Cons: The area around the hotel seems a bit questionable...not sure why. There were a few characters that wandered in while i was working in the lobby...Just a bit of caution

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Best Western Town & Country Lodge had friendly staff, clean facilities, close to food and shopping, easy highway access, spacious rooms, lots of parking. There was a bar inside that stayed open until 10 so you could get a beer of finger food after a long day.
Cons: No real complaints. The only improvement would be keep the bar open an hour longer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast there excellent! Waffles, fruit, and much more options.
Cons: Beds little hard. And if the could make available milk to drink not just for cereal my kids would have been happier.

Cons: Some neighbors were super loud
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good basic, clean hotel. Good breakfast selections.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome very good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great.....close to the interstate and places to eat. The room was ok, but nothing great.
Cons: It seemed like the head of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed. Had to put pillows under the mattress to raise the head of the bed. A lot of pets stay in this hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Bed was too soft
7.4 Good
Pros: As BW's go this one meets standards in room cleanliness and bed comfort. It was quiet and the staff was mostly cordial. Hot breakfast was just as good as Apple Annie's down the street so take advantage of that built in cost.
Cons: This is too far away from Kings Canyon and The Sequioa Nationa Park 1 hour and thirty minutes. Wenthoughtbit was close by the description - should have checked map first. My mom left her cane in her room and realized it before we headed out of town. We called and asked if housekeeping had turned it in at around 2:30pm. The front desk told her no and to check back in a few hours. We ate lunch and then drove back to hotel and the desk said no one turned it in - we only went one place Before she realized she didn't have it - it was in the room but never made it to lost and found.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very clean and quiet. Great breakfast. Staff was very helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get to friendly staff close to dinning

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walk ability - super clean - spacious
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The staff here is so friendly, and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is top notch. They provided us with a list of restaurants in the area, and what their favorites were, and answered all my questions. Room set up was nice too, when my daughter went to sleep, I went into the separate sitting area where there is a second t.v. So I didn't wake her up. Good value for what you get and close to everything in Downtown.
Cons: The only downside to this Hotel is there is no pool or spa. We had to go to the Hampton Inn up the freeway. But it was zero hassle from the staff there to use their pool area.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Easy check in, reserved parking, free breakfast.
Cons: I was charged $25 extra upon check in I initially thought it may have just been a charge from the hotel for tax that may have not been included in the final kayak bill. But after reading my kayak confirmation and reading that NO EXTRA FEES OR CHARGES WILL BE ADDED UPON CHECK IN, I contacted the front desk and was told they couldn't do anything about it it was basically KAYAKS fault for sending them the wrong room rate and I would have to take that up with kayak. So I contacted kayak and was told that the hotel gave me the wrong information. Kayak sends the same conformation letter that I received and my room rate should not have been changed. They asked if they could put me on hold so that they can contact the hotel and get it straighten out. They returned rather quickly and said I should be receiving my refund and receipt from the hotel within a few days. So other than the hotel trying to get a few extra bucks from me. I really appreciate kayak and their quick professional manner in resolving the issue.
2.2 Mediocre
Cons: Very noisy & slow elevator. Toilet seat not secure in the room or even in the lobby. Breakfast removed and/or empty before it was time to be over. Staff at front desk did nothing to get bathroom in room repaired during our six day stay. Told to try other floors and find a working ice machine - tried 3 floors before finding a working unit. Unsafe parking area - false sense of security with a gate to go in - yet public can drive in from a side entrance.

Pros: Bathroom felt somewhat spacious compared to the actual room.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had all the amenities to make it a pleasant stay. The staff were courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It was a pleasurable experience.
Cons: Being 4 1/2 miles from town was some what of an inconvenience.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: lots of additional facilities available for guests, room was clean and we were able to get additional blankets for the pull out bed. Air conditioning worked well, the room was suitable for four guests
Cons: The bathroom shower had very little water pressure; it was like someone didn't put a shower head on it, and instead designed a very tall bathroom sink. The water got hot though, so that was less to complain about.
5.1 OK
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: We were given a room on the 5th floor unfortunately it happened to be right under the air conditioner compressor that's on the roof! There was not one moment of silence in that room it sounded like there was a large fan blowing in the room at all times! I called downstairs to make a complaint and they told us they were completely sold out and could not change rooms. So they put our name on the list to see if we could change rooms the next day. We were going to be out all day and we didn't want to bother waiting to move all of our stuff. Besides, I would feel bad giving that bad room to anyone else and getting stuck with it. My advise, DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 524!! Worst stay ever!
7.4 Good
Cons: Bed was terrible old shower and bathroom. Over priced.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice restaurant connected with friendly staff and great food
Cons: Not much not to like, good stay
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. It was a great value for the money.
6.8 Good
Pros: Housekeeping staff is very courteous and did a good job cleaning my room. The in house service for food was really good as well.
Cons: There was hardly ever front desk staff so when I checked out there was no one present to give the room key to. A staff member happened to walk by and I asked and they just brushed me off and said I could leave the key on the desk. Also when I was checking in the front desk clerk was not too friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed everything about it and would stay there again.
Cons: Nothing
4.2 OK
Pros: The bed. Nice and firm.
Cons: The room was in a horrible location. It was stuffy and humid in the room. Never stay there if you want fresh air.

