5.4 Okay
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: No soap provided Bathroom set up in those plastic boxes is really weird
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: On the automated checki in neither Visa nor Master Goldcard ( ADAC -Landesbank Berlin )were accepted and had to find cash to get in.
4.6 Okay
Pros: kinda in a no mans land at the edge of town. lots of empty shopping centers, utilitarian fine.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice, clean and quiet.
Cons: All good.
6.7 Good
Pros: The shower was powerful and hot.
Cons: We booked a disabled room and requested this again when we checked in. I believe something must have been lost in translation because this certainly wasn't suitable for disabled guests such as myself. The room was uncomfortable with no chairs to sit on, just an upturned bucket which goes for seating in these hotels; the room was small but sufficed for one night and we felt let down by not being given the disabled room we had booked.
7.0 Good
Pros: Stopped on way back to UK. Set in industrial shopping area. Short drive to the town, which is well worth a visit! Well placed for history or shopping. Automated check in. Everything as expected. Surrounded
Hotelf1 Verdun - Verdun - Building

6.3 Good (1,086 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The hotelF1 Verdun, located 1.2 miles (2 km) from the city center, is within easy reach of the finest tourist attractions: the Citadelle Souterraine underground galleries and Maison Braquier, famous for its sugared almonds. The Douaumont battlefields, for t, and ossuary and the Verdun Memorial are just 3.1 miles (5 km) away. The hôtelF1 Verdun is your smart choice for accommodations: refurbished rooms for 1, 2, or 3 people, flatscreen TVs, and free WIFI. All-you-can-eat breakfast!
6.7 Good
Cons: Restroom and Shower aren’t that nice. Like festival style
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was a cheap option for a one night stop on our journey. The simple breakfast was OK, though it would have been nice to have plates! There are a number of restaurants all within walking distance.
Cons: Our room was right above the main entrance where everyone went to smoke, meaning the smoke and smell came up into our room. There are no air conditioners and with the temperature we needed to have the window open. The beds were not made when we arrived so we had to make them ourselves. The toilet facilities are shared and can only be compared with those on a train or airplane. The shower was similar - overall using the shared facilities was not a pleasant experience. Other guests on our floor were talking and generally loud well into the night. The photos shown did not match where we stayed - they appear to be from a different hotelF1 somewhere else.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Notthing but please towels need to be in the room and available for the guests !
Cons: No welcome no one waiting the guest
6.3 Good
Pros: F1 are openly budget hotels offering basic accommodation . They do exactly what they say they do. No frills basic accommodation
Cons: Probably too basic for me. Didn’t like shared bathroom facilities. No towels provided. Need to provide own or but which came as a surprise
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the Buffalo Grill ;) The hostess was very sweet and helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well priced
Cons: Shared bath rooms
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This an F1 Hotel so not really a normal hotel. You get what you get i.e. a room with a bed and screen -shared bathroom facilities. At first I was a bit surprised at how basic it was but then I realised it worked. Check in after 9:00 is with credit card at a machine outside the door. It gives you a code to get in and for your room.
Cons: No towel provided - had to buy one for €3.
6.7 Good
Pros: Basic needs met
Cons: Typical F1 fare with a basic breakfast and shared shower facilities etc Pratical and cheap. Serves a purpose

