Cons:It feels like this particular branch is under staffed; whilst everyone we dealt with was helpful & pleasant, it took a long time to get things done. On collecting the car, I had to wait in line for around 50minutes, it then took another 25mins to go through all the paperwork. In this day and age it shouldn’t be that complicated when so much can be done online in advance. It was unbelievably difficult to get in touch with someone to get my rental period extended a few hours- it took four emails (none of which were responded to by the office) and many (mostly unanswered) phone calls to finally get through to someone, however, when I did, it was sorted quickly & promptly. Any online chat assistance through the Avis website was hopeless, their best advice was to go to the office & extend the rental in person, not really practical when the office was a 90 minute drive away!Reviewed 28 Oct 2019
