There was no option in the booking search function to specify an AWD or 4WD . We were flying into Colorado to go skiing. We got upsold for US$40 per day to an AWD. Really had no choice at that point. Typical rug pull experience with these cheaper brands. Booked the premium, wasn’t even offered the premium option when picking up. When I told the desk worker I actually booked the premium, I got a rehearsed “oh, it won’t be ready for another 45 minutes”. No explanation, no apology, just continued checking out with the base model. Shuttle system is dated and very infrequent. I was quoted $86 but was charged $297. The deposit was $400 and I was told when car is returned with no damage all extra charges will be removed to get my quoted price on kayak but it only went down to $297. I have called their office several times but no one is picking up.Reviewed 1 Nov 2024

Disappointed they did not have ANY cars in the class I booked which was compact suv. They do not have Any Toyotas on the lot. Had a TON of Jeep Cherokee vehicles that they tried to "upgrade" me to. I specifically booked a compact suv for gas/mpg purposes. So instead I had to settle for a sedan, which I was not happy about. Also, no where in booking did it say cars can only drive to states that touch/ border Colorado. However, there is a sign at the counter that displays that information as the cars have GPS & you will be fined $500+ if you go beyond those restrictions.
