Overall good. However, we found the previous renter’s cell phone in the Qi console charger the day after we picked up the car (which was Sept. 8). This discovery required us making a special trip back to the Enterprise rental counter (at Las Vegas) on Sept. 9 where we waited in line and turned in the phone (that belonged to a “Chris”) before we could leave town and start our trip. We first called Enterprise and explained what happened but we received no help or guidance. Also we found an empty Red Bull aluminum can under the front passenger seat and an old credit card receipt under the driver’s seat. We hope that Enterprise was able to get the cell phone back to Chris (who we were able to talk to and explain to him that we were turning in his phone to the LV customer service desk).

Turn-in at the Ridgecrest office was superb! Car condition was excellent! Pick-up counter was manned with just two agents for regular customers, took about 30 minutes to get to an agent. Had no clue about being able to check-in on-line. I still don’t know what the on-line check-in entails.

Car rental was a bait and switch. Get to the counter and find out that somewhere in the fine print we had selected an electric vehicle. It was $20/day extra to get a gas vehicle. We had selected a Toyota Corolla or equivalent which is what we ended up with for more money. Don't remember ever seeing an all electric Toyota Corolla. Very deceptive.

Kayak advertised we would get a suv compact. When arrived at budget, they offered a small sedan.we were counting on a small suv. When we told them and showed them what we booked they said it is kayaks fault for misguided customers.

It was a terrible experience. I’d called Budget on November 17th ( if they record their phone calls, you can verify that I had this conversation) and asked to upgrade my vehicle to a premium SUV. The person at budget said that it would be no problem. When I got to the counter, the person at the counter said I had booked a 15 seater van. They told me there were no premium SUVs available and the person behind the counter suggested I go ask the other rental car companies if they had a vehicle for me. The lady behind the counter offered me a Chevy Traverse for $500 more than I’d been quoted for the premium SUV. There was nothing I could do but accept it, we had to get on the road and drive to our destination. If Budget is willing to do the right thing and reimburse me for the overage that they charged me, I’d consider using Budget again otherwise, that’s the last time I’ll be using Budget in the future.

I enjoyed my rental car with budget. It was a good value and the car was clean. Drop off was easy and convenient. The center is a decent ways away from the airport but the shuttle was a good option. I had a to wait longer than I would have liked for my car to be ready (30 minutes) but when I picked it up it was clean and washed.

I was not informed that the location closed early. It’s Las Vegas and most places are open 24 hours. When my flight arrived and we got to the pick up location, it was closed. Upon calling customer service, they wanted to charge me more than $400 to get another vehicle at another location. I ended up renting with another company and was unable to get the Budget vehicle that I had previously reserved.

I made the reservation then called to confirm the vehicle and particulars. Two days before travel I called the Las Vegas thrifty to confirm again. Imagine the surprise when I arrived to find that I was assigned a minivan instead of the Ford transit I had booked and was told I could not rent it there and return it in Salt Lake City without paying an additional $800. The nice lady showed me the booking and it was the code for a minivan. A minivan is not equivalent to the Transit. I had seven adults and luggage which I why I rented such an expensive vehicle through this site. Contact me.

Booked on line received an email in bold print “your car rental is secured “ ,travelled to opposite end of Vegas strip to be told there were no cars available The desk agent told us when they get busy he could have 15-20 more customers who booked on line and where confirmed show up and find no car available . Hertz did not have a car when I arrived at the start time of my reservation, and said it could be one or several hours before one showed up. I rented a car from a different agency instead. It then took 4 phone calls and 2 hours to get a refund. 0/10 experience.

Check oil light was on. Car was dirty inside & outside. I left my two jackets returning the first car 12/24 & it hasn't been returned. Was charged a crazy amount of money for fuel svc. in the amount of $124.63.

They sent me a receipt saying I had a car rental but when I arrived I do not and they had no cars available. I was out an uber ride to and from the place. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE!!! Be warned.

It was a bit chaotic at the pickup counter, apparently they were out of cars in Las Vegas? But luckily they had the large car I had booked and we were off! Great car, no issues. The people at the counter were lovely despite the mayhem.

Jacqueline was absolutely atrocious to deal with. I have never seen such a deflated individual serving customers. She was rude, curt and quite frankly her customer service left a lot to be desired. I truly hope her employer can and will provide some proper customer service training and monitors this individuals performance improvement plan.

This company is very unprofessional. The driver that picked us up from the airport was yelling at the group and being very ignorant to everyone because he did not make more than 20$ in tips. The front counter girl was on the phone with her I am assuming boyfriend while we were trying to re book as she said our booking was canceled because our flight was late. She was very unprofessional, told me to give her my credit card then just over charged me on everything without even asking me or telling me the cost of all these extra costs….. Then gave me a car that was you can tell just returned as it was dirty on the inside and had less then a quarter tank of gas. The car was also left in gear when I entered it. I will be contacting head office over the next few days to try and get some of the money back that they over charged me. Put simple I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AS IT IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED! The driver that drove us back to the airport after our trip I will say was professional and treated us very well that is the only good thing I have to say Maybe he should be running this division of this company

If you don’t pick up vehicle within 4 hours of your selected time, they cancel your reservation, no refund. If you want to reactivate the reservation you pay a heavy fee. I changed my flight which put me past the original pickup time.

Our plane was delayed and by the time we arrived at the car rental place it was closed. We called the number and it was closed too. We had to call an Uber to get a ride to our hotel.
