Cons: The water was cold!!!!

Pros: Perfect location superb staff

Pros: I stayed over Christmas and had the most wonderful time. The junior suite with a balcony had beautiful views over the lake. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had endless choices of food with homemade pastries. The evening meals were delicious and the waiting staff happy to help with menu and wine choices. The spa treatments were fabulous and the lake views added to the experience. The hotel decor is warm and comfortable and I'll definitely be staying there again!

Pros: Perfect view of Lake Bled and the castle from the hotel. Super easy to reach any important part of bled and to go around. 10 minutes walked to the castle and you can also hike to the top of the castle without need of the car if you want. Historic hotel with oriental decorations.

Cons: A bit cold pool for me, it was 22 degrees Celsius.

Pros: The view was extraordinary! When you are inside hotel you feel that all you need is a ball dress.

Pros: The hotel is a little faded in places but it’s lovely location, cleanliness, fantastic staff and food make up for it. I really enjoyed it. Beautiful views over the lake.

Cons: As a solo traveler, I felt mostly uncomfortable during my stay. I had booked a New Year's Eve special and didn't enjoy most of it due to simple discomfort with the environment and a few unpleasant interactions with staff. One staff member, Amel, was very nice though and listened to my frustrations upon check-out. This place is clearly great for couples and families but it was difficult to enjoy as a solo traveler. There is an unfortunate bias against solo travelers in some locations.

Pros: Hotel had best view of lake. Exceptionally nice hotel, welcoming staff, outstanding facilities including good a la carte restaurant, buffet & exceptionally nice swimming pool / spa complex. Hotel kept exceptionally clean too

Pros: It is Bled. What not to like!? It overrides any shortcomings that the establishment may have.

Cons: It is tourist hotel, meaning it works with tourists in bulks. So, you get the feeling like you are on the Ford assembly line. Same thing for breakfast, for dinner, for reception when a tour bus comes in... Water in the pool was cold for my taste. Its temperature needs to go up for at least couple degrees. I personally liked more my stays in smaller, local places that are in abundance in Bled, for the same or even a bit lower price. Only reason I've stayed here was the swimming pool, since my 5 yrs. old daughter insisted on it.

Pros: Nice looking, clean hotel with amazing and funny staff at reception. Živa welness was something else, very relaxing evening spent at the pools and jacuzzis. Breakfast choice is something I've never seen so far, there is something for everyone - literally!

Pros: Room was fantastic, breakfast very good and all the staff friendly and professional. Hotel core values of sustainability and wellness are very well mantained throughout the premises

Cons: Spa was more like a communal pool, too busy, and sauna only accessible paying a supplement (we were told this only when we were downstairs in our bathrobes, and wasn't possible to charge it to the room). Not the relax we were hoping for

Pros: Room was lovely, with an amazing view. Only one restaurant open so seriously lacking in a decent menu, but what food was served was great. Staff amazing, very friendly. Pools and hot tub out of this world. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: We stayed here during a previous visit - again it didn't disappoint. Our preferred hotel in Bled.

Pros: Very nice hotel just next to the lake Bled shore. Hotel is a bit outdated for 4 stars, but it's being closed for complete renovation from 4.11.2019 until april 2020 - then it's going to be brand new.

Cons: We expected a little better view from the room (we chose room with lake view). The furniture were a bit run down.

Pros: The room keeping was great, pool was just right, the staff friendly and hotel is positioned on the right place.

Cons: The second 2 seater sofa was awful, i still have back pain. For this value there has to be a better quality offered. The dinner was poor as some things like roasted potatoes were reheated the next evening and veg was turned in to a non tasting "pie" or soup!

Pros: Family room was a good size. Great breakfast and great location.

Pros: The hotel had the perfect location, just a 2 minute walk to Lake Bled. Nearby were also many restaurants and bars. The room was big and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

Pros: Very helpful front desk workers. Breakfast was abundant and good!

Cons: We stayed at 1 night. I would like to go for a massage after our arriving, but in the wellness center had been already booked all terms in the actual day. I had no chance for use the service during my stay :(

Cons: I found it very strange that we didn’t had slippers and bathrobes in the rooms even though there is a wellness in the venue. More annoying, on top of the 10€ extra fee you had to pay for entering the sauna was that they also charge you 3€ if you want to rent a bathrobe...

Pros: Excellent location for visit Bled and its attractions. Also near lots of restaurants and bars. Located a few steps from the lake. The hotel is rennovated from the inside and its very well designed.

Cons: The beds are too soft in my opinion.

Pros: Good and enough breakfast, friendly staff. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. The lake is very close. There is a place to parking.

Cons: Old and used building, dirty carpet, worn beds. You can smell the early 80's. 1 cm dust behind the TV... The traffic is very, very loud, you can hear it all day and night long. There is a busy road in front of the hotel and you can hear everything. Terrible.

Pros: The position is great, just 200 meters from the lake. Free parking is also available and this is an important point in Bled. Breakfast is as expected for the price.

Cons: Room was old and looked not very clean. Beds were old and extremely noisy. Every time you move in the bed, it creaked so loudly you could wake up. Also mattresses were apparently old but for sure they were unconfortable.

Pros: Great room! A bit old, but this creates a feel of nostalgia which is great. Location with balcony, view on the castle, mountains and a bit of lake. Not direct view but still very good. Breakfast good.

Cons: I liked everything. The only thing is they do not have free parking, but if there aren't many people staying there you can still get free parking which is awesome.

Cons: We couldn't leave before 8 o'clock! We said we need to check out early, but the staff refused to check us out before the official reception opening. There were people there, but did not want to help us. The site says there's dinner, but it was not possible, not even to get any drink.