Pros: It's an older hotel but I would have spent an extra 10 to have a thermostat at a regular spot.
Cons: Doesn't seem like they care about comfort. It could be a decent place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious rooms. Beautiful landscape. Friendly hotel staff.
Cons: I liked everything.
4.8 OK
Cons: Noise throughout the night coming from outside our door - people joking and smoking followed by a car alarm that repeatedly started going off around 4am. Worst night/morning ever.
6.8 Good
Pros: The price was fair and reasonable. The internet was free and front staff was very courteous and pleasant and let me stay a couple hours longer than my required checkout. The bed was also really comfortable.
Cons: The rooms were outdated. The cleaning manager had knocked on my door after l had a Do Not Disturb sign she was unaware that I had an extended check out. It was disturbing because I was in the middle of a meeting for work. Maybe she should have checked with the front desk first instead of making me open the door. Also quite a bit noisy in the early morning hours with the cleaning.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was beautifully landscaped and very relaxing. We bought takeout for dinner and sat poolside. Rooms are comfortable and for the price it is an excellent find. The diner was an excellent choice for breakfast!
6.3 Good
Pros: It was convienent for the function we were attending.
Cons: The room had a tub and shower combo, but no way to plug the tub if you wanted to take a bath. We have stayed here before and the room we had before had a refrigerator, this one did not. The TV was kinda small for a place like this one.
4.2 OK
Cons: The room was very run down. The shower had no water pressure to take a decent show. The shower head was so low you had to squat to try and wash your hair. The water knobs were falling apart. The door knob to the room wiggled and was loose, felt like if we pulled it shut it was going to fall off. The facility was clean but very run down. We were disappointed with our three day stay. Would never stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The place was charming and definitely value for money
Cons: The restaurant, never knew pork chops could be that bad :(
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Grounds are well kept, location great and the restaurant served a top rate breakfast.

Pros: I liked the Queen beds, the large rooms, fridge, microwave, continental breakfast, hot tub.
Cons: The food supply for the continental breakfast was not kept up during breakfast hours. We asked for more towels after all our dirty ones were taken and weren't replaced by clean ones.

Pros: We appreciated the size of the suite, the comfort of the bed, the swimming pool and the fact that it was clean and there were enough towels for the two of us (including spcial towels provided for the people going to the swimming pool)
Cons: The noise was terrible: the hotel is located right next to the highway. The breakfast was desgusting, so American: no fresh fruit, just greasy meet and artificial cereals. There wasn"t much choice and the few we got wasn't our taste.

Pros: Decent hotel for an overnight stay.
Cons: The front desk attendant was a bit overwhelmed with a problem guest but she was able to help us while dealing with them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, courteous as usual. The breakfast was ample, menu was varied (One day potatoes, the other, biscuits & gravy-both with eggs) plus waffles, cereals, fruits, muffins, etc. Room was spotless; amenities provided. Have stayed here a number of times, over the last two years, and find it very satisfactory. It's convenient to where we needed to be for business, and close by to shopping and dining when off duty. It's also "just" off the freeway, so it's quieter than if adjacent to the highway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great...walk across to IHOP for meals...breakfast served was excellent..the staff are friendly and helpful...special mention to Jessica and Maria...and the housekeeper who graciously taught us old crows how to get the hair dryer going again with a simple push of the reset button (lol)....will definitely stay there again and recommend...
Cons: nothing.

Pros: Air conditioning worked well.

6.0 Good
Pros: It is conveniently the located near the Tulare Outlets, walking distance to most major department stores, lot of fast food stores, grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The pool is very nice. I really enjoyed my stay here. I will stay here again. I wouldn't mind staying here for a whole month.
Cons: The fact that it was supposed to have Wi-Fi and didn't have it. That was false advertisement. Could not use my laptop. Oh well !! Even though I asked in the front desk. It never happened !! But for the value, what you expect ?? It was the most economical rate for me in the area. I was here for a whole week. I

Pros: There was hair all over the bathroom floor. It didn't feel like it was thoroughly cleaned after the last guest. I would have asked to be switched to a different room but it was sold out & it was10:00 pm. It was very noisy as well. Our room was in front of the ice machine. There was a lot of traffic even after 10 pm. As well as the neighbors above us. Which I understand can't always be helped. We had a restless night.

