Pros: Immaculate, clean and luxurious. Management extremely helpful and much thought has gone into the facilities in the room. Restaurant and bar had a comfortable atmosphere and the menu although we did not eat there looked excellent at very reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was very tastefully designed. The bathroom was very nice! Good value for money.
Cons: Bathroom doors should be 100% frosted! We were not advised adequately about the underflor heating, and the need to turn the temperature up gradually as the pipes really do hold the heat!
7.7 Good
Pros: Excellent disabld facilites. Very friendly and most helpful staff. More than ample food!
Cons: Not sure if it is an hotel side problem but the dining was very good but with an inadequre wine list to complement the otherwise very good food.

Pros: Stayed at the beginning of November for two nights for a wedding. Lovely old building decorated in keeping with its character. Room very comfy and clean. Had everything we needed and more. Breakfast excellent and well presented and served. Greeted with a pot of tea and home made brownies on arrival which was a nice touch. Made to feel welcome, can highly recommend.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a charming Bed & Breakfast! The staff were very welcoming and were able to change our room - to one with a bigger bed - with no fuss. Our breakfast was so lovely as we were all able to sit round together, again without any fuss. We all really enjoyed our stay in the beautifully refurbished surroundings - and we understand that more refinements are on the way! Hopefully this will include a couple of safety features in the bathroom in Room 3! Good luck with the ongoing work! Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole stay was perfect from beginning to end. Lovely , friendly staff. Beautiful room & facilities. Immaculate presentation of the room & exceptional cleanliness. Cannot find any faults.
Cons: Nothing , it was perfect.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Pleasant staff clean premises
Cons: Booked (AND paid for) a room specifically to include a bath & leisure settee/ couch, avoiding a pet hate - shower only - on arrival - it was obvious that the premises were something of a building site & no bath or settee. Lovely staff but not an honest contract. Shame - outhouse was lovely but not what was paid for.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful little B&B, gorgeous decor, super friendly staff and one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in!

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous location, amazing host and a wonderful property. My guest is a vegan and the host was very accommodative of this considering we gave no prior information on this due to a last minute booking. We’re very grateful for the effort and really enjoyed our stay. 5 star breakfast as well!
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like, the only advice I have is that there wasn’t a sign to say where the bnb was once off of the main road. However this wasn’t much of an issue as we were greeted immediately upon arrival.

Pros: The staff was lovely, the room and bathroom were very well decorated and clean. The bed was super comfortable, it was a shame I had to wake up early and couldn't stay longer. Broad selection of teas and coffee in the bedroom, extra heater and blanket as well, although neither were needed as the room was warm and cosy.

Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A great welcome, decent rooms with big comfy beds, (softly sprung) and breakfast is provided in a great way with the kitchenette. Easy access that isn't through the pub makes life even easier. Although it's on a main road noise really wasn't a problem from the road or the pub itself.
Cons: Some of the breakfast bowls in the kitchenette had been left dirty, possibly by other guests.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was perfect for work, staff were friendly and the presentation of the room good. If you like live music you will love this location as you can lie in bed and listen to the groups without leaving your room. I liked the idea of the kitchenette though I didn't use it.
Cons: The street noise was a bit too much and the emergency lighting was far too bright and invasive to sleep well. If I did use the rooms again I would need an eye mask. The mattress needed replacing, but was fairly comfy.

Pros: All the staff was extremely friendly, liked the location, was overall a good experience. Could have been better value for money but in general it was good.

Pros: Everything else was exceptional. The room was great and the times to check out were fantastic. Gave us time for breakfast and a little lie-in.

