The pick up was slow because the renting broker did not complete the full insurance for the car, it kept giving errors. Budget / Avis is not reachable through the phone, nor are the offices helpful. I could not reach them as I wanted to extend my rental, which left me in a very diffıcult situation. Drop off in Lille (France) was a nightmare. The office phone number on the contract was wrong. Trying to reach them through their general number was not possible. I'm still waiting for them to return my deposit. It's an absolute nightmare to work with them or get anything done, whether you're trying through the phone or in their offices. I would like to request my deposit ASAP please.Reviewed 3 Jun 2026
