would like to get the car make and model that I selected on my reservation. Garage pick up station closed immediately after we picked up the car keys. would have liked to be able to ask a Budget employee a question or two on car operation before we left the garage.Reviewed 8 Sept 2025

There was a 2-hour line to pickup the car when we got to the airport. I had to cancel the reservation and book with Alamo (which, along with the 4 other car rental agencies, had a short line) to make our event on time. The Alamo agent told me that Budget does this every day, by offering low teaser rates without disclosing that you'll have to wait 2-hours+ to pick up the vehicle. I was sent to pick up a car from a far location where they brought the car from the airport and i could have just picked it up from there... bad allocation of resources. The gentleman at the Van Horne location is the kindest, sweetest and most helpful, but I was sent a heavy SUV when i reserved a medium sedan. Had to drive to the airport to exchange the car. The gentleman at the airport counter was also very helpful and professional. Not too impressed by the person over the phone (maybe a manager) that seemed lazy and unwilling to do the minimum work required, i overheard a conversation and the typical illiterate attitude towards customers that is inherited from the Middle Eastern person literally said" if the customer is not happy, they can go somewhere else".... Replace that kind of employee; they don't do anyone any good.Reviewed 6 Sept 2025