Pros: Very good parking and set back from the main road. Our room was on the back side and quiet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is superb. Very cozy and intimate place. Our hosts did everything to make us feel like we are home. They even drive me with their car to the service in town to pick up my car. Excellent French cuisine. The perfect place for a romantic escapade or just to stay 2-3 days to relax.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Parking.
Cons: Very basic breakfast. Not even a slice of ham. Very small room.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Restaurant closed, no breakfast until after 8, nobody at reception in the morning to check out. Very basic room but the shower was ok
Cons: No food available, very dated decoration, basic room, mattress didn’t fit the bed. Needs updating
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find good location Nice stuff and clean room
Cons: All was good
6.3 Good
Pros: Convenient location, clean bed linen, low price, staff friendly. Shower had massive flow of hot water. Parking no problem. Only a few minutes from motorway.
Cons: Room was freezing (December), had to turn heater to maximum and still wasn’t warm next morning, room stank of stale tobacco, breakfast started at 8:00am but nobody there until 8:01am and then they had to set up so we couldn’t eat before 8:15am and then we had to ask for milk and knives! Room heater was filthy and full with spider webs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: highly recommend.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was well priced and reasonably located with regards to the centre of Verdun (when travelling by car).
Cons: The stay was not bad at all, but most amenities were not so great. The hall and bedroom looked like they were painted during the last time purple was a good color in badly lit hotels. Breakfast was rather frugal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room good. On ground floor as requested. Hi
Cons: Nothing hot at breakfast. Sausage, eggs, toast
7.5 Good
Pros: breakfast was excellent!
Cons: Their restaurant was closed on Sunday but the one across the roundabout - La Gargotte - was excellent!
Citotel Du Tigre - Verdun - Building
5
7.3 Good (1,054 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Verdun, Citotel Du Tigre is within a 5-minute drive of Monument de la Victoire and Mémorial de Verdun. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It is a 2 star hotel around 15 min from the centre of town. Park the car and it is a nice walk . Good as a base to look at the Verdun conflict in the WW1
Cons: Position
5.8 Okay
Pros: Free parking on site, easy check in, a reasonably comfortable bed and clean small bathroom.
Cons: The attic room felt a bit stuffy and the skylight interior blind seemed broken. The property is terribly dated and in need of some serious investment to make it presentable. The breakfast (@ 8 euro each) is uninspiring, and so overpriced it is almost laughable. Don't bother adding that extra cost to your stay.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel was ok. The rooms were adequate for our needs but nothing more.
Cons: The hotel was further out of town than I thought but that might be my fault. the breakfast should have been a bit better I think - it was very basic. The bar in the hotel was closed - we were told that there had been a function the night before and they had run out of beer. I don't believe this for a minute - it doesn't take much to arrange for a supply of beer. I think it was near the end of the season and they did not want to bring staff in. The hotel missed out on a decent amount of income there as there were 10 adult males who like a drink or two in our party. Instead this was spent in the town. There did not seem to be any bars/restaurants nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was very helpful with directions, connections, etc.
7.0 Good
Pros: This hotel is a good place to stay if you are interested in history. It is well placed out of the town of Verdun but close enough for a short taxi ride in for your evening meal/daytime shopping/exploring etc. The hotel provides a large self serve breakfast with unlimited tea/coffee etc.
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable hotel, no food in the evening, basic bar facility, breakfast was good plenty of parking.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The lobby and breakfast area were clean.
Cons: The rooms were very dated. The bathroom did not at all match the pictures on their site. The shower was very small, full of mold/mildew, and barely worked. The second double bed in the family room was in a loft with a crude metal ladder (which was not advertised). The whole room smelled of mildew.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Planning an event in Verdun? This hotel has facilities measuring 968 square feet (90 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was a little outside of the town which was okay, but may pose a problem when it comes to getting around town. Staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, especially with their little English and our little french. Word to everyone going to join them, they would like you to dress for dinner (business casual) so plan accordingly
Cons: The buses in town do not run on Sundays or national holidays (we came in on a Sunday and were there for Remembrance day) so mobility is a bit of a challenge. Walking works, if you can/want to spend 30-40 minutes walking into town.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were alway polite and although they didn’t speak much English they tried to be attentive and made sure that I wasn’t in need of anything. All in all a great stay. I would have stayed longer but they were fully booked.
Cons: The location was a little bit difficult to get to, however if you value peace and quiet then this is the place for you.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean bedroom with very new shower and bathroom. Nice crisp white sheets. Staff very friendly and a good continental breakfast.
Cons: We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had entrecôte steak but it was a bit too fatty for our taste. The other courses were good.
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location for Verdun battlesite visits. Had a restaurant which was a plus on a wet Sunday night.
Cons: Small room but comfortable for a short stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good staff, friendly, bathroom good.
Cons: Breakfast ok but not exciting
7.9 Good
Pros: Food was great and the pool most welcome after an 8 day rainy bike trip
Cons: Our first room smelt very damp so got another which also smelt damp so the receptionist came and checked and agreed both rooms smelt so we got a third room which was fine
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were clean (and small) and are best described as plain. Service was excellent and the food and the service in the restraint were both excellent. Outstanding menu well priced. No wonder it is a favorite for business travelers in Verdun area.
Cons: Rooms in need of remodeling
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy to get to, good location. Best bathroom and shower in the country!!! Good bed, and very clean room. We reserved aa larger room and it was worth it. Previous stays have been a bit cramped.
Cons: This property is a bit aged. Needs some TLC. The smaller rooms are really small, especially for a Logis! In house restraint is very nice, and tours are separated from guests dining room. They do not serve before 7pm, so do not expect an early supper.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location to the battlefields. Good food and quiet evenings.
7.5 Good
Cons: rooms too small and very basic

Cons: The pillows were a little thin but everything else with the room was great.

Pros: Right next to downtown, but on the backside of the main road so very quiet with minimal noise from outside. Decent if basic breakfast. Great service. Recently remodeled, it appears, so everything feels new and comfortable.
Cons: Parking is a little ways away (<5 minute walk), but there really is no way around that in a town like Verdun. While there isn't a lot of noise from outside, the walls aren't super insulated, so you can hear your neighbors if they aren't quiet. However, during our stay the guests were all well behaved after settling in, so we had no issues.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Our second visit to Hotel Montaulbain and it was as comfortable and welcoming as I remember. The rooms are large by European standards and the staff couldn’t be nicer.
Cons: A note for people who find difficulty with stairs. There are no rooms on the ground floor and no lifts, so ask for a room on the 1st floor, if possible.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, nice room , good breakfast, classy for a 3 star hotel
Cons: You have to park 3 blocks away at public parking. Hotel is on narrow street, more suitable for those without cars.
