The hotel is simple but welcoming, the location is excellent for snorkeling and diving, the staff and management are professional and reliable The restaurant should offer some local food in addition to the standard international food
everything is good
Mirage Village is more like a camping than a hotel. Anyway, among its advantages are: slightly remote situation from the main tourist area with the restaurants, low prices. We probably got luck with room #26, cause it had all of the possible insects - mosquitos, ants and begbugs.
The staff were very helpful, not like other egyptians as they are bedouin. The hotel is straight on the beach, perfect for diving, and just a short walk to the main area of Dahab. A very peaceful location. The pictures are dressed up a bit, the hotel is nice, but not quite as nice as the photos.
The level of service was very good...all staff, inc reception, waiters, diving operators, masseurs etc were all polite and ready to help in all time. The chill out area is very relaxing!
rooms were amazing, no
Great hotel with an amazing outside shower in the rear patio and views to the sea. The sun loungers were so uncomfortable other than about 30 of them then we ended up going out quite a lot. Beach was also quite stoney so bring shoes for the water and the taxi at the hotel was private to the hotel and whilst a good price to go into town, if you wanted to go out on a trip, it was very expensive so ge the number of a taxi driver from town and use them instead.
Excellent facilities, quiet private beach and excellent service. Slightly too far out of town but they had a shuttle service, which was excellent if you could get on it.
Extremely relaxing hotel. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. The room and public areas were kept very clean. Restaurant very clean and food was of a high standard. The dive school, at the hotel, was very professional. The air conditioning fan was noisy
The hotel is great, good location, very relaxing!
New building hotel, clean rooms and very good diving centre Staff wasn't professional
The service and the staff attitude
This hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the generally food was pretty good. The breakfast selection was very good. It is qutie far away from town and internet charges are very expensive.
Loction, architecture, room service, quality and varity of the food did not match a 5 star hotel. Were poor.
The staff were very friendly, and helpfull. And our privacy was respected at all times. The only problem that l experienced, was that there were stray cats around the beach restaurant.
Beautiful architecture, beautiful gardens, nice bay view full of activity (if there is enough wind!)
To be honest nothing - Further stay in Hilton Dahab is unlikely
Friendliness of hotel staff and sinai dive center, hotel location and the beach No water pressure in my bathroom( I was waiting more than 45-60 min to put water in my bath tube - it was like chinese drop) . The air conditioning outdoor units were over my ceiling for the whole building and I almost couldn't sleep cause of noise and vibrations. Old , scratched, dusty furniture.
friendly, clean, basic, great diving
The welcoming atmosphere, local knowledge, range of facilities, proximity to beach and main resort area, access to diving, information provided. The hotel is lovely - no pressure just relax. Gilly especially makes your stay just great.
the friendly staff who all couldnt do enough to help A big thank you to you all You have to sort out the credit/debit card issue, we did have a problem as the hotel couldnt take any cards for payment.
The staff at Bedouin Moon are fantastic. They are very welcoming and helpful. The location, just out of the main area of Dahab is perfect to relax and enjoy what Dahab has to offer in a quiet environment. The pool is a highlight, as is the yoga room and on-site Dive Centre. The rooms are a good size, clean, and serviced daily. Great views to both the mountains and the Red Sea and snorkelling literally across the road. Will come back to stay here again.
I went there to relax with my friend and staff members kept hitting on her and asking for phone numbers and going out on dates with her. It almost ruined our vacation not being able to feel at home in the hotel. it was horrible
The Dahab Plaza Hotel was amazing!!! It maybe a 3 star but the services are 5 star. Villa who works the front desk and the owner make you feel at home. Excellant room and location. Will be back.
a very hospitable owner and staff, convenient location.
Emad the manager couldn't have been more helpful - breakfast is free at Same Same restaurant on the beach which is very good. Emad told me that they don't clean the rooms everyday but would if you asked. This meant that the floor of my room was often dirty and had to wash feet again before going out! However the room had free air con - fridge and a TV that had BBC World Service on it and a film channel that was English but subtitled into Arabic for what I paid I would not complain Only that it is a bit behind the main drag and due to building works between the beach and the hotel you are walking through pretty much a building site it is a very short walk however it is very dark and dirty and a bit scary at night
Emad, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, AC worked well, etc. Bed was pretty comfortable. Everything was good. The breakfast at Same Same was terrible!
