Stuff is kind.
No breakfast included in price
friendly staff very expensive for breakfast
it has free parking and there was a very nice, modern design and comfort hotel for all the hotel was far from the city center. internet access and some of favorite pay TV channels was very expensive
Location was decent if you are travelling to amsterdam arena
Convenient to RAI. Uncomfortable beds, antique hair dryers, slow and slight erratic elevators, long lines in reception, slow and error-prone room service
the room looks very nice :) The hotel served a variety of delicious and fresh breakfast. My friends and I enjoyed the stay there! A little far from city center.
Breakfast No communication on parking option next to the hotel (much cheaper than Novotel)
Near convention centre Expense
Green apples at the reception too cold, and staff took a long time to process an already paid service for 5 people.
free internet access through hotel computer. restaurant open in the evening with decent choice of menu and good food; hotel staff's willingness to accomodate my room requests
Prompt/friendly reply from reception in case of questions Knocking/calling from housekeeping despite 'do not disturb' sign.
Staff were pleasent and the rooms were clean. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was good and over a long period. In comparison to other local hotels the value couldn't be matched. Quite a long trip into the centre of town. The single beds were immediately adjacent and couldn't easily be moved apart, not great for sharing with a friend
It's quiet and relatively closed to mass transit. Some of the front desk staff were not helpful. They refused to make a call to schedule the airport shuttle bus for us.
the position was good, tram to centre very nearby, could park for free in service road outside hotel, very comfortable bed felt breakfast could have been better quality, given cost of hotel
Ease of getting into the city of Amsterdam, location Smoke in the bar area, am used to non smoking environment.
The standard and quality of the hotel in general. The rooms were very comfortable. The only issue with the hotel is the distance from central amsterdam but there is a metro station 5 minutes walk up the road which goes to central in about 10-15 minutes. If coming back late then a taxi should not cost more than 20 Euros.
Room was quite spacious and modern, well deserving the star rating. Front desk staff was very helpful. The industrial neighborhood is less than appealing. Far from the city center of Amsterdam.
I could not fault this hotel, it was very comfortable and clean and every member of staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and it is well located with easy access to public transport. I look foward to going back.
The shuttle bus was good but the quality of the hotel need improvement, especially that the room is too small
Helpful, kind, polite staff who really enjoy people and helping you make the most of your stay. The AWESOME breakfast was quite expensive, but still worth the extra Euros.
Very warm welcome at reception No "comfortable" seating around the lounge area !
very convinence to airport
close to hotel, great shuttle service breakfast was not fresh, very poor selection, no fresh juices
cleen, quet, nice very bad location, breakfest was not included (in 82 Eur/night!) for 4* forget about sauna, swimming pool...
free service from the airport rooms are so cold.
It is really comfortable They should change the bed
city maps and tourist guides near the reception.
The ease of the Airport. We were disappointed with the quality as compared with the price. The hotel had a lot of flies that kept going on the food and coffees.
The location is very good, very close to the airport and good shuttle service. Very good bar and restaurant with excellent food and good selection of drinks. Nice, comfortable rooms. Close to great walking, cycling, horse riding trails next to a lake. Did not try the local transport to the city centre, but hotel seems to be very close to main transport routes. No
Clean, good location, 12:00 checkout time Expensive breakfasts (17.50 euros)
Lovely quiet location, friendly staff and good breakfast
Surroundings: near beautiful Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Sice of room, spacious, many windows, good view. Very black dirty stain in corner of bath tub. Beds and pillows are very soft and uncomfortable.
The location is excellent and the area is quite safe and peaceful. Adequate conditions for offered price.
staff excellent walls too thin could here the neighboors
I enjoyed my stay in Plaza VondelPark and the staff were very kindly. is not so close from the touristic areas. In another hand, it has a tram (line 2) stop just about 200 mts distant.
The Staff Being booked out as you were fully booked on first night and lack of restaurant
Easy, friendy, service by staff. They went out of their way to help and offer help. I was late to the hotel (not a problem). I used the shuttle bus to the airport there was a problem but the desk sorted it out for me quickly and efficiently. Banging doors downstairs at 3AM. Probably just a one off, but it woke me up.
