Overview

Just steps from the historic centre of Tours, the Relais St Eloi, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, Tours, France, is a comfortable base with bright rooms, secure parking, a bar, and meeting facilities, well suited to both leisure and business stays in the heart of the Touraine. The central setting keeps the old town, the riverside, and the city's restaurants within an easy walk, and the bright rooms and meeting spaces make an uncomplicated place to settle in, whether the visit is for sightseeing or for work in the Touraine. Tours is the gateway to chateau country, its medieval quarter wrapped around the Place Plumereau, its cathedral and gardens close, and the Loire flowing past on its way through a valley dotted with the Renaissance chateaux of Chambord, Chenonceau, and Amboise and the gardens of Villandry a short drive out among the vineyards. The old town, the river, and the chateau country all begin at the door.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's convenient location and friendly service. However, many were disappointed by the breakfast, especially due to ongoing renovations that led to makeshift in-room options rather than a proper breakfast room. Cleanliness and room size received mixed feedback, with some finding rooms comfortable and clean, while others noted issues. Overall, the hotel is seen as a good base for exploring the city, but improvements are needed in breakfast and some facilities.