The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located very conveniently - just 2 minutes from restaraunts and shops. Free bottled water, tea, coffee and shisha at your request. The owner organized a trip to canyons at a very good price. We had a nice week and we will stay at Dahab Plaza Hotel when we are in Dahab next time.
Welcoming staff and great location.
The hotel is basic and cheap. No frills type of place but comfortable beds and good breakfast a good base if your not expecting the ritz. The w.c's are small and cramped, next to impossible to shower in. towels are not great either. don't let that put you off just be aware that its basic accommodation.
Great service! Mr. Emad took care of everything we needed, including tours to Petra and Israel and a transfer do Cairo. We also had discount in their restaurantes (Fresh Fish and Same Same but Different), the best places to eat in Dahab. Its a great place to stay in Dahab. Clean, no luxury, but confortable, with a nice pool, and free botles of water, coffee and sheesha. Can´t wait to go back there
Very much related to the owner of hotel clients. All stay at the hotel had a feeling like an old friend came to visit and not to the hotel. All requests are executed immediately.Excellent hotel. I am going arrive there. No
The place is very nice, they have a nice swimming pool on the center and free coffee, tea and sheesha. Also a excelent free breakfast in the beach. The location is good just 1 minute walking to the beach. The room is spacious with TV, reliable air-con and hot water. The staff and the owner did everything they could to meke us enjoy our stay. We don't have claims, the hotel is really nice.
It certainly lives up to its name. The staff is extremely friendly, facilities are charming, and the pool is fantastic. The restaurant is also high class. Note that it is a bit far from the city centre (you will need to take a cab). This hotel is a jewel if you want to relax for a while. Sunrise at the hotel is truly paradise on earth.
The staff was amazing and extremely accomodating, also the hotel had a very cozy feeling to it... you felt at home. The tea and shishah daily in the tent under the moon and the stars became an amazing daily ritual.
The staff were very friendly and the organised tours were very good. The location, the rooms - basic and not finished very well, the breakfast - very basic, boring and cold.
Loved this Hotel - the staff were extremely friendly, the pool was great and the rooms were clean and lovely. Little bit far out of the action but only a £2 taxi ride from town
The reception staff were really friendly and it is ideal if you want to lounge around the pool all day Internet was so slow they mind as well not even have it, Food on offer is nice but not fantastic so be prepared to head to town for some better food and more atmosphere
The hotel is situated far enough from town to feel quiet but close enough for a night out in the evening (5-10 min drive or a 30 min stroll along the beach). The quality of the rooms and hotel area is very high and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is amazing. I would recommend the fresh fruit juices and the hotel cats are very cute! Be aware that the beach in front of the hotel may not be suitable for swimming from due to strong currents but there is a lovely pool in the hotel and the staff will arrange trips to local dive sites for you.
Small boutique hotel located 10 minutes from Dahab city and popular scuba diving sites on the Red Sea(Blue Hole & Canyon). Hotel was simple but nice pool and outside eating area. Good value for money and nice place to relax. Cable system was out for 1.5 days so no TV but not a big problem as always outside by the pool or in town to shop, eat & drink
Kindness of the staff, swimming pool with very comfortable sunbeds, quiet. The hotel's restaurant was amazing various and delicious food and very affordable!
Staff was great, always happy to assist Hotel is not in town, only a 15 Egyptian pound taxi ride to town so it's not a big deal but it is too far to walk. Shower was really small.
laid back ,sam the manager was excellent,
Location is fantastic!! Beach is awesome. Pool is good. Lousy comfort regarding beds, pillows. Weird room planning, but a plus for the two story bed for kids. Food is pretty boring.
Good watersports facilities. Excellent Thai restaurant (definitly the best Thai food in Dahab/Sharm). Good beachfront and swimming pool. Activities for kids every day. First impressions of rooms were a bit disapointing - Rather old and run down looking, however they were actually quite comfortable.
Frendly staff, nice food, right on the beach, great hotel area room facilities can be improved
The loction on a beautiful lagoon facing the mountains of the Sinai is superb. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, especially the "seaview" rooms. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Food service is adequate but not enticing at all. Shake up the breakfast service and imorive the dinner menu and prep in the main dining hall. SDidn' try the other options, like the Thai restaurant. Food options in Dahab are fantastic, so the lack of a good dinner menu is not important.