I liked the minimalistic, tasty appearance of the hotel lobby and the my room. The bathroom, and especially shower, was very comfortable. I did nok like to have to pat an additional 18.50 euro for breakfast, which was poor value for money.
The shuttle service when it was on schedule and could transport everyone desiring a ride to/from hotel to airport terminals and the few staff that were on duty ...usually weekdays Spotty shuttle service on Weekends due to mismanaging the requirement to transport many guests. I waited 90 minutes for the shuttle that transports folks every 30 minutes and after the third missed shuttle because there were more folks than seats, I spent 30$ on a taxi to "shuttle" me a few miles to the airport hotel....all this after calling them and they said they'd provide a ride - never happened so that's how I waited 90 minutes versus half that time before taking a taxi ....seemed understaffed
Clean and spacious Things felt a little cheaply made.
Wonderful airport hotel. Close to airport, with frequent shuttles to and from the airport. Very convenient for the night before we left!
room size too long to get to central amsterdam. always shuttle and then train from airport to central. need train near hotel. also shuttle shuts off after 12 so I had to pay cab fare twice. also breakfast is super expensive.
I left my purse in the restaurant during breakfast. My husband ran back to get it 2 hours later, the waiter remembered him and had my purse safe and sound with everything in it. He was very nice!!!
Ease of travelling to airport, friendly staff, Professional staff, clean rooms! Wish the breakfast buffet wasn't so pricey
Wonderful facility. Expensive food.
great value for money
Beds we SO comfortable! Hotel food and drinks were quite expensive.
- Clean business style hotel. - Luggage room - The other staff except MR Moriba were friendly helpful and nice. Mr Anand and Mr ha...d were very nice. - We left the luggage for 2 weeks in the hotel and it was safe. - Airport shuttle - publicized on the web description. However the shuttles are far and few only a few times in a day. I picked the hotel for the shuttle... and ended up waiting a long while for the shuttle timing. We could not use the shuttle for our morning flight at 10 am, coz the shuttles only started after 7:30 am. I wish they allowed some flexibiity or at least had the shuttles available on a need basis. - Mr Moriba at the reception was inside leaving the reception unattended at the time of our checkout - we had to get a cab and rush to the airport and ended up waiting for him for 10 mins, had someone at the restaurant go in and look for someone. He was not even apologetic about it. It is not OK to leave the reception unattended. - Mr Moriba charged me some 4 euro in taxes, then said it was autocharged to my credit card, returned the cash.... overall he did not know what he was doing and added to a lot of delay. - Our last night of stay was at the basement - not very comfortable...with only the staff elevator access. The bath did not have a tub, and the water in the flooring overflowed to the entire flooring. Overall, we got an unfair deal with the basement room - it is not ok to charge the same price and give the basement room just coz the rooms are full. This is not what we had asked/ signed up for.
Nice breakfast restaurant Room was not prepared by the maid with the customer in mind. Nothing was replenished by maid. Room needed to be cleaned up much better, prior to arrival.
The location suited our needs, the room was tidy and neat. The breakfast buffet was excellent. No
They retained money from two Credit cards and they kept the hold for more than a week even after paying the whole bill. Awful staff
Close to the METS show at RAI. Close to restaraunts. Very poor WiFi access. Was a transitional period with WiFi providers. Most hotels provide free WiFi. The internet access was expensive.
the location it was v relaxing
The staff at the Wyndham Apollo Hotel were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We ate in the bar one night and the food was lovely.
Nice, clean and large room. Good facilities and decent location.
friendly welcoming staff
Very helpful staff Old, worn armchairs in our room looked very dated.
The room smelled musty, they had packets of tea and coffee but no coffee maker or any way to heat water. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor!
terrace with very beautiful view
Very clean and comfortable room with all amenities. Courteous, professional, friendly and helpful staff. Good location for museums and public transportation to everwhere.
The view from the hotel was superb & the bed was extremely comfortable.
Fast easy check in, nice size room, good breakfast and central location to museums.
The Staff were great The Charge for "Internet " access !!
