7.0 Good
Pros: Location and view over the harbour are very beautiful. Spa facilities excellent Furnishings, bathroom fittings good
Cons: Room was rather small. Cleanliness was poor. Mould marks on bathroom ceiling. Filth behind the bar where breakfast was set up Breakfast service slow and quality indifferent The Jetty Restaurant "OK" but quite expensive
8.0 Excellent
Pros: There was nothing to dislike
Cons: I enjoyed what I had
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is great, I have stayed a couple of times previously.
Cons: My only comment would be that the temperature in the dining room is very often too warm. Even during breakfast the following morning the room was too warm.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel continues to deliver time after time. The staff are engaging in a helpful way [just the right level to make you feel looked after], nothing is too much trouble. It just feels good to stay here. The beds are comfortable, the showers powerful and complimentary Gin & Sherry make a nice touch, don't forget to bring your tonic and lemon [ice always available from room service]. The hot breakfasts are amazing, fresh local ingredients cooked to order [so much nicer than the buffet hot offering you find in so many hotels nowadays]. The array of fruits breads, juices, cereals and much more further enhance the morning experience. They also provide good coffee freshly prepared. A great way to start the day
Cons: One very small gripe is that whilst Nespresso coffee machines are in the room they only supply non original capsules which dilutes the nice upmarket touch.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and spa
Cons: Bar prices very steep
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The service, location and food
Cons: Lack of parking

9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were there the week before lockdown so restaurant closed but they did room service on full menu served course by course when we were ready. Definitely going back when this crisis is all over and we are allowed.
Cons: No complaints at all, great stay.

Pros: James on reception who welcomed us on arrival was extremely helpful and attentive. The bedroom and bathroom was spacious with everything you needed plus a lovely view of the river. Room service breakfast very tasty.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Large bright room overlooking river. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Being charged £5 to return my phone charger which I left behind
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just great. We had a lovely visit enhanced by the welcome for our little dog, which we were able to easily walk along the river and adjacent park. Wonderful atmosphere in the lounge/dining areas. Terrific staff. We enjoyed having great breakfasts in our suite, efficiently served.
Cons: We thought that a £20 per day surcharge for our small well behaved dog was unnecessary, as we were obliged to book an expensive/premium suite to enable her to accompany us.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent
Cons: I went on to the patio and couldnt back in to the hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good variety of food at breakfast fresh and yummy
Cons: Our bed was bit worn down
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was outstanding with great views of the river from the room. Rooms were spacious and the bathroom was a good size. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with your hot dishes being cooked to order. The full English kept us going all day
Cons: Why have Nespresso Coffee machines in the room and then give cheap after market capsules, false economy. If you can’t afford the correct capsules then remove the machines and leave good quality coffee instead.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very enjoyable stay. The beds are extremely comfy I didn’t want to get out of mine.
Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy. My only negative is I did try to book in with the spa and was unable to get any treatments. I was hoping to have a massage. Lesson learnt book the spa sooner!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The cup of tea in the restaurant at breakfast was awful. Otherwise excellent.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Room was good and bathroom ok. View from restaurant was to die for.
Cons: Parking was dreadful, arriving at 6pm meant that the Spa was in full swing and the parking was manic. Took 3 loops before a spot became available. Te receptionist made a customer in front of her wait while she dealt with a printer...that's not customer focus in my book. Had and evening meal and the restaurant was that dark (mood lighting) that I had to use my phone to see the menu. And almost £5 for water for the table for one, is just a rip off. Breakfast was much lighter and the staff friendly, but I had an upset stomach from the evening meal so couldn't enjoy more than cereal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff where welcoming and helpful The decor in the hotel was really nice The general location was really lovely and the views were good.
Cons: N/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff who were simply excellent. Samantha in particular was one of the most helpful people I've met in a long time....went out of her way to help and is a credit to the hotel.
Cons: Car parking is limited. We were lucky enough to be able to park at the rear of the hotel but only at the expense of a staff member moving their vehicle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere and decor is lovely. The staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic.
Cons: We loved it all!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious. Room was lovely and decadent and comfortable.
Cons: We couldn't find a parking space nearby both on check in and the following morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here before but not for a few years so we did expect the high degree of comfort that we experienced. Parking was a little bit of a problem initially but it was a Saturday and there was both a wedding group and a large birthday party celebrating so after dropping off our bags we had to move our car to one of the very nearby car parks which are not expensive. We did manage to get our car parked in the area opposite the hotel a little later when the birthday group left. We had a fine dinner with an excellent Picpoul de Pinet. Breakfast also was top quality with a wide range of choices, including a faultless Eggs Benedict. Coffee could maybe have been a bit stronger but that it my taste. We also enjoyed the spacious room and bath. Also for beer lovers The Crafty Tap just a few metres away serves some very good craft ales.
Cons: all good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I wanted a bar meal and the bar had closed. But the staff organised one for me asi had a very difficult day attending a funeral
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing friendly staff breakfast excellent and dinner the restaurant is first class.

