Pros: Wonderful. wonderful, wonderful. Everything was just wonderful. I hope to be back soon!

Pros: I travel a lot and have stayed in many places throughout the years. Antares is probably the only place I felt that welcomed and cherished. The place is amazing, extremely confortable and well decorated .. but what makes it unique is the hospitality and love that Mina and Giorgos Offer very generously. Here you are a guest and not a customer and your will have the best advice for exploring this god blessed land! And of course I have to mention the great breakfast, specially prepared with local fresh products and renewed every day! Just an excellent experience I will definitely come again!

Pros: This hotel is an experience in itself. Everything was so fantastic we felt that it was well worth the luxury price- walking down the steps to the sea in the calm little cove than lounging on the terrace chairs in the quiet of the old stone building, every meal prepared artfully, high quality bed and shower. We also really enjoyed our conversations with the owner and staff!

Pros: An ideal hotel in the fascinating Areopolis. It is clean and original, the interiors decorated and furnished with taste. Perfectly planned space, comfortable beds and "personal" breakfasts (at the check-in express your wishes regarding the breakfast set). Very kind and helpful service. Parking practically under the windows of the hotel. The hotel is very personal and recommendable.

They had lovely manners and treated customers like friends and family instead of strange guests. The view from the pool and lounge area is incredible, especially during sunset. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Pros: A very stylish property with extremely comfortable rooms. The staff are very attentive and the reception warm and friendly. It was very relaxing around the pool and there is easy access to the sea across a pebble beach.

Pros: Hotel’s location is great. It is near Limeni and Aeropoli and in almost equal distance between North and South beach areas. There is a swimming pool which even if it’s small it offers a relxing time. Rooms are not modern but not bad at all. During our stay we took a very rich breakfast in an outer space near the pool under the shdow of trees.

Cons: There was a bad smell in the bathroom just for a short time.

Pros: Wonderful decoration, friendly stuff, quick check in and check out, exceptional pool area, stayed at room 158 nice view perfect bed. Overall, we had a perfect stay. Were welcomed with a glass of juice, offered the option to choose among two rooms, provided us a cold bottle of water, the room had exceptional decoration and all the facilities as described. Great pool with wonderful view, small but the pool area is spacious. Great location near Limeni and Areopoli. Totally worth every penny dollar or euro you pay!

Pros: Amazing friendly staff. All rooms come with a balcony view that is simply spectacular. The food is fantastic with great variety. The pool is spotless and the nearby restaurants in Aeropoli or Limeni Village are great.

Cons: Because our room was located near the pool (lower part of the resort), it was a longer stair climb to get to the Lobby/Restaurant. Nonetheless, I still give this place a 5 start rating for simply being great.

Pros: Great location with amazing views over the bay and stunning sunset views from the terrace. The swimming pool is fab, too, and not overly crowded. Great breakfast. One of those rare places that is actually better in reality than in the photos!

Cons: This won't apply to most people apart from those with sensitive skin but it would help if the sheets were washed in non-bio washing powder to avoid allergic reactions.

Pros: The pool was generally very quiet, on one day we had it to ourselves for the majority of the day. The views from the hotel are spectacular.

Cons: The balcony we had was tiny and only had very small dining room chairs, therefore the balcony became redundant. The breakfast was truly awful. Cheap ingredients and awful coffee. The bar staff didn't come round the pool, even when we were the only people there, to see if we wanted a drink!

Only details but an overall feeling of just below expectations: curtains damaged, not closing well, bathrooms a bit bland and one of them with a stand up shower without any glass or curtain or anything, so not usable really) One day they left the fresh linen on the bed, without maling the bed Overall cleaning of the room on the light side No water replenishment No restaurant in the hotel, only snacks/pizzas which is really not convenient, especially because with such views you want the option to stay in (and also you don't have anything else next door) No spa, no massage, no extras of any type Aircon not well designed (the suite is a duplex and the aircon would only refresh the living area and not the sleeping area)

Cons: The staff could have been more engaging on check in and at breakfast. We had a twin bed, one mattress was very firm and one very soft. There was a juccuzi bath with a sign saying there was an extra cost for use, but no indication of that price, the person who showed us the room should have explained the charge.

The rooms and all the facilities were clean. Also they had no problem for us to have part of our wedding photo shoot at the hotel premises. The location was in the heart of the village but the room was very quiet. The views incredible. Would recommend to friends and family.

Pros: Excellent location in the centre of the picturesque village of Limeni. Small historic tower which maintained part of the old decoration. 6 different rooms variable in size. Breakfast was exquisite with local products. Staff were politely courteous and prepared to answer any question and knowledgeable of the local area.

Pros: Beautiful property with a great view. It is so relaxing and a very short drive to so many places in the Peloponnese. Everything works perfect wifi, water, AC, comfy bed etc. The family is so lovely and hospitable and make you feel like youre at your home. They can make you dinner, or you can have a glass of wine on the terrace. They upgraded my room and offered me fruit and wine. Perfect few days!