- Very comfortable bed and pillows - Nice view - Expected a nicer building and more luxurious room - Inadequate for a 5 star hotel (stayed in better 4 star hotels) - Far from city center, few hundreds meters walk to the tram stop - Overpriced, especially minibar and breakfast
Great staff, 10th floor had great view, good breakfast. Location to public transportation not as good as some of the other hotels. Was traveling with girl friends and did not feel comfortable walking to public transport at night. However weather was a factor at this time of year - might have been ok in summer.
Excellent service. Deluxe rooms would be more 4 star rather than 5. The hotel is a quite a distance from the centre of Amsterdam but there is a tram service that is good.
Did not feel it was a 5 star hotel. It was booked for an anniversary surprise and we have stayed in nicer 4 star hotels
The wifi fee of EUR 27 is out of market and not acceptable for a business traveller.
It is a hotel worth staying. The building is very beautiful, the rooms and view very nice. Also the bar at the ground floor is very exquisite. The only drawback is that one has to walk about 10 minutes to the nearest tram stop.
This hotel was in a great location and had very friendly staff. The room set up was a little strange. The bathroom was all glass and lacked privacy. The bed was also placed strangely with the foot of the bed against the wall. This was a very clean hotel, and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
it was close to everything in central amsterdam which is a bonus less walking breakfast could of been of a wider range to suite more traveling people
Lovely hotel, perfect location. The showers in room are glass, with limited frosting. So if you are with your couple then great, or close friends, but if you are sharing with someone you are not so comfortable with these rooms maybe a little "revealing" and slightly uncomfortable. Personally I didnt mind,
The security use of key cards for all access including lifts.Felt safe.
The staff was very accomodating. The rooms were clean, and even though our room was on the busy street, the windows were sufficient to keep out most of the traffic noise.
staff cleanliness, old bathroom, dirty old carpets all over the hotel
very convenient location, clean, secure no problems
I liked the newly renovated Star Rooms. I also liked the location of the hotel. There were many aspects I didn't like: - in room 601 (I stayed there between October 5-October 10, the heating was not working. I asked the reception staff to fix it, and they said the automatic heating system has some problems and there' nothing they can do about it. - I had another reservation for October 11-13. I annouced reception at check-out on Oct 10 that I will be late (around midnight) on October 11. When I arrived on October 11, they gave me a smoking room, which was impossible to breathe in. I asked for a non-smoking room and I've been told that there are no more rooms left, because I arrived very late. I found this offensive, as I announced the hotel two days before that I will be late, not to mention that I also left my luggage in the cloakroom. - after long talks, however, I was given a non-smoking room, with twin beds. It is the worst room I've ever been into, 301, it's like a coffin. Take my advise and don't offer it to other clients ever again. Also, this room was cold, as the heater was barely defrost (after turning it to maximum).
Location, design and decor of the rooms I enjoyed everything and can not fault anything
Nothing Thought the hotel was grim - view from window a corrugated iron sheet. Room dark and unwelcoming. Bathroom very small with sink outside the bathroom. Lift was dirty and smelled like a toilet.
Great hotel in a great location. You are right in the center with a beautiful view. Excellent stuff and service. Great breakfast. Pricy but totally worth the price. Will definitely stay again !
The front desk staff was excellent. The hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was thrilled to stay in a room that was large, clean and very comfortable. Loved the robe, slippers and balcony with view of Amsterdam Centraal! The location was perfect. Hotel is historic so parts of it are older but for the location and price I paid I would absolutely stay here again. Also I ordered a pizza from room service and was amazed. It may have been the best pizza I have ever had!
Perfect spot from which to explore downtown Amsterdam!
the only thing i liked is the reception they are very friendly and helpful the room 302 is bad , the closet is very very small for a double room and the bathroom very small which makes you uncomfertable , and i had to leave the hotel after 6 nights instead 9 nights
The hotel was well located near the central station and around the corner from the main shopping streets. They charge extra for the use of the steamroom. €10.50 per person is outrageous when you have already spent alot to stay in a Hotel that is only average for the money it costs.
