Pros: Rooms were clean and spacious. Complimentary continental breakfast was probably the best I've had. Staff was helpful and friendly- from the front desk to the kitchen to the guy who brought the crib to the room.

Pros: Quaint and charming! Really a gem for the price, decent location, lovely grounds, well maintained. A wonderful breakfast was served every morning with wide selection of items both hot and cold. Room was small but very charming, New Mexican decode old hacienda theme.

Pros: The room was ok. But I can not say a lot of good here.
Cons: The front counter staff should be replaced. They were not happy with there job. While I was at front desk, I heard two other people complain as well. Air conditioner was very loud. Pool area was not clean. Did not get towels as asked for. Coffee was lousy.

Cons: Bathroom and room were dirty. Room smelled bad. Parking lot in bad shape, stains all over the stairwells. Drains were clogged. Couldn't shower. This place is in a steep decline.

Pros: the room was good for the price. two queen beds, good shower pressure, microwave, refrigerator, new flat screen, $150 for two nights for four adults, including all taxes. good value. the place needs some TLC and an upgrade in staff. apparently, this is happening. the place changed its name from whitten inn to the el camino, right after we pulled in.
Cons: didn't even make up our room after the first night. no clean towels, no service. told front desk. the excuse was one of the cleaning ladies hit the skids or something. he was going to make a note of it and get right on it. nobody ever showed to clean the room. probably should ask for a refund for the second night.

Cons: Desk Staff assigned us to a room, there was a person in it. Went back to the desk, was assigned another room with same results. Felt completely unsafe and canceled the reservation and left.

Cons: No one was at counter when we arrived; extended wait time for someone to show up to get room keys. Some furniture in the room literally falling apart. Kids/adults running around outside rooms & in parking area all night long talking, shouting, and making lots of noise.

Cons: Everything! It was so bad, It was hard for me to touch anything in the room and to even shower. Disgusting all the way around. Kayak should be ashamed to represent such an awful place!

Pros: This hotel is priced much lower than others that I've stayed at in Taos and is very comparable when it comes to cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and the property is very well kept. A great find for the price!
Cons: Rooms are a bit outdated and the beds were somewhat uncomfortable. Then again, this can be expected for the rate so I don't really view it as a negative item.

Pros: It had a sort of funky fifties resort vibe. The room was large.
Cons: The maid service was uneven. We stayed four days, and two days it was well done, while the other two, the soap was removed but not replaced (who throws away soap after one use, anyway?), insufficient drinking glasses were left, towels were left, but not in the bathroom. Odd. Also, the AC fan failed. Fortunately, this being Taos, it wasn't unbearable. There was a major pothole developing in the drive connecting to the back section, where we stayed.
