However, most visitors travel from February to April, when the pre-Easter celebrations are in full swing all the way until Mardi Gras. In addition, New Orleans' annual Jazz Fest takes place every spring. June to September often brings hot and humid weather to Louisiana, with a threat of storms and even hurricanes.