It was a very comfortable hotel in a great location. It was very easy to reach from the station/airport as well as being able to walk to many places of interest. The trams were nearby as were the canal trips. It was great value for money and I highly recommend it.
localisation in the city and cleanliness of room
Location, size of rooms, First room I had was below ground level. I'll never take rooms 134 - 138 again.
location facilities/pool/sauna great staff Airco or ventilation was a bit loud, but it wasn't a problem. Soaps and shampoo were in the wc, but no toothpaste. I'd rather have toothpaste than hand cream.
Great staff, ideal location, room clean and well equipped.
Location very central Good breakfast Small room, tiny bathroom Room unclean, dirty carpet: when we first came into the room, there was a bit of paper on the floor. It was not hidden or difficult to get. I left it there on purpose and it stayed there for three days. It was finally removed (vacuumed?)
The location was very convenient and accessible and the staff was very accommodating. Our room was not ready when we arrived nor was it ready when they told us to return. The management responded with an upgrade at a reasonable rate and free drinks at the bar. The rest of the staff was also great. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in our room & the bartender opened our bottle without corkage fees, gave us crystal glasses to drink out of & even gave us some snacks to enjoy, all on the house! Overall a very great experience; we would consider staying there again! The front desk and housekeeping seemed understaffed. There always seemed to be a very long line to check in/out & ask questions. Rooms were not ready when promised although it ended up working in our favor as we received an upgrade & free drinks at the bar.
It needs its upgrade done fast as first impressions suggest that the hotel is run down and seedy!
The staff are very kind and efficient. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The street noise is terrible (due to trams and street cleaners).
Free drink all the time! ^_^ Very helpful stuff, especially IT people there. Wi-fii is free in the lobby. 3 minutes walk to Tram 5 / Tram 24 stop. And very close to Amsterdam Zuid (Railway station), only 3 stops. Then go to Airport only takes you up to 20 minutes. Small bed (single). A little bit noisy in the room. The curtain is shorter than windows. I woke up by the light outside in the morning.
Very good hotel a bit outside the center of the city, in quiet neighborhood. Easy acess to the center with tram (about 10-15 mins). Very friendly staff, clean rooms and no noise during our stay. Very good price for Amsterdam. Breakfast wasn't perfect, little space in bathroom.
Great location. Clean and comfortable with a friendly, helpful staff.
This hotel is located North of WTC. This position is good who plans to go to WTC. Cleanness is satisfied. I stayed comfortable with reasonable price. I heard noise from street. I did not mind for sleep. But it seemed a little bit louder for sensitive person.
Nice area and easy access to centre via trams. Unfortunatley the hotel is in the middle of a refurb so lots of materials and dust around, however i am sure when it is complete it will look better. The dining area is definately too small
I've stayed at 4th floor with a nice 1 king bed for 2 would be better than 2 beds. Beds tend to move :) As for breakfast which was good there were just hard-boiled eggs, no soft-boiled which i prefer.
location in Amsterdam Payment in advance, very poor breakfast, dirty bathroom, lot of noise because of poor isolation and doors
convenient to anywhere of the city; room is quite big rest room rather small
Really enjoyed your doormand and the bartenders in the bar. Great guys with a great sense of humor! Our room was really hot. We were not able to get the air working at all. Otherwise the room was fine. Great shower.
The staff was great.
Prices in Restaurant and bar and mini bar prices
I liked the size and comfort of the room. It was quite and good for resting The room was a little cold and could not adjust the temperature
The hotel is located next to the Rai Train Station which is only 2 stops from the airport. It is also next to the tram terminal so transportation into city central is very convenient. For those who would like to stay out late or have lots of amenities and things to do near the hotel, this would not be an ideal location.
Their lobby No proper heating system and arougant staff that do not care about customer satisfaction, however, they are cahrging premium
Mid-range comfortable hotel. Very frindly staff. Parking charge, €25 per night!
The comfortable environment of the Holiday Inn and the easy connection by bus to the center.
The closness to the RAI as we were in Amsterdam for METS. Also the nearby tram for easy rides into the city centre. The restaurant was very convenient and welcoming. The food was quite good. There should be more information about the hotel amenities in the room - such as prices for items in the minibar.
