Stay at the Kings Manson. It's a three story walk up (after a flight of stairs). The entire building smells like a kitchen, because, there is a restaurant on the first floor with obviously inadequate ventilation. Window was open when we arrived. When we tried to close it, screw was stripped making it very difficult to close. Toilet kept kicking on and was so loud we had to cut the water just to get to sleep. Front desk seemed unconcerned when I told them about it during checkout.

Pros (+) We stayed at the Tarrytown house estate on Christmas Eve and really enjoyed our stay. There were hardly any other guests on poreprty, we gotta a very good price for the night, and we woke up to a White Christmas overlooking the hudson!

Pros (+) It was a nice location and beautiful property.
Cons (-) It was impossible to find the room and the map was poorly labeled. So many buildings and parking lots. Very challenging to navigate. Rooms were rather basic for the cost of the room per night.