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Well presented and prepared food. Beautifully kept grounds. The room was a little small and under-furnished to be described ' de-luxe' The
they respect the booking ok
The personnel is very friendly and there are a lot of water sport facilities at walking distance. The atmosphere is excellent, feels like "at home" and the environment is beautiful Opening hours of the swimming pool
good location for sports and a sea view I wish the room would be more modern and air condition did work well - very noisy
This was very good value for money. Location is out of the crouds and the access of the beach is excellent ( 50 m as on the photos). The house reef is magic and the diving centre staff very helpfull. This exceptional place price and location wise for 5-7 days long holiday. 1. Any chance to reroute the camel track to avoid the beech where tourists are sunbathings. 2. I am not quite satisfied with the special beduin dinner in the mountains. I realy would expect for such dinner nothing special, but freshly cooked simple athentical beduin food and not the warmed up breakfast and lunch leftovers from hotel. And the jeeps must not have the exhaust smell during the trip.
the location is superb and the food is excellent
really nice staff of restaurant in hotel
the overall design(architecture) of the hotel is beautiful. The location with beach front and backdrop of the desert mountain is picturesque. the room has very basic facilities with rather old bed sheet and bedspread / furniture.
Bediun dinner organized by the hotel, beach equippment.
Graet location on the Red Sea It is an egyptian hotel and not up to the standard of european and american standards( eg. bathrooms are clean but basic). They try very hard to do their best.
The location For such a beautiful location a shame that not a better standard of hotel and a lhot unch that we ordered was served to us cold
Excellent value for money and for a three-star hotel. The staff are very friendly and natural and are incredibly flexible in order to meet guests' needs. Far away from the tourist centre and right by the beach, providing an environment of tranquility and close to nature. Good coral reefs very close to the hotel. Take advantage of the nightly shuttle to Dahab, the town has cute little bars by the seaside and some decent restaurants. Guests were mainly couples and families, no individual travellers or backpackers.
Its beach location was a big plus with plenty of space for outdoor dining. The breakfast and dinner buffet provided plenty of choices and most evenings there was at least one dish of the day over and above the usual choices. Rooms are of a good size and all appear to have an outdoor area with seating for enjoying the shade/sun from your room. Quite and comfortable.
The dining staff were great. Also thought the diving staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the location as well. Drink prices were a rather high. Also thought that the Dive Center prices were on the high side, especially compared to other dive resorts.
The territory small, but is the hotel cosiest and convenient for residing in Dahab
Overall, a lovely hotel. Great location, nice rooms and grounds, and well priced. Breakfast buffet was okay, as was dinner buffet. Staff were for the most part acceptable. One issue - sent a bag of washing away and it returned the following day, with all items noticably shrunk. Took 3 days of constant complaints to get a resolution, which ultimately required photgraphic evidence of the previous size of the clothing, being told it was immpossible for the clothes to have shrunk, having 4 staff question me in an office and deny liability, and the Houskeeping Manager glaring at me and telling me that it was impossible. The item in question - a ladies dress that was shrunk to the size of a child's shirt. Very disappointing and very poor customer service ethic. The resolution - reimbursement of about 1/2 the value of the "most" ruined clothes, in Euro (I'm Australian)
Snorkeling excursions, diving Right on beach, but not good snorkeling, no coffee makers and microwaves in rooms, hard to get change, and no jet ski's.
A lot of very nice touches over the festive period (stockings for children delivered to individual rooms, a very relaxed cocktail event, good balance for adults and families); the programme of events was low-key but very professionally organised - not tacky or forced. Itravelled as a single parent and found the environment very supportive. The pre-arranged transfer from airport to hotel was chaotic and resulted in a stressful one hour delay - but I think this was a one-off fault and the return transfer was faultless. No one explained that there was a mosquito eradication device available in the room (hidden in a cupboard) and if I'd known this it might have prevented my daughter and I getting quite a few irritating bites.
it was very peaceful in a very good location weather was good for a 5***** hotel i found the evening meals were poor and i also found that there was no bar to go to after the evening meal, you could only go and sit in the tented area outside which in summer time would be fab but in winter it is too cold to stay there
The staff at the reception was very professional and helpful I think that the remainder of the staff (serving) especially during the day time at the beach restaurant could improve quite a lot. They were not service oriented, not smiling, it felt like you were asking them a favor if you were ordering a drink.
