Pros: Because all rental cars were booked at the airport, I used your service to get a rental car in town at Huntsville. I took a cab to get to the rental office. Enterprise adjusted the rate for government use since I was working at NASA MSFC. The rental car performed well during our stay that week. Enterprise provided me a ride back to the airport after I returned the car, which I greatly appreciated.

Pros: The van was easy to drive and with the seats folded down, held everything that needed to be loaded.

They changed their policies
Cons: I've used Enterprise three times since November and each time I was told a different amount for a deposit. The first rental I was told 20%, the second time $150 and this most recent time $200. I was told that I had to pay the deposit plus the full rental amount prior to getting the vehicle and that they all had to be on the same card. This has not been the case before. Previously, I paid when I returned the car and used a different card than the one I used for the deposit.
The associate was very aggressive and intimidating in trying to get me to get their insurance after I had already turned it down also.
I do not plan to use them again.

No car after confirmation
Cons: Called three times and dropped off at confirmed time to have no car available.
Pickup was 30 minutes late and no car was still available.
Local representative was happy to have me stranded at their office twice in same day.

Car turn in surprise
Pros: Enterprise slogan is we pick you up - they did pick me up at my hotel and the processing met my expectations
Cons: I called to extend the rental and to confirm my request to drive me to the airport when I turned in the car at 3:00 PM. I arrived promptly at 3 PM and was told they made no commitment to get me to the airport and that no one was available to drive me. I was left on my own to get to the airport. I will avoid Enterprise in the future.

Cons: First, they don't have the car ready when you go to pick it up, so we had to walk around the lot setting off lock beepers to find the car.
The worst part is the car absolutely reeked of smoke though it clearly had no smoking stickers. It was so bad that I returned the vehicle for another one. They gave me another one, but it had ZERO gas in the tank.
This is a poorly run operation!
Pros: Avis rental car at HSV has consistently delivered great cars and great service for every rental and is superior to most of the other rental options at the airport. Good car selection and great staff

Superb service all around
Pros: Toyota Camry was a great car. Comfortable, economical. Avis attendants were professional and prompt.
Cons: Can't think of anything.

Pros: The rental process was very smooth. The car was exceptionally clean and the service was very friendly. I would definitely rent from this location again.

Cons: They didn't tell me when I made the reservation with my DEBIT card that there would be a $200 more deposit to even receive the car since i do not have a major credit card. And even then they wouldn't take my debit card bc its prepaid. Luckily i found a rental car with another company that worked with us.

Pros: Service was friendly and prompt. Car was very nice.
Cons: I called to extend my reservation one day. The staff was happy to help me and informed me that all was in order to have the extra day at the same rate. Upon check out, I was surprised to find an "extension charge" for adding a day.

Cons: Had to use Avis personnel because there was no one there from Budget. Computer's were down and it was a long wait.
Pros: I liked the roomy vehicle that I rented it was very comfortable.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that I was misinformed over and over from start to finish, and I won't be renting from Alamo again.

Pros: The price of the rental car.
Cons: I don't recommend Alamo because most people I know don't own credit cards. We don't have one and this resulted in us taking a chance on A) getting stranded or B) wrecking. The only good thing here was the rental price.

Smelled like gas
Pros: No lines/no wait. Very friendly @ HSV airport.
Cons: The car had a very strong smell of gasoline inside the vehicle. Also NONE of the outlets worked allowing us to charge cell phones. Phones died. We were w/o GPS.
Pros: Car was clean, pick up quick (< 5 mins), and tank filled when picked up.
Cons: Final price was twice what was quoted despite no damage/use out of the ordinary. Asked for no additional insurance, but was presented with two confusing options at checkout (partial or full), neither of which were explained clearly or given the impression were actually optional. Will be a while before I rent from either Alamo or National again.

Long wait at hav to pick car
Pros: Nice car and features. Clean. Easy drop off.
Cons: Pick up was delayed. Also I felt cheated that after the booking the agent told me i have to wait while they have to clean and refuel the car and did not even bother to say how long. I probably waited 30-45 min including time spent in line
Cons: Everything was great except that I had requested a compact car and the smallest vehicle available when I arrived at the counter was a Toyota RAV4 SUV. If I hadn't been comfortable with a larger car, I would have been in trouble.
Pros: I didn't like the type of vehicle originally given; they swapped the car out for something more to my liking, no questions and no hassle.

Cons: Specifically asked at Nashville if I could change my payment method at drop off (different location) and was told yes.
At drop off they said they can't do it, that I need to call Nashville, and they can.
Called Nashville and they can't do it over the phone, I need to go to that location (i'm in a different state now).
Called customer care- and they just had an attitude with me telling me if I want to change it I need to go to Nashville.
