Pros: A beautiful hotel which was very comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotel but had drinks in the bar a couple of times which was very pleasant. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. The pool complex was beautiful and relaxing, the only complaint would be the pool could have been made a little bigger. Saying this there were never many people there so it was not really a problem. The hotel is very central and the shops and attractions are nearby. We would recommend a canal boat trip.

Pros: Fabulous room in the old part of the hotel, sumptuous decor and very clean - more 5star! We had upgraded and was worth it. Enormous double bed and beautifully soft and comfortable, in fact probably only the second most comfortable we've had in the world. Staff were very helpful, and all spoke fluent English, arriving on a Sunday they checked the restaurant in town was open and made our reservation whilst we toured the town. (excellent idea as it was fully booked later). Breakfast was plentiful and of a super standard - even the scrambled egg! Parking was easy and secure and €20 for 24 hours good value.

Pros: Loved that in the apartment we were able to stay together as a family and still be so close to the city center...many times the more spacious the room, the farther from the action. Not so at the Hotel Aragon! Had a lovely stay, would have loved to have stayed longer...literally 2 minutes walk from the Brugge's lovely square. If you are driving a "people mover", you might want to consider alternatives to the hotel's parking (especially in the low season when parking may be available on the street). The hotel parking is very nice and well-protected, but getting into the extremely tight entrance is difficult at best! Was a great stay and will return each time I come to Brugge.
