Everything was very Clean, the staff is really nice and the hotel in general is really confortable and pretty. the breakfast was a little poor maybe if they add scrambled eggs and some pancakes will be better and the restaurant although the food is really good they don't have much variety.
location and comfort no problems
Location Because we didn't book direct and paid less they put us in a room close to the highway, with all that noise which was made worse be a use the ac unit did not get cold. As a result we had to sleep with the sliding door open. The beds are not queen but full size. There are little ants everwhere. The carpet is buckled and a tripping hazard. We were there 4 nights but they only cleaned twice. Once without even vacuuming. When I complained they told me below market fairs don't get the nicer rooms and I should book directly next time!
The beds were great, the staff was wonderful and everything was aesthetically pleasing. It was in a perfect location for what we were needing. I slept well, and I would stay again. I would just bring my own pillow. The pillows were flat and the AC was insufficient size to properly cool the whole room. I would say it was about 77 degrees, cool enough without blankets but not ideal. Housekeeping has room for improvement, as the corners under the vanity had a collection of dirt and dust that didn't just happen overnight. The carpeting needs replaced, it feels almost 'sticky'.
The pool floor was filled with algae. This was a nice hotel 25 years ago. Also, breakfast wasn't included.
Friendly staff and location close to very good restaurants at the Promende Mattresses. There was a somewhat musty smell in the hallways on the 3rd floor
The location was very convenient. When we checked in, no assisted us with our luggage. One of the days when we returned to our room the door was open and no one was in the room, Housekeeping had cleaned and refreshed and had not shut and locked the door behind them.
This hotel was excellent for the price we paid. The room was very roomy and clean. The hotel is small but has a nice pool and deck/bar area in front of a lake. Plenty of nice restaurants close by, driving distance from the beach. Recommend it for the value and quality
Pretty appearance, close to restaurants. Parking convenient. Really dirty carpets in our room- our socks were black in short order. You have to pay for the continental breakfast, and worse yet, you have to pay for a cup of coffee at the breakfast bar. Very poor business type office with old equipment and operating systems. There was even a charge for using the business center that I avoided because I could not get my work done. Extremely poor wifi signal everywhere. I had to use my phone hotspot the whole time. Staff shrugged this off as an "xfinity problem", offering no other solution.
The location related to where I needed to be for my trip. I was able to walk to the location from how close it was.
Location was near everything from beach to business to family owned restaurant. Ongoing construction at entrance.
I really enjoyed my interactions with the staff.
Good size room with every thing we have been looking for in a hotel for the 2 weeks we have been in Florida but have not found until now. Will definitely book into Comfort Inns in the future. Stayed 2 nights instead of just one. Brenda
I like bed bed Nothing It wasn't ready when promised.I got 4 not 3 or 2 or 1 one like like you should have. I've stay in hotels before, probably about 10 a year. This one is the worst of the worst. The first one wasn't ready so they put me in a different one, which was occupied by her children, the next one had been cleaned yet, now I've been waiting 4 hrs. Then they put me in a 4th. you don't know it until you go to bed if they have BED BUGS. OMG you could see them and the staff said "this is Florida, what do you expect?" The place should be torn down.
Location Rooms need a refresh, wear and tear of everyday use has the facility needing improvement compared to other Hampton Inns.
The hotel was an excellent short stay location convenient for visitors touring the Everglades and on route between southern Florida coastal resorts and Key West. If you were lucky you would see the hotels own resident Aligator in the adjacent lake!
everything except the elevator This hotel really needs a second elevator.
Great staff. Really nice breakfast. Newly refurbished and very clean.
Price. It was under construction.
Fair location, friendly staff, decent mattresses, nice bathroom apart from the old shower head. Got woken up at 9AM on the day of my departure by housekeeping...then interrupted while showering at 10:30. Checkout is at noon. There is NO REASON to disturb anyone who has not yet checked out before then, let alone twice.
This is a simple, family-run place. The gardens and pool were beautiful. The rooms are basic and old-fashioned, but clean. The managers were friendly and informative. On a busy street; easy to get to/from the airport but not scenic
Beautiful breakfast garden
The service was excellent - very nice reception, spacious rooms, great rates, good breakfast - what more can you wish for? Hmm the location was not near the beach but we knew that. Its easy to get to though and there are also many fab restaurants nearby - try Carrabba's!