Pros: Immaculately clean! Great hearty breakfast, continental and cooked. Home made bread toasted was lovely. Everything in the suite was there, shampoos, coffee machine, biscuits, water etc. Beds were comfortable. The cleaning lady was lovely, although everyone was to be fair.
Cons: A bit too much chintz for us. Could really do with a declutter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A brilliant stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The attention to detail was stunning. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were lovely, the room was gorgeous, and we felt thoroughly spoilt!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The full English Breakfast was probably the best I had ever had. The bathrooms are luxurious with a spa and body showers. Large bed and lush linen just adds to the quality.
Cons: The wifi didn't work for me, which was surprising as most people in previous reviews had said nice things about it. The staff was helpful and they shared their private wifi with us.
7.9 Good
Pros: The farm is tranquil and very much a working family set up, which is nice. It had a lovely feel and the location is stunning for the peak district.
Cons: My only gripe was the bathroom had dead bugs in the bath which suggested it may have been a couple of days since it was last cleaned/looked at. If it had just had an eye over it in the morning before our arrival I think it would have been sorted. Not a major issue but just took a little edge of the feeling of cleanliness.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This modestly sized country hotel was a delightful surprise. From the outside it looks like any other farm but in fact it as a very nice and comfortable, well run country hotel with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and pretty gardens.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. The lanes allowing access to the property are very narrow and essentially one way with passing places but this is the nature of the Derbyshire dales!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were given a free upgrade as our room didn't have a bath and I wanted a bath, we got an amazing suite with a huge round jacuzzi bath and four poster bed! Thank you Martin. The breakfast was execptional, best breakfast we have had.

Cons: Having to walk through a busy bar with my suitcase - would have been nicer to have a hotel and then a bar entrance
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location for venue Good food
Cons: Was told I could pay at property on arrival as it was a surprise for my Husband, the day before they took payment out of bank so he saw it bang went the surprise. On arrival the room was cold and no hot water to be fair it was sorted within half an hour which was good. The room was lovely but the bed had 2 mattresses on, my side was very comfortable but the mattress on my Husband’s side had collapsed in the middle which made for an uncomfortable night, I did report this so hope it is rectified for the next visitor as it spoilt our visit. The bathroom was lovely and clean but think the shower could be upgraded I paid £145 for 1 night room only so expected a little more for my money.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this hotel, me and my husband have stayed for Valentine's a few times now, they're really accommodating, thoughtful, we checked in and was handed a bottle of prosecco and fudge ❤ the spa is lovely. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, there's something for everyone. We can't wait to book again.
Cons: My only criticism would be, there's a beautiful bar in the old main building, but for some reason they don't open it? So we had to use the bar and grill, which is open to the public too, it was mostly noticable when after a beautiful valentine's dinner in the old priory room, everyone had to retreat to the grill bar, I saw a few faces thinking 'is this it?'

Cons: Felt tired and reception staff were unfriendly. Bathroom full of exposed pipes. One tiny shower gel and shampoo to share. One pack of biscuits too. I was expecting something really special and it was very ordinary. Hairdryer also broken and when we took it to reception instead of an immediate replacement and apology the receptionist plugged it in and tried it saying she had to do that as people don’t always know how to press the buttons. She then agreed it was broken and said a replacement would be delivered. 10 minutes later when my hair was almost dry one was brought with an apology for the wait

Pros: Liked the location as we wanted a quiet break. Local pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Good location for visiting other places in the area.
Cons: The rooms were too hot, wasn't able to turn the radiators down, had to sleep with the windows open even while it was raining. The breakfast wasn't very organised, the food came came out at differant times and the rest was cold.

Pros: Good location, car parking, good breakfast.
Cons: Bed side light switch hard to locate. Shower door opening narrow.
6.0 Good
Pros: GOOD SIZE BEDROOM. COMFORTABLE BED GOOD BREAKFAST.
Cons: ROOM 15. THEY HAD MAJOR ISSUES WITH FAULTY FIRE ALARM STARTING AT 7.15AM AND STILL ON GOING WHEN WE BOOKED OUT AT 9.30AM HEATING WAS TOO WARM IN THE ROOM WE COULDN'T SEEM TO ADJUST TEMPERATURE EVEN USING THE CONTROL DIALS ON THE RADIATORS. SHOWER SCREEN DID NOT FIT FLUSH TO THE BATH SO ENDED UP WITH A WET FLOOR. THE OVER BATH SHOWER TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATED QUITE BADLY AT TIMES ONE SECOND TOO HOT THE NEXT VERY COLD. TV DIDN'T SEEM TO WORK BUT THAT WASN'T REALLY IMPORTANT. £99 A NIGHT DID NOT FEEL LIKE A FAIR REFLECTION OF THE ROOM. WE WERE GIVEN A 20% ROOM REDUCTION WHICH WE SEEMED FAIR.
5.4 Okay
