8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel. Lovely big bed and good shower. They went to a lot of trouble with breakfast to make sure there was a wonderful choice of healthy (and not so healthy, but delicious!) things to eat.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were amazing here, despite their limited English. I accidentally left my laptop at the hotel and they tried 5 times to ring me before they got through - I picked up later that evening. Other than that, the hotel was clean, breakfast was substantial and parking was a breeze. All I could expect and more.
Cons: Cesana itself is a bit run down - nothing to do with the hotel though.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Towels, bed, coffee machine, heating, balcony, location, bathroom equipement
Cons: Lack of frige, the smell of humidity in the bathroom
7.5 Good

Cons: Strange how you still have to pay cash for certain things in Italy. Odd.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property is in the heart of Cesana. The rooms are extremely clean and nice.
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the coffee/cappuccino for Breakfast: a kind of Nescafé which decrease the great quality of the food proposed.

Cons: everything was OK
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Good location, charming town, worth a visit.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Unfortunately we have to say that we were totally disappointed with this hotel. With a price of 140€ a night for a double room we had to cope with low water pressure in the shower, an old showerhead, an old radiator and in general with a bathroom that urgently needs refurbishment. Twice in the morning the breakfast was not ready when we came on time and had to wait for almost 30 minutes. Another time we could not enter the breakfast room because it had not been prepared yet on time! Even then there were missing general things… In addition, the breakfast buffet became emptier every morning. Like we got the rests of the day before. There was not even time to have butter unpacked from the plastic. Furthermore, we have not had constantly hot water in the shower for 2 days! We needed to shower in another room. Nobody ever apologised for this and did not grant a reduction. The staff was friendly, though. But on breakfast time they rather occurred stressed out and sleepy to manage everything. All in all we would not recommend this hotel because we did not get the service we paid for. It was not good value for money.

Pros: Friendly reception. The balcony. The proximity to the ski lifts. Overall it offers solid value for money. Seems it's being renovated, but slowly, bit by bit.
Cons: The floor carpet, the bathtub curtain, the shower handle, the rusty shelves in the ski storage room, the scrambled eggs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything perfect.
Cons: Nothing

Hotel Edelweiss & Spa - Cesana Torinese - Bar

Comfortable and cosy, rooms at the Edelweiss come with carpeted floors and wooden furniture. They all feature free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV with satellite channels. The restaurant with fireplace offers Italian cuisine and drinks are available from the bar. Guests can relax in the garden with tables and chairs or stroll into the town centre only 5 minutes' walk away. Excursions are available around the Alp Delfinato mountains.
6.3 Good
Pros: Our room was very clean and because it was on a corner it had two windows and was therefore nice and light. The hotel was within walking distance of the stores and restaurants.
Cons: The hotel personnel were not overly welcoming or friendly. There was a bar in the lobby that never seemed to be staffed. On one occasion at around 7pm my husband wanted to have a coffee and there was no one at the bar or front desk,. He rang the bell at the front desk several times and finally a staff member came from the restaurant and told him he would have to wait because they were all having dinner. He finally was able to get a coffee because someone from the staff came to the bar to make coffee for themselves. The breakfast buffet was not replenished so if you weren't there right when it opened at 8am, the odds were you wouldn't get any fresh cut up fruit or warm eggs. There were tea bags available but no hot water unless you requested it. Anything besides regular coffee was an extra charge. The ski lifts are not within walking distance. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room for making tea or instant coffee. The space between the toilet and the wall in the bathroom is so narrow that only a child could actually sit on the toilet with there legs in front of them. Anyone else would have to sit on the toilet "side saddle." The street noise was pretty loud in the morning, and the walls were also very thin and therefore easy to hear the noise from other rooms.
6.3 Good
Pros: We had 2 rooms : 1 double and 1 quadruple which were close to each other. The rooms were big and in the double room we had a nice bathroom with bath, toilet and bidet. The quadruple had a balcony. Nice view from the hotel and beautiful dog in the hotel, but a pity he is always on a chain. Open fire in the lobby and breakfast room, piano. The woman in the breakfast room was helpful. The location in good, easy to reach and close to the center of Cesana and close to restaurants.
Cons: The hotel looks more than a 3-star hotel than a 4-star hotel. The receptionist Olga was only correct but not friendly. The mattresses were soft with old fashioned sheets with woolen blankets (in stead of pouch blankets) which don't suit a 4 star hotel. The breakfast had only white bread and no whole wheat bread. The main door of the quadruple was out of order, but was repaired the next day. The door of the bathroom in the double room was also out of order and impossible to close. The charges for the spa are 15 euro per person and has to be booked in advance. The restaurant also has to be booked in advance and was already full during all the days we stayed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Owner was very friendly and gave me materials to clean my bike
Cons: The spa was closed. The reason i booked this hotel was for the spa, which i was looking forward to after a big cycle
7.9 Good
Pros: The receptionist was very friendly and nice, she gave us a extra room when the requested twin beds room was not available, breakfast was very good and plenty of choice
Cons: furniture a bit old
6.7 Good
Pros: We liked the strategic position of the hotel and the large breakfast included. The city center is super close as the lifts to access the ski resort.
Cons: The room above the restaurant might get a bit noisy in the morning and evening, the spa (not included in the final price - unexpected for the price we paid) didn’t have resting beds and not enough towels and wardrobes. Careful that they might ask you to pay for extra towel that you are not using.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff
Cons: The Spa
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful, good breakfast, excellent location for skiing with access towards Monte della Luna or France and also towards Sauze D'Oulx/Sestriere
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic week of skiing. The hotel is very central to the Milky Way with easy access to the slopes through the hotel shuttle service. Excellent breakfast, clean and helpful staff. We had some car trouble and Bruno did all he could to help us. We look forward to staying with you again. Bravissimo and grazie.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good!
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff: Jessica. Breakfast: artisanal sausage, cheese and croissante.
Cons: Despite the hotel is named Edelweiss & SPA, actually guests must ask for the SPA entrance in advance and pay 20 euro per person additionally. Despite we booked rooms 6 months in advance, we were forced to move from one room to another room for the first night. After we were "upgraded" to suite, which was not very comfortable for 2 families. We accepted it because we didn't want to change the room again for the second night. Breakfast coffee was just awful.