Everything was great, the breakfest was really nice. I will be going back many times.
everything was perfect - thank you! thanks to vanessa for friendly and competetive support during my stand!
Clean and quiet. Sufficient for the purpose of my visit. Too little variety of breakfast items.
location of hotel and hygiene
Cloes to food outlets and not far from good beaches and plenty of stuff to see and do
valule for money was very good, we didn¨t expect such spacious and comfort rooms breakfast was poor and staff could have been better informed about activites in that area
It is a very nice hotel with great anemities
Updated decor and friendly front desk staff. Room was on the first floor and I could hear noise from the lobby. Light coming from under the door and through the closed curtins made it difficult to sleep.
Bed was comfortable, bedroom and bath were clean. That's my primary concern, so I would stay here again. Facilities are minimal, but on par with the value pricing, so acceptable to me. Nothing wrong with the staff, but nothing more than you would expect at a fast food franchise either. So if you're looking for something with a little bit of a concierge flair, nicer ameneties and atmosphere, and a little additional service like food and beverage, you'd better stick with the Hyatt Place up the road.
Very clean, helpful staff, room size good Breakfast menu is a bit limited
Price was less at the hotel front desk than booking it via Kayak And next time I will check it before I book it on line via Kayak Hotel rate was $99 at front desk with breakfast included All was good and breakfast was good too
We stayed here before in May this year and enjoyed our stay. This time they were renovating all the rooms and we got one of the newly renovated King suites which was beautiful. All the hall and breakfast areas had new carpet and paint and still had lots more to be done over the next month. Lots of workers and noise going on in the public areas so be aware if this bothers you. You still get the free breakfast and happy hour drinks but things are moved around a little each day. We were out for most of the day plus we didn't hear any noise after 5 pm or so. We used this as a base for day trips to parks and nature areas of the Everglades And even a day to key largo. You're only a few minutes from I-75 and can bypass all the traffic on US 41 when going north or south. We enjoyed a big breakfast in the morning and the evening drinks when we got back from a day of sightseeing. A beautiful park with historical buildings is the Koreshan State Park located just about 10 minutes down the street. We found it very interesting and has beautiful grounds to explore. Now for the reason of only a 4 star rating or less. During the renovations all of the room doors were removed and replaced after the room was done. The problem is they were not replaced properly on a lot of the rooms and don't close or lock properly. Be sure to check your door and make sure it closes and locks completely, ours did not. I reported this the day we checked in at the front desk and the lady made a note and said she would report it right away. Well it was not fixed. We came back to our room the 3rd day and sure enough when I tried the door handle it opened without unlocking it with my card. Someone had entered our room during the day and hadn't checked to see if it locked when they closed the door plus it was 4pm and our room was not touched by housecleaning. I immediately when down to the front desk and told them what happened. Luckily a construction boss was at the desk and he went up with me and checked the door and got some tools to fix it. He had it working perfectly in about 20 minutes. I thanked him and my wife and I checked our room to see if there was anything missing which there wasn't. The maid came by about 4:30 pm and we told her to skip cleaning the room so late and just give us some clean wash cloths and hand towels. She didn't speak a word of English and brought the wrong stuff. We tried to explain the best we could and finally she came back a second time with twice the amount we needed but we just took them and let it go. I have no problem with foreign workers but they need to at least understand the basic words to do their job. They don't have to speak fluent English but just enough to do their job correctly. This was the second time I Have had a problem at this hotel. The last time I started to check in May I was told they didn't have my reservation so I ended up taking a room I didn't want . I called booking .com and they corrected it and got me another room the next day like the one I reserved. I'm not sure who was at fault but it was corrected. I have a feeling the hotel is understaffed because of cost cuts and that's why things don't get done. A person can only do do so many things in 8 hours. Maybe the upper management should run the hotel for a week and see if everything goes smooth like they expect their workers to do??
