Pros: Free water bottle refill machine inside the Hertz. Allowing pickup of "manager special electric car" a few hours earlier before .appointment,. Cons: Does not allow any refund if dissatisfied with car rental, no refunds of any kind for cars that are returned early. at the same time, charges full day rental price. extra $11 USD charge for electric car prepaid charge up at Hertz counter. Counter staff lied about electric car range (says it was 200 miles, was dashboard display was only 130 miles range on 80% charge during highway high speed dirving). Electric car is super slow trying to charge, takes over 5 hours to fully charge at ChargePoint stations. Also very limited spots and places for charging purely electric cars. After this experience, I will NEVER want rent an purely electric car again for any planned road trips longer than 50 miles roundtrip, no matter how cheaply it was priced (eg. ~25 USD per day). Eletric cars only seems to be good for very short trip.under 50 miles total.Reviewed 14 Apr 2026

Hertz did not have a car when I arrived at the start time of my reservation, and said it could be one or several hours before one showed up. I rented a car from a different agency instead. It then took 4 phone calls and 2 hours to get a refund. 0/10 experience.Reviewed 21 Mar 2026

Check oil light was on. Car was dirty inside & outside. I left my two jackets returning the first car 12/24 & it hasn't been returned. Was charged a crazy amount of money for fuel svc. in the amount of $124.63.Reviewed 3 Jan 2026

They sent me a receipt saying I had a car rental but when I arrived I do not and they had no cars available. I was out an uber ride to and from the place. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE!!! Be warned.Reviewed 2 Jan 2026

It was a bit chaotic at the pickup counter, apparently they were out of cars in Las Vegas? But luckily they had the large car I had booked and we were off! Great car, no issues. The people at the counter were lovely despite the mayhem.Reviewed 17 Oct 2025

Store closed and we were stranded with our baby. We tried calling 2-3 in advance to move reservation to earlier I fear that flight might be delayed and hertz rep said they could not update for me. I tried kayak reps and line kept dropping and could not connect with a rep until the day of when the store closed and I chose the emergency option .