of the Dahab hotels, it is one of the very best (Hilton is also in the same leage). The location is ideal, quiet enough, gorgeous beach, but still close to everything. Pleasent mix at that time of the year mostly of pensioners from German-speaking countries and people coming for diving and wind-surfing, a few Russian guests. Service not overly-eager in an annoying way but very attentive still. good pool and outdoor seating. unlike what has been commented, Wifi works very well and is affordable, with paying for hours of actual use only. Like it very much (stayed also in the Hilton at previous visits). none
Nothing at allllllllllll Even with u as booking.com they change our booking when we arrived to check in then they let us pay in advance our stay even at the check in @ 1h30 A.M. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! weiiirrrrrddddd
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yasmina Hotel. The staff were very accomodating and charming. Mohammed books the best trips in Dahab and we loved riding the Quad bikes into the desert. The hotel is one of the most beautifully architectured buildings in Dahab and the pool was always clean and inviting. We thouroughly recommend this hotel, especially if you want all the conveniences you need at a bargain price. We will be back....
thought the diving instructors were very helpful and informative. we initally had some problems with our booked room, but the staff allowed us to move rooms without any hassle.
Helpful staff, nice room
Cute room, nice people, good location and very relaxing!
Excellent location. Quiet, but just a few minutes walk from the centre of things. Helpful staff. We booked a double room; but on arrival, we were given a twin-bedded room. This hotel seemed to class a double room as a room with either one double bed, or a room with 2 single beds. After 2 nights they moved us to a double room - with one double bed. The type of room we booked.
Quiet and relaxing location right on the beach and close to the local "downtown". Outside the tourist uproar but close enough if you want it. Small supermarkets and a choice of restaurants close at hand. The special feature of this hotel is the staff. They really take care of their guests.
A great place excellent value for money. Friendly helpful staff, great Dive Centre. Good breakfast and restaurant. Happily go back there.
Location, ambience, price, Furry Cup Bar...... We were really impressed with the hotel and the services. It certainly is not 5star but it far exceeded our expectations as a 3star. I would recommend without hesitation
The pool, the food, good breakfast The wifi available only at the bar and painfully slow when it works. You can use the one in front of the diving center, better and faster, but outside at 42°
We had a great stay it was clean neat and comfortable. They provided info on all the tours and diving etc...Great bar :)
Quiet, clean, well-designed hotel at the right price in the right place. Staff pleasant and helpful, pool and beach-side facilities good. Beach towels provided (though no soap). Decent restaurant. I would have liked a shower by the pool for washing off sea water after snorkelling. Also some soap in the bathroom.
Clean, comfortable rooms that are modern and well kept. Restaurant and bar were great with good food. Pool was nice and never too crowded. If there were any issues, the staff were on top of it asap. Getting info via email after I booked my stay was not the easiest. Had to call eventually to get questions answered.
It had A/C, a pool and a diving centre attached. The bar and food were good quality and reasonably priced. You can hear the TV in reception really loud when you're lying in bed.
Very convenient, nice view, comfortable, great service from English speaking staff. Accomadating when we asked for a very late check out. The shower in our room was very small and when showering, water easily escaped the showering area making for a wet floor. The small refrigerator in our room froze pretty much everything in it. We didn't complain since these things were minor relative to all the pluses.
staff were the most helpful people we have met. They arranged the trip to Mt Sinai and gave advice on avoiding hassles. Very handy in Egypt. no
i liked my stay here a lot! loads of cool people and very pleasent staff. i later found out that read sea relax.. is a bit expensive, but you get good value for your money, cheap bar, good breakfast, pool, and the bathroom facilities are good, and you get free water from the dispensers, saves you some money:)
we loved it. very very very helpful staff on reception...esp Siad (sp)? he went out of his way to help if we needed it...he deserves a promotion. no
Amazingly helpful staff, location, clean and airport pickup was perfect. pool is freezing but they all are this time of year...that's why the sea is there.
The staff were very friendly, breakfast was free, the location in Dahab is perfect and the prices were reasonable.
I liked where the resort was situated, right on the promenade and the water.
Staff were very helpful and it was a very relaxed atmosphere Breakfast choice of food was very limited
I liked the beach, which has nothing to do with the hotel. I disliked everything about the hotel. Including that they misrepresented themselves through your website about the reservation I was to receive. Their gm is also both insulting and intransigent.
I liked the location and thought the facilities were good.