Pros: The location and quite and beautiful countryside. The staff were friendly and cooked breakfast was freshly cooked to your order.

Cons: The fact that there was no evening meals offered as we were out of season although said evening meals were available. The hotel was too warm .

Pros: Location was wonderful 10-mins walk from the Bled lake itself, surrounded by wonderful mountain ranges and forests, the room was spotlessly clean.

Cons: 1. I asked a staff member to call a taxi as my roaming network failed around New Year holiday; he gave me a visit card shamelessly saying , quote: "I don' t have a phone". A hotel without a landline/phone for ~50euros/night. Yes, you heard right. 2. Working/Reception hours are set until midnight, however upon arriving at 21:00 doors were closed without anyone at the reception desk. 3. Breakfast was due at 8:00 in the morning. However the kitchen lights were shut down even at 08:20 , the maids were washing the dishes and setting the buffet breakfast table , I felt I was interrupting them. 4. I stayed around New Year (late December), there was no heating in the room.

Pros: Breakfast was nice. Its clean . View is nice and its location is good.

Cons: I asked for a blanket for 2 . They said ok but we received 2 small blankets. Not great for couples

Pros: Very quiet, clean, and orderly. One of the hotel staff took me to the bus station for free in the morning because it was raining, which I appreciated. Having the sauna/spa on-site was great. Breakfast was nice. I appreciated the fact that the property has been run by the same family for decades.

Cons: I could hear talking and techno being played in the room next door, which made it a little difficult to relax.

Pros: This is a nice hotel with incredible service. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. We only stayed one night and were pleased with our choice of hotel and highly recommend it.

Cons: It is an easy walk to the lake, but the hotel is not on the lake. Although we kind of liked that it was not in the hustle and bustle around the lake we could see how this may not appeal to everyone.

Pros: I was amazed with the place and service, everything was exceptional. Room has an amazing view, it's clean, has comfortable and big bed. Massages we had were excellent, and spa is so good because of the mountain view. We had to leave early, before the breakfast, however they let us eat earlier while they were preparing it... so nice!

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Pros: The room was very beautiful and staff very kind. We enjoy the sauna park in the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with homemade sweeties.

Pros: Warm-hearted helpful personnel, tasty breakfast, spacious clean and very warm room. Very nice location with a view to Alpine landscape, peaceful and yet near the resort center and lake. Higly recommend this family inn to future Bled-visitors!

Cons: Sauna/spa was a bit too expensive for our taste.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lakeview room did have spectacular views and a good sized balcony.

Cons: The rooms were very tired and dated and some of the wardrobe doors on their last legs and about to drop off. We had a twin room and found it quite amusing to have our beds end to end so we were sleeping toe to toe. The whole wall was taken up with the length of our beds. You had to go to another hotel for the pool or spa facilities.

Pros: Old hotel build in the 1920s..some nice features.Great view off the balcony. Very clean white sheets and towels. Nice and warm as we came in on a cool wet day. Great location. Very helpful staff, especially front desk. Nice breakfast options.

Cons: Dated as renovation a number of years ago. Opportunity to enhance features of hotel. Breakfast set up a bit confusing.

Pros: The location of this hotel is fantastic, it is metres from the lakeside and a few minutes walk to numerous restaurants and shops. If you are a fan of waking up to a lake side view, this hotel is definitely for you. The view is stunning! Even if that isn't your thing, this hotel has great amenities (and free parking) to be your base for walking and exploring Lake Bled.

Cons: The room felt a bit dated to me and was very dark.

Pros: Outstanding location in front of the lake. Our room had a balcony with a perfect view of Bled Lake and the Castle, specially impressive at night. Good breakfast and convenient parking right on the front of the hotel.

Cons: Building is old and requires immediate general renovation. Room was dirty with some fungus on the wall, some part of bathroom facilities was not working properly. Everything looks like nothing have changed there since old Yugoslavian times...

Pros: Our experience at Lake Bled and the Vila Bled was one of the best we've ever had! The front desk staff (Bruno, Alish, etc) were absolutely fantastic! Very helpful, friendly, kind, and courteous for any question or issue we might have had such as extra pillows...they even let us borrow umbrellas for the day! We stayed two nights; the room and views were stunningly superb! We were impressed at how big the room was, and it had plenty of hot water, the tv worked great, the room was heated just right...perfect in every sense! We ate at the restaurant for dinner, and the meal was one of the best I've ever had...I had the tenderloin, and my wife had the pork chops - wow! Plus, the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of coffee choices, meats, chesses, fruit, breads...the lady who served us even made me an egg omelet one morning which was oh so good! I loved the location of Vila Bled on the lake, and all the magnificence and history it offered! I can't wait to come back!!

Pros: Excellent Location, though a 20-30 minute walk from the main town. Good breakfast, beautiful gardens. Suites are luxurious (probably used by the state at some time). Boat house allows one hour rental of a row boat - enough time to see the church and be back Great view of Bled castle, church

Pros: We had a nice stay at Vila Bled but I wouldn't say it was anything special. There are lovely views from the Lake view rooms of the island and lake. The breakfast was good and the restaurant in general was good (maybe a bit pricey). We stayed for 5 nights in total and it rained for most of this time which meant there were limited things to do. We also requested a late check out which the hotel said it could not accommodate because it was full - which was a complete joke as it was empty the entire time we were there. The rooms while spacious are quite dated and if you book a double room it's just two single beds pushed together - which for a 4 star hotel I find a bit ridiculous. Overall it met our expectations but if I returned to Lake Bled I wouldn't stay again.
