30 year genuine Alaska experience. Very clean and well maintained, very close to airport, convenient on demand shuttle, fun watching seaplanes at busiest aerodrome in the world at Lake Hood. Pros (+) This is a dated hotel and definitely shows the age and apparent uncleanliness of the common areas. Rooms were relatively clean, but wanted to turn around and find another, however, it was a late check in and we were only going to stay the one night, the one good thing, is the air conditioner is great!

Cons (-) Rude lady at breakfast would not allow access to coffee without full breakfast. Shuttle to airport was a third party that took a while to arrive.

Pros (+) The beds are actually really comfortable. The rooms have dark over curtains and overall it was pretty quiet. I literally stayed here 8 hours as I needed a place to crash between flights. I slept really well.
Cons (-) They only had decaf coffee in my room.