Pros: This traditional small hotel gave us the opportunity to travel back to the ancient times, yet its facilities and comforts were at a very high standard. We were particularly impressed by the welcoming and the hospitality of the family who own this nice hotel. The breakfast was excellent because it is prepared by home made material and focuses on the traditional recipes of the area. The view from the hill where the hotel is located is fantastic. For swimming the closest beach is 5 minutes by car (Neo Oitilo) but as Peloponnese is famous for its crystal seas its worth it to travel around (in less than an hour) to discover nice beaches for swimming. Overall our staying at this hotel was excellent.

Pros: The place is very beutiful and has a great view. The rooms are well designed and breakfest is good. The shower is great. They helped us planing our travel.

Cons: Air conditioning was very slow. It was very hot in the room and it takes alot of time until you feel the cool. The hotel is managed by a nice family but in some incidents We felt unwanted. There is a teenager that is running the place most of the time. When We complained about the air conditioning he insisted that it is impossible that We feel it is not working well and argued with us about the time We got into the hotel. On the next day they forgot to put some towells in one room. When We asked them. Kindely to bring towells he accused us that We took the towells to the sea (We didnt. We brought thowels From home to the beach). We were family with 5 little children and 5 adults. They didnt make us feel wanted. They complained about us being too noisy. We belive that it is not a place for family. We were at 5 hotels in greece during our trip and no one treated us like that.

Pros: Amazing traditional property made of stone! The view on Oitylo Gulf is one of the best things! Owners of the property Mr Kostas and Mrs Kaiti and their son Dimitris provided an unprecedented hospitality experience! They made a custom map of Mani with all necessary details based on our interests! Breakfast also perfect with home made staff and traditional products of Mani.

Pros: Room 4 has the most amazing view in whole Limeni someone can have from their balcony.

Cons: The cleaning of the bathroom and balcony for sure needs more attention. The bathtub seemed like it was never scrubbed or cleaned with detergents, more like it was washed with plain water. The pressure of the water decreases a lot when someone else is bathing at the same time. Breakfast did not meet our expectations as there was not a buffet and the were not many choices to make.

Pros: Great position on the seafront. Nice, comfortable and large room. Very good breakfast. Kind and helpful owners.

Pros: I stayed for 3 night during Oceanman 2019. Great location! Just 5 min walk from the registration, starting point, etc. I had room with a terrace, magnificent view.

Pros: What a find! Kourmas Rooms, at the far end of the delightful, small village of Limeni, are just wonderful. Our room (number 4) was a good size, very comfortable and had a very large balcony with superb views over the Bay. One could sit there forever! The staff at Kourmas are absolutely delightful! Kourmas and the restaurant are right on the rocky sea shore - the ideal position for a leisurely breakfast which was in itself very good. We ate there on 3 nights and found the food excellent, ambiance wonderful and staff again delightful. Swimming off the rocks in front of Kourmas was just bliss! The Mani is a fascinating area of Greece to visit and my sister and I will most definitely be back next year! Thank you to all at Kourmas!

Pros: Located right next to the sea. We had booked a room with a side view of the sea but the owner kindly upgraded us to a room facing the sea with a large terrace and wonderful views. The restaurant at the rooms was fantastic - we ate there on both nights we stayed there - varied menu and excellent fish and seafood. The breakfast was good quality locally produced food and plentiful. Limeni is a quiet little village but is well positioned to visit the rest of the Mani. The nearest town is Aeropoli (5 minutes drive) which has several eating places and supermarkets.

Cons: We loved it all.

Pros: The hotel is is a very central location so access to everything was super easy. The room was big and clean and the breakfast had many options to choose from. Friendly staff as well.

Cons: There was a lot of noise coming from the corridors outside the rooms, I am guessing there is no soundproofing in the premises so we were waking up at 8am every day because we could hear the staff talking and walking around.

Pros: The location was very comvenient and the hotel was overall fine: beautiful and spacious, whereas the staff was awake to greet us altough we arrived very late in the night. Moreover, our room was big and well-lit.

Cons: The breakfast offered by the hotel was mediocre: tasty yet poor in choices. The balcony door didn't close properly and as a result water passed through and into our room due to heavy rain. Finally, the fridge was too small for a bottle of wine to be kept inside.

Cons: A room safe was indicated in the room description but was not there. However one was sourced for us but it was not attached to anything! The water from the sink tap was hot but the shower delivered only mildly warm water. It wasn’t a big issue so we didn’t report this until checkout. Reception team were upset that we hadn’t told them do they could put it right.

Pros: Very convenient location in the city square. Different styles of rooms within the hotel. Very friendly and accommodating owners and staff. I plan to stay there again when in the area. Best location for exploring the Mani Peninsula.