Upon arrival we were greeted in a most friendly manner, English/Dutch was not a problem to converse. Dinner/bar waiter most helpful, drinks and meal excellent. Check out first class, taxi called to go to city. Recommend.
Stayed here for business and it was great. All the required services and internet were available. As for comfort, the bed was perfect. My only discomfort was that it can get a bit too warm at night despite the heater being off. Also, I have to say that the hotel is beautiful and in a very nice location. It is very easy to find your bearings to find your way back and feel safe even late at night. Would definitely stay here again.
location, service, and room were great. We paid 30 euro extra at the hotel and had one of the two rooms we booked upgraded. one of the two rooms we booked was on the first floor. At first it looked terrible, but ended up being fine and three older kids stayed there and liked it. We stayed in a room that we paid 30 euro to upgrade to.
I spent there 4 nights with my wife, daughter and two grandchildren (5 and 14 years old). What impressed us most was the unique atmosphere of relax in the most heart of the city, unbelievably delicious cuisine at 238 restaurant and very comfortable pillows!!!! No, everything was perfect
great location, walking distance to most things, nice garden too much renovation, halls not very attractive
The location is very good, having a good access to anywhere from the tram station close to the hotel. The staff is indeed capable and courteous, but I rather wish them to be more leisurely.
The Pulitzer offers old world charm, excellant service, and all the luxury in modern accommodations anyone could ask for, I was thrilled with the hotel, and the morning breakfast was par excellance. The location of the hotel was for us, perfect. I just can't say enough. I've stayed with the Pulitzer before this trip and I will definately stay there again when I return to Amsterdam. I am in the restaurant business in the US, and because I work so hard at creating a special atmosphere and serving my guests well, I am very appreciative when traveling to be treated so well. . The Pulitzer does it right, from check in the check out! Thank you! Absolutely NO Complaints or suggestions.
The location. Lots of dislikes and for the price we paid, it is not close to the value that it should be.
Beautiful atmosphere, nice staff and amazing location Breakfast was poor and very expensive.
Excellent location. Little noisy, little dirty:)
found the hotel to be the perfect location for our vacation in amsterdam. many of the things we wished to see were in walking distance and if not the hotel was very quick to arrange transportation for us. thought the room could be just a little fancier in appearance for the amount of money charged. otherwise - very confortable
The Pulitzer was recently redesigned and it exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The location can't be beat. It's in a very smart area in Amsterdam with great bars, shops, and restaurants nearby. The design of the hotel is very chic. The interior courtyard garden is amazing. Everything was perfect except service at restaurant Jansz. Everyone was well intended but some people (hostess) abandoned post for several minutes and people were left waiting to be received and, &! My case, to collect my coat. This is one area of operation to inspect. Otherwise, everything was so perfect. I've stayed also at the Dylan hotel and Waldorf and I would say that this hotel is better than Waldorf because the design is so smart and not generic like Waldorf. And I would say it's equal to the Dylan. Dylan is also chic but has a more classic design inspiration. Stay here while it's still affordable. I imagine rates will increase once reviews and bookings start coming in.
We had a very nice room with a view on the canal;
It's a really nice modern hotel, great for business trips- close to the airport! I didnt like that the hotel was so far away from Amsterdam City Centre, the hotel is'nt very close to the tram stop so it takes a while to get into Amsterdam City Centre. The hotel is definately for business people- not for tourists wanting to see and explore Amsterdam!
Clean room, big beds, nice & modern equipment, quiet area. Very good value to cost. Location - the hotel is far away from the center and there are only office buildings around. It isn't that close to airport either - airport taxi costs 25-30 Euro. Similar cost is with the Shuttle bus. Travel to the city center takes up to 45 minutes by buses or by underground trains (plus 15minutes walk to the closest station). I hope this comment would help others since in my opinion it is really the only disadvantage of this hotel.
