The staff at the front desk during check out were completely unprofessional. I was double billed for several things; no problem, I went and had breakfast while they sorted it out. I then returned and asked three times total if they need me to allocate funds to my debit account for the WHOLE amount or just the difference of the hold, and I was told just the difference. Each time it was declined, they made me feel terrible, until finally I made it clear that I need to know exactly how much is being charged, and I was able to sort it out.
Staff were great so friendly and professional. the barman Marian makes the best cocktails The atmosphere and decor so
There wasn’t a hand held shower in the bathroom only overhead shower which was very inconvenient. Apart from that everything was great
The bar/lounge where the service was of high standard.
Had to ask 3 times to have some sparkling water sent to the room - not my experience of the service levels expected in a hotel in this price range
We used the valet parking. My husband is disabled and it made things much easier for us. That said it is a lovely area and it is possible to park on the street.
The Dylan is a 'quirky' hotel and is in an excellent location for the Dublin office of my company.
No vegan options for breakfast. I skipped breakfast in the hotel on this visit and went across the road to Sprout. I've had breakfast at the Dylan before and when I asked for tomatoes on toast (no butter because I'm vegan) I received a tomato on a plate and some dry toast. I think the cost was around 12 Euros. There doesn't seem to be an understanding of what veganism is at this hotel, which is strange because Dublin is renowned for its vegan cafes, restaurants and shops.
A stay at Dylan Hotel places you in the heart of Dublin, within a 5-minute drive of Aviva Stadium and Royal Dublin Society. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and express check-in.