Cons: The fact that the hotel is run by a corporate business and lacks any sort of character and also the fact that it is competely lacking the flexibility to facilitate ad hoc requests such as an extra guest joining our group. We had to find accommodation an hour away for the extra person even thought there was more than enough space in the bedroom for an extra bed. One of the two light bands in the bathroom was burnt, omg if the four chairs in the veranda was broken and there was hair on the bedsheets which was not ours obviously. The double bed mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The coffee at breakfast was terrible.

Pros: We had a great time at Achelatis. When we arrived at Areopolis the weather was really bad, windy and rainy. Dimitris welcomed us and made his best efforts to make our stay pleasant and comfortable despite the weather. He was always there to accommodate our requests. The room was really spacious and very clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we enjoyed a captiving sunset. Location was very nice and quiet, just outside Areopolis within walking distance from the center. We definitely recommend Achelatis. Thank you very much Dimitri for making our stay unforgettable!

Pros: The big traditional building in stone. The garden very well kept. The vis is somewhat nice although if you go down the hill you have many of such stone building boasting a better sea view after all.

Cons: The hotel was not even a three stars. It was a (badly managed) pension run by a family. Our sheets were not clean and we had to ask for replacements. Also, we discovered that towels were unclean as well. This is unacceptable for any hotel/pension of any level and above all after you pay for a superior sea view room for 175 euros per night! The funny part is that the next day they changed our towels again and even the new ones were all full of large brown and yellow spots. Quite disgusting. This round we didn’t even complain as it was our last night. Also, the hotel infrastructure looks dated -see my picts - with old furniture, missing heater (even though we didn’t need that in summer of course), old nets on the windows full of cracks and sparking shower pistol as too old and need to be replaced. Quite disappointing for what we paid for. Last but not least. You can spend more money for a “se view” room but effectively ALL rooms face the sea and so this is a deceiving description. They should have made a distinction between lower and upper apartments. We got a ground apartment even though we paid for a top location. Very disappointing and deceiving again! Breakfast was of poor quality - no fresh orange juice but rather from a common orange squash from the minimarket... much stuff was average and certainly not home-made. All in all a very bad value for money.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly personel who had a lot of advice for us. Good bed. Private parking. Basic breakfast but of good quality. Areopoli is a very beautiful town.

Cons: Of the traditional studios only the two with the balconies have sea view. Those were taken, so we got a free upgrade to Family Suite, which is perfect for the winter, but not for the summer: no balcony, small windows, kind of dark and difficult to air naturally. I especially booked this hotel to have breakfast on a balcony with a sea view, so this was not a very successful upgrade. It was also not so clean as expected. I could tell that the floor was not thoroughly cleaned or it was cleaned long ago and at the douche I found the used soap of somebody else!

Pros: Excellent cottages with character, friendly staff. Very clean.

Pros: The swimming pool was good; the service at the pool bar was excellent; poolside tables of the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere.

Cons: As with many Greek three-star hotels, the whole place is a little run-down at the heels. The rooms need reconditioning--something more than a new coat of paint here and there. Especially the bathroom and shower, which was pretty old and didn't function properly.

Pros: They had a very expensive breakfast buffet with classic Greek items and something for those from other countries. The bed was very comfortable in the room was very large. We didn't go in the pool but it looked very nice in laid out by it one day. It's very quiet in that area on the outskirts of the town and easy to walk to the Center Square. Everyone in the family that works there is extremely nice and accommodating even when I was trying out my limited Greek.

Cons: Some of the bathroom fixtures seemed quite old but it is an old building and that kind of added to its charm. Everything was kept very clean though.

Cons: Staff very kind, but not speaking english. Very ugly fuel smell from the room, since below our room there were some kind of big generators or water heating system, fueled by petrol in a very unsafe and dangerous way (if you will sleep on some of the room near there, don't smoke!!)

Cons: Pangiotis was such a great host and owner. Such a friendly person. He takes great pride in his hotel. It's clean, comfortable, the room was the biggest of our stay so far.. The location was perfect. We had a beautiful view of the sea. This is such a hidden gem. I almost don't want to tell anyone. We will be back and we will only stay here. Best value so far.

Pros: Family run hotel and always greeted you with a smile. Not over friendly, if you needed something they helped. Hotel is very clean, room cleaned fresh bedding and towels every day. AC. Great breakfast with wide selection. Great coffee. Relaxing pool area, 5 minute walk from main street in Areopoli but peace & quiet. One night they had a Greek music night with live singers, wine and food and it brought an end to a perfect vacation. Would recommend this hotel.

Pros: We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a lovely time. The room this year had been refurbished so was even better than usual. We were greeted on arrival with genuine happiness that we had returned and on leaving was given a bottle of the hotels olive oil as a gift. As for the breakfast, absolutely magnificent.
