Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, making it convenient for exploring Winchester and accessing transport. The staff received high marks for friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Many guests found the rooms clean and comfortable, though some mentioned issues with room size and bathroom cleanliness. The historic building's charm was appreciated, but the steep, narrow staircases and lack of an elevator posed challenges for those with mobility issues. The absence of air conditioning led to discomfort during hot weather, and some bathrooms were noted as small or in need of maintenance. Overall, the positives of location, service, and cleanliness stood out most.