7.0 Good
Pros: Staff excellent Breakfast great Cleanliness
Cons: Pillows awful too soft They knew previously it was a birthday occasion but not even a sparkler in our dessert

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Second time staying here. It's cozy, clean and breakfast is always delicious!!
Cons: Nothing, all good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find and parking on the front. A great warm welcome, quickly shown to my room which was comfortably equipped, double bed, teas ,coffee & biscuits and a modern en-suite. The bed was comfortable and there were a plethora of electrical outlets and the room was spotlessly clean. A wide selection on the breakfast menu, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon followed the next morning by a mouth watering full English, wonderfully cooked and presented. I would thoroughly recommend the Grosvenor Lodge and will indeed book there again
Cons: Leaving!

Cons: The bed mattress was terrible and gave us a back ache. The size of the room was really small and there was hardly any room for our suitcases.

Pros: lovely breakfast. nice room which was a little tired but we understand that the painters are already booked! Lovely Host and welcoming sitting room with a log fire and a corkscrew for the inevitable.. No TV in room, ( I don't care but, just so you know!) it is a gorgeous quiet location
Cons: could do with new mattresses they are tired. but it is clear that there is a lot of renewing going on. so hopefully its on the list. think the springs may be done! but still had an excellent nights sleep.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely obliging host. Attractive house, spacious and well-appointed room. Everything seems to have been thought of for a comfortable night away from home.
Cons: No TV in the bedroom, however there was a very comfortable living room with TV for guests. So not really a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mike made us feel very much at home, nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and comfortable,, the location perfect, only a couple of minutes from Bournmouth Airport. We had to depart too early for breakfast due to the flight time, but the breakfast room looked very inviting.
Cons: We did have a small problem initially finding the property as it was a dark and very wet evening, and had to phone for diretions, although we were very close. A note in the confirmation saying it is next door to the 'smokery' may be helpful for future guests.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and near all amenities
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location close to beach and town centre
Cons: Our room was quite a distance from reception, but not a major problem really.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location of this hotel is pretty unbeatable. I had a sea view across the bay, which was an unexpected delight and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: It has seen better days I'm afraid. The very epitome of faded grandeur with every surface yellowing with age and curtains that stick and shudder in their tracks. The toilet bowl was almost black where it had been left to discolour and at night it was cold in the room, despite the weather being very warm for the time of year. Also, there is no parking on site and the car park next door added £18 to the cost of my stay...
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was a disaster. We could not stay. We were given a room next to their waste hold area. The window would not open because all the rubbish bins were just outside. The room was tight and horrible. We left immediately.
Cons: See our comments of 'what we liked'. Terrible hotel. Needs total modernisation, as location is good. Need new staff, training, etc. avoid staying there at all costs!
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No cleaner, no replacement of towels, Ted coffee
6.5 Good
Pros: Location was great. Very close to restraunts, parking, the Bournemouth Pier and Bournemouth Park However, if you are looking at the cheaper rooms you be better served by Premier Innnext door. Service was poor at the front desk and breakfast and breakfast whilst adequate was not at the quality I would have expected. Staff were very disjointed; my pregnant wife asked for some decaf-tea for our room and was advised "the bar might have some". Would have expected them to sort it out. Room location was in the back of beyond with stair only access. Cheaper rooms at this hotel not recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything lovely place to stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good service and location
Cons: It was all good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: quirky little room with great view, would ask for different room next time as was tiny and me being 6ft 5 struggled with bed and space
7.0 Good
Pros: I have known the hotel for many years, have attended business functions there. The breakfast coffee was awful, sadly, everythingelse was ok. Service with a smile was missing somehow. A brilliant place to stay, close to the beach, town centre etc.
Cons: We had a good stay, comfortable for what we wanted. The bar gave good service.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: It is in a very good location and a charming old building
Cons: The room had no windows, I thought we were in a storage cupboard, the shower kept changing temperature and the shower head kept falling down. The bed was tiny and hard. It was a really dreadful hotel.

Pros: Quiet. A pool with changing room, Snooker table room. Football table. Breakfast was great. Calm atmosphere. Staff were friendly and gave clear information at the start. Staff were helpful when we arrived late and hungry food was offered (I paid of course) from the bar and they let me take it to my elderly Mum's room.
Cons: Swimming pool too cold for non swimmers and kids. Dirty chair in the room, wipeable would be more hygienic than fabric. Very weak shower. Iron blew the electric and replacement iron took too long to arrive, I had to ask twice (the delay nearly made me late for a wedding), then two were delivered by mistake. Room service would be a bonus.
