5.8 Okay
Pros: I was a Marriott fan for 20 years, haven’t stayed much at other chains. However, this Marriott exceeded my expectations on food - and on food only. This is probably the best hotel restaurant experience I’ve had in my life (I’m talking not only about Marriott inc, although it is biggest in the world now); the chef with his cooks deserve a medal. Healthy stuff was fresh and perfect; unhealthy stuff was amazingly delicious. Only one meal at night restaurant was bad - burned butter killed the taste. But hopefully they learned on their mistake. All the rest meals I had very too good, which is quite annoying for all the chefs and cooks I’d meet in future. The concierges and bellmen are very professional - and extremely helpful. The front desk girls are very nice. The casino could compete with Wynn palace in Macao - very beautiful facility. You can literally see how many $ millions were invested. Pity it’s so empty. Pity people are going there in shorts and flipflops, and you allow it. Smoking rooms have no odour of the previous smoke at all. This is very impressive. And this is where it ends. If I was a Marriott auditor, you’d have been very unhappy, because in terms of service you mostly failed, starting from “Thank you, sir” several times a day in live and on the phone, when I’m clearly too female by looks and voice and too young yet for looking even close to a man. Also, you don’t even have some sandwich option for early leaving customers, and I’m not ready to pay ₩45000 for 2 pieces of bread with a slice of meat in between when I don’t have time for a proper breakfast before the flight and just something to bite on the way to the airport, so I would starve to death. I was shocked. Seriously.
Cons: Well, the facility is good, but the management is poor. First of all, the music level everywhere - it is just too loud. Especially outside. The pool is empty this time of the year, why the hell you got music there? I could hear it through the shut balcony door. If your guests have jet lag or would like to get a daytime nap, it’s impossible. Sleep deprivation guaranteed. I slept with earplugs, which is very uncomfortable. I checked the outside of the other building without the pool area - there you also have that stupid elevator music so loud, it is just impossible to be in the room. Outlets is the same story. If you don’t have many people shout in the room, why the music is so loud? Who’s that genius ordered this?! It’s annoying to sit at the bar and listen such loud music. Second of all, it’s either you have big bath tub and small wardrobe or big wardrobe but tiny bathtub. I wanted to change my room, because space at that tiny wardrobe is not just enough for someone, who came for more than 1-2 nights. I didn’t change the room, because the no big bath tubs with big wardrobes at the same Were available even at the smoking bld. Note it for your future guests. Why don’t you have a floor without children? Seriously, having a quiet time, when children are running and screaming at the corridors is just impossible. Since mediocracy is ruling nowadays and people do not raise their children to respect other people’s piece and privacy, you could at least do the favour to people, who does request quiet rooms. You had a tournament, your guests were mostly sleeping daytime, and you are well aware of that. But it doesn’t seem anyone thinks about guests’ comfort anymore. As for the the design of the rooms and outlets, it’s more Renaissance chain than Marriott. I’ve stayed at smaller rooms that were designed more comfortably than this 38 sq m. No space to hide a suitcase, for example. There are stains on the walls from the previous guests. Is it that difficult to clean it?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: You have everything at the location, its huge. Few days later I stayed at Lotte resort in Jungmun which was much more expensive but very dissappointing compared to Marriot Shinwha hotel. I also liked the band that was playing in the evening at the ground floor.
Cons: Some stores are not yet open, but when I see that four seasons hotel will open there as well I think it will be even better in the future
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The pool was a lot bigger than I expected. The breakfast buffet was great, although it could get a little crowded during peak times (8:30-9:30). Good to have everything (food court, restaurants, amusement park, entertainment) on the resort.
Cons: General location was a little out of ways in Jeju, so you had to drive out quite a bit To get to Jeju attractions and restaurants.
6.7 Good
Pros: Only bed I like for this hotel and maybe that’s the reason why I keep choosing Marriott hotels, the front desk and concierge service is all good, I like to give a helper named Jane Kwan a two thumbs up service!
Cons: The bathroom was awful because the way the door design was too awkward and shower area flooded all the time and I spent so much time to mopping the wet floor, the toilet was stuck and we requested to change the room ……
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The rooms and halls were bright. The shuttle is every 2 hours, check before booking flight.
Cons: The photo was so nice, the actual facility was nothing like it. I vomited from food poisoning when I asked for maid service they came and vacuum only. I had to ask for them to mop the floor. None of the shops are open until 11:00 am -12:00 pm
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very friendly The facilities were very good for family
Cons: The cleaning staff are not very clean
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern and clean rooms. Great food in the Marriot restaurants (Japanes, Chinese, Korea, Steakhouse). Nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: Pool area not suitable for adults. Weak gym. Waterpark pretty boring.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The only good thing in the complex was the G-DRAGON pool table..
Cons: If you're the type of person who enjoys the rich-like experience, sure,.. have a blast :/, But if you value your money, read this: Parking: Far. Check-in: The check-in was long + waiting in the waiting area although we arrived 1 hour post our check in time. The Room: The room was a basic Delux room, nothing fancy. The closet for cloths was at the end of the room and did not have much space. The coffee mugs had a funky smell. the bathtub was dirty. Breakfest: Poor. poor quality, poor vegetables options, poor coffee + at the entrance they set us without asking for our room number which was great!, it's called 'care-free'. but! then in the middle of our poor breakfest they put a bill on our table, we asked the manager "what's it about?!", he said "don't worry about it, if you already paid for breakfest, just write down your room number". so we kept eating our breakfest. then again another girl asked to put down the room number, while i'm chewing!! so i said the room number, then she insisted that I will write it myself, with the dirty pen! And this happened repeatedly across the tables around us, So I put down the freaking room number, and guess what happened at check-out: Check-out: at check-out, they charged me 2 times for the breakfest! Tax refund: None! Gym: Poor! more then 3 peep is a crowd... Pool: meh... Sauna: Ok. Overall, it was a waist of time and there are 3 stars hotels which can provide a better experience!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are new Rooms are clean and comfortable Staff are friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing much

7.9 Good
Pros: View was really amazing and very close for Olle 8, Olle 9 course. Interesting neighborhood to experience authentic Jeju with sprinkle of hipsterness. Cafe is also nice and Korean breakfast is interesting. It's not the fanciest "boutique" hotel but for the price I paid completely worth it.
Cons: The first room we were assigned was smelly. We complained and they changed the room (actually a bigger one) then it was perfect.
7.1 Good
Pros: The view and the considerate heated toilet bowl and floors
Cons: The location