Wireless network worked only for two days
The parking price... Sorry for my english but I would like everybody know our experience When I booked I asked them for a baby cot. Than from the experience of others I thought is better 2 call them on arriving day to renew my request. Everything was useless. We arrived at the hotel at 20.15... and the baby cot after a big ... it arrive at 22.45. Because they couldnt understand " why you can not hold the boy with you on the bed is just for 2 nights ?" So than they brought an almost broken baby box ... to figure as a bed. Than all hitechnology sometime usless (like the frige)... It was the worst 4* hotel we ever stay.
Good-sized rooms, very clean Location - in the middle of nowhere - but reasonably handy for the airport. Polite staff, but no information about the hotel (reception telephone number, restaurant details, etc) in the room. Food in the restaurant was reasonable.
Convenience. Ease of access to Amsterdam and highways to other locations. Artistic decor. Cleanliness. Dust under bed, spittle on wall, stains on floor, threadbare towels, missing wash cloths. Inattentive staff in bar and dining room. Overcharge for meals.
The Hotel was very nicely presented and the artwork and furniture were stunning, the room was beautiful. Just as the picture on the site. Free wireless internet and music on demand through the lcd telly were excellent too. The staff were quite abrupt, it seemed that anythign over and above what they normally offered as standard or they didn't charge for was a bit of a chre, it took us all day to get a cot for the baby we arrived with he nearly needed to sleep somewhere else, the cot was poorly made (a single tatty blanket and a untreated wood cot with bits missing causing it to be slightly dangerous) The breakfast was mediocre and expensuive, we also found the fittings in the breakfast room were poorly made as a chari fell off the wall whilst we were sitting on it, the high chair was unsuitable and dirty and the hotel was not keenly priced. A long walk to the trams and buses is required otherwise a taxi is 25EUR to the city All in all not a great stay. Would not recommend to a family visiting more suited to younger people with more tollerance for poor service.
Hotel almost faultless, and quiet due to out of town location. Easy to reach from central Amsterdam. Not really, the bath did not drain particularly well and the shaver socket did not work. Apart from that, the room was perfect.
very convenient location, good room and breakfast reception could use some more staff to speed up check-in/out
Reliable , easy access, comfortable The restaurant service does not match up with the profile of the hotel
Very beautiful and strange
The noise of the railway on 25th November during the night was so loud that my partner & I had no sleep that evening. In fact I would request a refund as the vibrations & noise werer so disruptive & invasive
Design Room was too cold and heating was not properly.
Close to airport, funky, clean, friendly staff. Not close to many restaurants, not many food options.
The bed is very good!
Large and comfortably beds. Fair Price. 20-30 Min to Centraal Station via Tram The Rooms have no Windows! You even cant see whats the weather like. As we entered the room it was very stinky and we couldnt get some fresh air, because there is no window... And the worst: the bathroom is not separated the room. the toilet is right behind the bed, seperated by one wall but without any door. even if you love your partner there is absolutly no privatsphere. i would never book a hotel like this again.
excellent value for the quality since it was opened for only two days there were some unfinished details that need to be polished.
light effects and king size bed rooms smaller than in pictures,no door for bathroom
very practical located no door in the wc and no room heating
For such a low price, I was impressed with the ease of travelling to the city centre, great public transport links. No privacy when using the toilet! You could not stay in these rooms with someone unfamiliar, it wouldn't be too hard to at least put a screen up.
Second stay in the last month at the Qbic. Great hotel, incredible beds and great price.
Beautiful hotel, very new, nice comfort inside, especially the coffee in the room The glass bathroom door is spectecular, but somewhat unusual for me.
good area and historical building
Art Nouveau hotel;you need to like it to enjoy the hotel, which is beautifull than ; large rooms, well equiped (surprising free of charge minibar, including alcool),nice restaurant and buffet breakfast(a little bit expensive) ,beautifull spa with swimingpool.Close to the railwaystation,at the border of the old centrum. Reception not "5 stars" due to small office, waiting time if some other people arriving simulteanously , and to few personnel at the concierge office !
The Staff, The atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the service...
Good comfortable rooms Hotel still being refurbished, so some things not yet finished in hotel and the room. i.e. no toilet door and shower leaked badly as door seal seemed to be missing. However, the room was comfortable and the bed was simply delightful.
