The original vehicle we picked up had a tire with a slow leak and the passenger seat was very stained. We returned it the next day and were given a different vehicle with no issues. The rental agent was very nice and helpful. Upon return of the vehicle we were charged a refueling fee even though we filled the tank at a station just outside the return center. At pick-up they tried to give me wrong vehicles and told me that my agreement was for a premium sedan and not a premium SUV Cadillac XT6 or similar. Told me they could put me in a SUV for additional money. Finally agreed to give me Buick Enclave for no additional cost after debating for 20 minutes.Reviewed 15 Jul 2026

The car was absolutely filthy when we picked it up as it had Nova Scotia plates on it and must’ve drove it through bug infested areas to the airport. Then we got to destination to notice back seat was filthy. The price for rental cars in Newfoundland is absolutely crazy!Reviewed 15 Jul 2026

I lived the ease of scheduling with Kayak. I hated dealing with the desk at Schipol. They were rude, dismissive, and intrusive. They didn't accept either of my Visa or Mastercard (Revolut, Wise, Discover). And they asked to see my wallet to see if any of my other cards could be used. They were argumentative and dismissed me without being solution oriented or empathetic. It would be nice to have a little flexibility on drop off / pick up times. My rental was 10am pick up so was expected to drop off at 10am although my flight was not until 2PM. To get the car for the additional few hours (12PM/1PM) would have costed me another $150 which was not worth it to me. All other rental companies give grace periods for free to allow for varying flight times .Reviewed 14 Jul 2026

#1 The line isn't a bother to get the car. But I've never experienced a line to pick up the car. We got our reservation and waited in line, in 90° heat for 20min. #2 I was charged twice. I was told my credit card didnt go through. IMPOSSIBLE, so we run it again. Again im told it declined. So I pull out my debit card and she says, it went through. Then once outside I see I had been charges on my debt card and credit card. The exact same amount. #3 I could have sworn I had prepaid for the car. Only to be charged again at the counter. I needed to extend my rental. I called 4, 3 and 2 days in advance, dozens of different times each day. yes 2 of those dats were weekend days. No one ever answered or got back to me when I left a message. Communication is very poor at the Moncton Airport location. That has been my experience.Reviewed 14 Jul 2026
