Best of all is its proximity to downtown, and being in the centre of Chinatown (if you like shopping). Staff tried to be of help but it is not easy when there is no front desk. It is better if you call/text in advance for someone to check you in. The A/C had an issue during my stay (it was around 30% but they managed to provide a fan and install a portable A/C. Pros (+) The guy who sat on the porch was very nice
Cons (-) Rundown, spray painted building at the end of an alley. It's a low end hostel at best. Creeky futon bed frame with thin mattress pad was unpleasant. The room had a window hole without a window that they just stuffed a pillow in to keep the critters out. Glue traps for squirrels mice and birds covered the floor under the bed.