The best things in the hotel are the free minibar, the location and the helpful concierge employee mr.Roel Smits. Overall my staying in the hotel did not meet my expectation (I expected more for what I paid).
Please write at least 15 words
everything it waas a very nice stay more light in the room. That's my only remark. Please do something about this because it's too dark in the room!!!
it was an amazing hotel ,the room was superb , the hotel is located neer by the sentral station i liked everything
Beautiful hotel, great architecture, friendly staff, facilities in room (like nespresso machine, free minibar and great bed), right in the city centre, reasonable prices for food and drinks. Just a small thing: the hotel is a bit of a maze, takes a bit to figure out how to get from your room to the reception, but the staff told me that new signs will be there soon
nothing Had booking confirmation in-hand. Manager asked a ton of questions, asked me to email her the confirmation, wasted a half hour till she finally told me the reservation cannot be honored because their reservation system was already closed, meaning they overbooked and refused my reservation after I already showed up at the hotel. They wasted my time. They were rude. They tried to blame me even though all i did was book online. They provided no assistance in getting a different room in the city. Awful experience. BE CAREFULL ON BUSY NIGHTS, THEY OVERBOOK.
Very central location, clean, friendly, well-furnished.
Good location, helpful staff, nice bar.
The location is perfect, walking distance from the train. We also walked both days from the hotel through the neighborhoods to the museum district and back. The breakfast and cocktail receptions were an added benefit.
Great location. great food, friendly staff. pricey
I liked the location and the style of the room. We wanted to make some tea as it was quite cold in Amsterdam but there was no tea pot. We asked the service and it appeared the tea pot would cost us additional 6 euros. I think tea pot should not cost anything in the hotel of such level.
Excellent location, which is why I would still recommmend it. Not particularly good value for money. There were rennovations taking place making the room a bit noisy duraing the day. 30 Euro pp breakfasts are too expensive and should have been included in the rate
Paid extra for lounge Lounge didn't have food available all the time Lounge should open at 5 am We were with my handicap father and the hotel lobby is handicap accessible but it would be a real problem if he had to leave quickly.
Great central location. Nice, business-class hotel with good facilities and service. Ask for room facing courtyard, which is quieter than street side. Kayak price of $170/nt incl (very good) breakfast was great deal for this property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Amsterdam and couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Very comfortable, immaculate, great location, incredibly friendly and professional staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel for pleasure or business trip. nothing
Good location, big and clean rooms, nice staff, value for money
Rooms a little small for the price, compared to other rooms I have used (worldwide). However, easy access to the airport, for me as in transit over the night, brought some value to the price. Also, several of the TV channels were not operative. Too bad for a hotel in thic class.
how convient it is. the maid service was poor. they did not remove the plates, or tray from room service. They are also too anxious to get in.
Walking distance to Schiphol airport For lack of time, I decided to choose a Sheraton. Exceptionally so, because I've had quite bad experiences with that chain. This hotel, however, was OK as far as I can tell.
it is convenient to ariport and train station, nice & clean and staff are friendly & helpful.
I loved not having to leave the airport but did feel that the room was overpriced.
easy to access from the airport and center of the city, reasonable room charge. no free space in refrigerator
location was great. staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make things most comfortable for my stay.
We was staying in the family room, it coat a lot, but you get comfort. It was two rooms inside one, we have separate toilet and bath. We didn't take breakfast because we didn't have time, but it is really expensive. We use sauna it was nice after long trip.
Staff is very couretous and efficient. Make you feel very welcome.
Central location within the city center. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Good breakfast. Good idea to have free access to coffee machine, drinks and snacks. However, for alcoholic beverages, we would have liked to have the option of paying for premium/better quality drinks. The room was very small and the "canal view" is of no real interest. No restaurant in the hotel so the choice for room service menu is very poor.
An excellent location with very friendly staff and comfortable accomodation. The free bar and snacks in the lounge area made it a very sociable hotel too. Nothing it was excellent all round.
All in price drinks snacks and beakfast
1. helpful, friendly staff 2. complimentary snacks and beverages 3. location
All-inclusive (mini bar, food and drinks at the lobby, breakfast)
