Hidden costs - bewareCons:We called Ace in Mexico to confirm the options for liability insurance, and were quoted a certain price and told that it was optional. When we arrived, the price was double and were told it was not an option. So just factor this in to your costs!Reviewed 8 Apr 2018

No cars available when we arrived, even though we had reservationPros:They said they had no cars when we arrived. Rented convertible and ended up having to take whatever car was returned while we sat waiting for someone to return a car. Horrible experienceCons:The fact that the rep didn’t care at all when he gave us the news that there were not only no convertibles which we had a reservation for. Didn’t get car we bookedPros:NadaCons:Agents gave us a Yaris instead of convertible and over charged us. Knowing we could do nothing. Very sleazy way of doing business. I would not recommend them You should rent from some one in the airport too not have to take shuttle. It was a pain and then left us with no other options.Reviewed 3 Jan 2018

Beware serious swindling!Cons:You get to the agency and they tell you you have to pay $40 more per day in personal injury insurance and you have no choice. So what was quoted at $124 ends up being $500! It was happening to everyone there. Nothing in the material we received indicated this could happen. Terrible.Reviewed 1 Jan 2018

In this case ACE is the lowest car(d)Pros:I got a carCons:Their staff while nice are very poorly trained. Apparently can’t help you with anything as far as getting you the right car giving you a discount for having you leave in overall satisfied manner. Just know that in Mexico they will not except any insurance outside of Mexico no matter what kind you have.Reviewed 29 Dec 2017