Pros: Lobby was cute and remodeled.... So I was hoping for the best... Wrong. Room #1, roaches... Room #2, roaches. Took 2 days after leaving to get a refund. Don't stay here...

Pros: I was not expecting the room to be as nice as it was. Clean, it had a modern layout feel to it and a decent tv. Bathroom was comfortable and there was a pool if you wanted to use it.
Cons: The parking sitch could have been better and the one way street it was on made it a hassle to get back to the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent one night there for $66 after a trip from Sequoia National Park. It was good. There are mini fridge and microwave in the room. The two queen-beds are comfort. The room was clean. I would recommend you to stay there. Check-in and check-out were quick.

Cons: No shampoo or conditioner
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The Motel was at the end of there remodelation stage and the room that I stayed in was completely remodeled with new everything. .Very nice room from what Motel 6 is usually known for.
Cons: Didnt like that when I walked in to office clerk asked for my last name for my reservation and as im giving it, im cut off so that she can start a conversation with other staff member. She asked again, so I gave her my I.D. She walks off and starts talking to someone at counter about personal stuff instead of doing her job.... I went to sit down and waited for her to finish her gossip so I can get my room.

Cons: Staff and ownet
6.8 Good
Pros: Pros: Hotel was clean and safe. 24-hour check-in. Hotel had been renovated in the last five years (which you don't always get for a hotel in this price category). AC worked well (which was important; it was pretty hot!) Pleasant staff. Hotel is conveniently across the street from a Starbucks, sub sandwich shop, and many other convenient stores and pharmacies. Hotel is about 45 min from the Foothills entrance to Sequoia National Park. It's about 1.5-2 hours from the General Grant Tree, Lodgepole Base, Big Tree Museum, etc., since these are in the interior of the park. Overall, this hotel was only $65, and it was clean and safe, so you could do a lot worse!!
Cons: Cons: Included breakfast was not too good. Unhealthy, starchy options; coffee was really poor. Also, this hotel is evidently really trying to save money -- there were lots of signs all over warning you of extra fees if you get the towels too dirty, or remove them from the room during the day (say, to go swimming in the many nearby swimming holes). They tried to save so much money that they unplugged every lamp and even the fridge during the day. This was frustrating when we came back to the room with sandwiches one night. We wanted to put them in the fridge to bring them hiking the next day, but the fridge had been unplugged and was warm inside, and would take many hours to get cool again. So we had to throw our sandwiches away. :-( Same thing with putting breakfast items in your room -- it's tricky, because fridge will be unplugged during the day.
6.3 Good
Pros: I liked its location within the city limits , close to all the restaurants and other facilities. It was within walking distance of many shopping areas.
Cons: The first two nights of my stay there were hotel guests staying there ., that made alot of noise both night , they were young guests , that started around 11pm and continued until after 3am , outside their rooms, laughing and talking loudly, keeping me awake. It was very disturbing and not very restful.
4.0 OK
Pros: near parking
Cons: swim pool area was dirty
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were as expected, very clean and comfortable with great air conditioning.
5.0 OK
Pros: Close to the main roads, TV, Microwave & fridge available on each room
Cons: Air-conditioning very loud, you could hear every step of the people in the room above yours, poor breakfast
5.3 OK
Pros: Quick check-in and check-out, fridge, free parking, free wi-fi, clean room.
Cons: Although it is good, that there is an air conditioner in the room, it is extremely noisy. Room door was too thin and unreliable to give you the feeling of safety.
6.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Good location for 1 day visit of Sequoia and King Canyon national parks. Very close by walk to "The Hometown Buffet" (just cca 500 m), where are served every Friday and Saturday very nice steaks!
4.8 OK
Pros: Cheap, convenient place ... within driving distance from the Sequoia & Kings Natl. Parks. You get what you pay for ;-)
Cons: There was some road construction just outside the motel - quite noisy but I'm sure that's just temporary
2.4 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. It was awful!!!!
Cons: Everything. It was really dirty, noisy and situated in a dangerous street.
3.2 Mediocre
Pros: nothing relly attractive
4.0 OK
Pros: The price was right. The sheets and pillow cases were clean. Night Staff was helpful.
Cons: It was a basic motel room. Facilities are in need of maintenance/upgrade: paint, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, vanity & sink, shower head, toilet but for $60.00 a nite it was just ok. Parking was very limited - small spaces. I was glad I wasn't in a bigger vehicle. Minimal breakfast choices.
