets fair walk away..upgraded fridge ,cutlery and cooker.
Cons: Very strong Wee smell on entering room..old uncomfortable furniture.pots and pans old and sticky .very noisy road..weekend parties go on all night..tv sound very weak..lot of upgrades needed.
7.1 Good
Pros: Close to the beach and the airport
Cons: Very far from restaurants

7.0 Good
Pros: Had a suite overlooking ocean -lovely room - good view from balcony - balcony furniture well designed and comfy pool/restaurant area was stylish- high up overlooking bay - had a tree house quality spa was good quality Staff were efficient and friendly and the front office manager Ludovic Gabindram was excellent - a real star
Cons: pool area could have benefitted from umbrellas for shade also from a pool person to put the covers on the beds ( we were rather out of season though - Jan 28 to feb 2) also some of the daytime music had a strong techno base beat which wasn't condusive to relaxing - especially as the average age appeared around 50 - I complained and this is now being addressed also quite a climb to pool restaurant from the rooms which I think needs to be made clearer on the general info fact that you had to go to reception ( again a steep walk ) to get pool towels and deposit towels was irksome - didn't make sense . breakfast was good and the lunch time menu also we didn't have a package and was unfortunate that apart from the first night there was no a la carte at night just the set menu at 40 euros each which we didn't always want. buggies driven by staff to get you around were uusally pretty easy to get but big disadvantage is that when you want to go back up to the rooms/resort from the bottom of the hill where main road and beach is .. there is no way of calling for a buggy apart from physically calling reception on your cell phone - they could do with an internal extension in the gate house
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every single thing about the resort and the stuff were extremely nice
Cons: The room service stops at 17.30
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very large with an excellent view. The facilities were very good and we particularly liked the shower window overlooking the sea . The balcony had plenty of furniture and was very comfortable. Very few mosquitoes around. The pools were both wonderful especially the bottom pool which was nearly always deserted but was wonderful when you had left the beach and were contemplating the steep walk back up the hill to the rooms.
Cons: Might have been nice if the souvenir shop was extended to sell items such as snorkles and even fresh milk as very few shops around.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Clean
Cons: Staff especially receptionist. He was very rude and the most unwelcoming we have ever experienced.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Room
Cons: - Internet, it has to be logged in by hotel’s receptionist in a very rude attitude on each device you might have. - unwelcoming and very rude receptionist, who claims to be manager.

Cons: Location is a little far but not that an issue
7.9 Good
Pros: The people who run the place are really amazing. They are very helpful and kind. They knew we were on our honeymoon and decorated the room very nicely and even had a present for us on top of the welcome package.
Cons: The location is in a beautiful place, near beautiful beaches but is only reachable by car. I'm not sure if there was a bus line as well. Anyway, the road is narrow and steep so be careful, especially in the dark.
9.6 Excellent

Cons: Pool size could have been larger.

Cons: The power supply was quite unstable. Every day or night we had a power failure - sometimes for a couple of hours.
7.9 Good
Pros: Amazing views from the rooms.. The best in our Seychelles trip.. The beach is very nice... Although the 2 days we stayed. The sea . was unusually little rough.. Otherwise excellent beach right next to property.. The steep walk up the hill..if you are with kids... can get a little challanging... However once you are up.. the views are spectacular...
Cons: The hotel is getting little old and requires some upgrades.. Specially in washrooms.. Wifi signals not strong enough to reach the room we stayed in... So we had to goto lobby to use internet
9.0 Excellent

Cons: could have been a restaurant with a narrow but good menu.

8.0 Excellent

Cons: If you want the view you have to climb:) The road to the hotel is a bit steep and there is a staircase to the rooms.
7.1 Good
Pros: Spaceous room. Bed ok to sleep. Hot shower. AC works. Location peaceful, beach close by.
Cons: No other food available than breakfast - when the nearest restaurant is closed, difficult to get food without a car. Nothing special but everything works. Expensive compared to quality and services. Friendly staff and nice cats.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The environment and view was nice
Cons: The internet was very bad. Complained to the staff's twice, nothing was done about it. I couldn't Skype with my families or watch any movie online. Very dry and lonely holiday!
