Budget didn’t have the vehicle I rent it and they showed online very disappointed in that the vehicle they gave me was a Ford that they knew had problems with the back hatch with periodically come up came down on my wife twice we had to exchange it in another state when return the vehicle. I mentioned it to the attendant and she admit they knew they had problems with the Ford back hatches but they rented it anyway I wish you could get the vehicles that are advertised.Reviewed 22 Aug 2026

When I returned the car to Avis at KEF airport, the person from Avis started taking photo pictures of the left rear door before doing inspection, and then she said there is a small damage at the front edge of the left rear door. I still can't find the damage. She then remove the dust over the area and said it is a dent can only be seen from a certain angle. She explained to me that this dent could be a touch by the car, which was parked besides my rented car, when they open the car door. The dent is so small that it is so difficult to be seen even you have been told it is there, but the lady can found it before inspection.Reviewed 22 Aug 2026

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way my rental was handled by Budget. The rental price shown to me was $336 USD, yet I was charged €666 for the rental alone, which is completely unacceptable and almost double the amount I was originally quoted. On top of that, I was also charged an additional €300 as a deposit/pre-authorization. I paid far more than the agreed rental price, and this entire experience has been extremely misleading and unacceptable. This is honestly shameful and reflects very poorly on both Budget and your website. I expect a clear explanation for why I was charged €666 instead of the agreed $336, along with an immediate review and refund of any unjustified charges. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and resolved promptly. I will not accept being overcharged without a proper explanation.Reviewed 21 Aug 2026
