The peak season of November to April is the ideal time to visit Karon, when the weather is warm and sunny and the sea is crystal clear. From May to October, Thailand's rainy season, there can be dangerous currents in the water. Karon is most famous for its stunning five kilometre stretch of fine white sand resting next to the blue and turquoise sea.