Quality of suites. Great full breakfast. Firendliness of staff. The first night of our stay, we returned to room to find carlpet soaking wet below the desk. Called front desk to report problem. Maintenance man was there in less than 5 minutes, found the leak behind a plumbing panel. Went to fron desk and returned in less than 5 minutes with keys to a new room. Offered to help us move. Waited outside and then went in to solve the problem. A bit of inconvenience but problem resolved very quickly. One big duvet on bed instead of multiple layers to adjust. Plumbing leak on first night, BUT see likes.
Loved the layout of the hotel and the service. The TV in the bedroom wouldn't turn on.
room and location. Excellent breakfast as well
The owners and staff were very nice and friendly. The room was clean, updated and very comfortable. The location was very central to the entire area for sight seeing and fishing. The resort rented pontoon boats at reasonable prices. There was no patio for the room we rented. (All others have a patio area). There was no outside, grassy area with chairs/tables to sit and watch the waterway. There was a bench on the dock for fishing, but no shade from the sun.
Great location and rooms are very comfortable and clean. Beach is right across the street and you can fish in the pier in the back of the resort. Staff not to bad, but need a little more customer service.
Close to great fishing spots, a clean quite place.
Well maintained property. Courteous staff excellent rooms.
Great lighting over the bathroom sink. Love that the shower and toilet are separate from the vanity which allows more than one person to get ready at a time. Beds were comfortable. Price was excessive for this type of hotel. Breakfast was nothing special. No electrical outlets available next to the beds. No fan in the bathroom.
The breakfast was very basic. For the money I would have expected more.
We went to Bonita Springs for a wedding and the bride had booked a group discount with a different hotel. After the "other" hotel staff was extremely rude over the phone, I decided to book with Best Western instead. We were so happy we chose Best Western. The staff called ahead of time to welcome us, the staff at check in were polite and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and clean! The hotel is finishing a remodel and looks like they are about to paint the hallways next. Our room was already remodeled. On a side note, the guests at the wedding were all talking about how displeased they were with the "other" hotel. That just reconfirmed we made the right choice by booking with Best Western!! :)
The heated pool was quite enjoyable
Clean, close to where we needed to be, just remodeled, very modern, staff was extremely friendly and helpful and great value for the money. It didn't have an exercise facility or gym as advertised..... However it was minor.... I was able to go jogging in the area. Breakfast could use more fresh fruit. Eggs were a little soggy. No premium movie channels.
Seems newly updated. Room was clean and fresh.
Close to I-75, other major roads if you're traveling in the area. Also close to the poker room and dog track. Minimal staff at this hotel, the rooms aren't great (caulking/etc falling apart) but they do the trick. I wouldn't bring my wife here but would stay here for work again because of the price and location.
Price was very good. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Workers were pleasant. Breakfast included.
Conveniently located just off Rt 75 and only 15 minutes to Naples. The condition was like new, the staff was courteous, and the room was quiet. A great value! Water pressure in the shower is low, probably due to a water saver shower head. Not a big deal.
Price was right...mini refrig, microwave and newer bathroom. Close to my business appts Could hear guests next room over. Would like to see the Inn correct that
Nice size apartment with comfortable bed and convenient kitchenette with lots of necessities provided (dish soap, broom, etc.). Location was convenient to just about everywhere and there were plenty of good restaurants and taverns within walking distance. The property is quaint and has a comfy, friendly feel. Andre was very helpful. Good place for a single traveler or a couple Some of the furnishings could be updated a little and the bathroom fixtures seemed a little delicate. If I were to stay longer a pool would have been nice.
It was very easy check-in and we were made to feel right @ home by the owner Karen
Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel and room itself was very clean and inviting. I liked everything.
Location to outlet mall Paper thin walls, people coming in very late and made noise for several hours. Space under the door was to wide allowing sound and light into the room.
staff was super nice, especially Patrick at the front desk. breakfast each morning was great with a lot of hot and cold choices. Coffee was actually pretty good, too. Very recently updated. Clean and new throughout, very comfortable throughout.
Clean, quiet, staff was courteous. This was our second stay at the hotel and we enjoyed it.
Close to hospitals and doctors. My wife being too ill to enjoy it!
