Cons: I didn't rent the car, the company don't allow me because I am only 21..

Cons: Bad pickup process from airport. Very aggressive in pushing excess charges that would double listed cost.

Nothing easy about it/ Rip off
Cons: Went to rental next day because they closed before our flight arrived. Go to the counter and the doubled the price for taxes and other fees. Thankfully we didn't prepay! Went to enterprise instead and ended up being over $20 cheaper anyway and a lot better car

Pros: The car was nice, it was easy to get and to return.
Cons: I was definitely overcharged. It cost me over 200 pounds for one day of rental which is ridiculous!

Expensive surprise at rental car pick up
Pros: The guy who did our pick up was nice
Cons: It ended up costing more than double more than what we actually booked...!

Terrible issue with the car and a low tire
Cons: Poor customer service. No help over the phone. Spent 4 visits to fill the tire in my 3 day holiday and then ended up buying a new tire. Not assisted or compensated by Easirent. Hard sell on the prepaid fuel as well.

Quoted for $80, paid over $500!
Cons: So many hidden fees! To get there low rate, they have to charge the entire value of the car on a credit card, and since we didn't have a $50,000 limit, we paid out the nose. WORST CAR RENTAL EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD!!

Warning fuel up at gas station within 5 miles
Pros: Customer service at pickup exceptional but long sales pitch on extra insurance
Cons: Fueled up full tank ten miles away and was charged $45. If i wasn't late for plane i would have taken care down street and added $1

Easirent Ripped Me Off
Pros: The car was nice, but not equivalent to what I reserved
Cons: The company didn't hold the car for me beyond the time I said we would arrive. I had to rent a different car for over $700 more than what I had originally reserved. They then claimed I had damaged the car when I returned it, and charged me another $350. I wouldn't use this company again. Worst experience renting a car I ever had.

Cons: Pickup: At Glasgow airport I walked all the way to the rental center, only to find out that Eisirent wasn't represented there. Was told by the helpful people that I had to call them to be picked up. Had to find a phone number for the local branch. Was then told to go all the way back and wait at Parking Garage 2. Sat there a long time until thier driver came from the opposite direction and said I was supposed to wait on the park's other side...... When I asked the representative during pickup why all this wasn't detailed in the confirmation email, he said it was Kayak's responsibility, and that Kayak is known to be problematic..... I countered that if Eisirent wants a smooth and welcoming process for its customers, Eisirent itself should send an email regarding pickup, especially since they are aware that Kayak doesn't do it. He had no answer..... No spare tyre in the car. Was told to call them in case of need. Of course, according to Murphy's Law, the next day had a flat tyre.....out of the blue. Called them. Was transferred four times. Waiting + towing + replacing took 4 !!!! hours. With a spare tyre it would have taken 14 minutes.............. Eisirent dropoff point at Edinburgh's airport - poorly signed.

Nightmare from start to finish
Cons: Our flight was two hours late so the car we reserved was gone, and we were told only a luxury SUV was available. The cost quoted when I made the online reservation was $140 USD and we ended up paying Over $500 USD after all of their ridiculous charges were tacked on. When we returned the car they claimed we caused a "bulge" in the tire from hitting a pot hole and charged us $350 USD for it. I will certainly be fighting the charges. This rental company is a scam from start to finish. Please rent elsewhere to avoid the headache of dealing with them.

Cons: The car was fine, but they made me put down a huge deposit on my credit card (or pay an additional insurance fee which I was already covered for my my credit card and which would have doubled the price of the rental)--It felt a little shady. Would go with a more established company next time.

Pros: The car was very good and fuel efficient. The drop off and pick up were very quick and efficient.
Cons: The car I had reserved and expected for $15 per day was not available so had to pay $40 per day for next size up. Felt like it was a "bait and switch"

Cons: Salesman was a fast talker, order was inaccurate, very inflexible since we booked thru kayak. Had to pay insurance twice since they would not accept kayak insurance. claimed my credit cards didnt work and had to use a different card, which was charged insurance and rental. No paper copy of rental provided. Drop off was inconvenient and we wanted to change but office refused to help us, said we had to go online to change drop off. Long wait to get car. Even though we picked up car late, still had to return car at reservation time.

Don't use this company!
Pros: They did not deliver on the car that was promised, substituting a much lower class vehicle. Their GPS, which they charged us for, didn't work, and they would not allow us to use our credit card car rental insurance program. Total bait and switch.

Pros: Car Was Fine
Cons: Required their Insurance and did not accept policy that I had although it i stated no where in any document they could provide me Took 45 minutes to wait for bus then another 90 minutes at pickup to get car Car was flashing needed serviced (oil change I presume) for the entire time I had it

Pros: No part of my experience was enjoyable or even just fine.
Cons: This rental company is the only one not located at GLA. It requires a pick up that does not run regularly, but requires calling the company. I ended up paying more than double what was quoted on my reservation. I felt taken advantage of, and would reccommend using other rental companies that are located within the GLA terminal and which likely have less deceptive practices.

Pros: A very well run company ! Excellent staff ! We had just had a terrible experience in London at Green Motion at Heathrow (AVOID) ! Explanations were clear and no hassles. The staff went out of their way to help us. This is how a Car rental company should operate !!! Will definitely rent from this company again ! David S. Kelsey Montreal, Canada

Easirent left us stranded in Scotland
Cons: Using Easirent was the worst decision we made on our Scotland trip. Upon reserving the car, we opted for the FULL COVERAGE insurance that included tire damage. We were thankful that we paid for this insurance when we ran into some sharp rocks on the side of a winding road on our way to Glasgow. The tire shop we were sent to told us that they were able to fix the tires and the wheel, but Easirent decided they wanted send the car to Aberdeen to get fixed.They seized the car from us and told us we could no longer have the car because the accident was "driver negligence". It was NOT negligence... it was an accident. And we paid to have coverage for ALL accidents. How can you claim to provide your customers with FULL COVERAGE insurance, and then when something happens say that it was "driver negligence" so you have to no longer provide your PAYING CUSTOMER with your services? We were left stranded in a small town somewhere in Northern Scotland with no idea how to get to where we needed to go. How can a rental car company strand two young ladies in the middle of a foreign country? The worst part of all of it was that they ended up charging me the extra cost to fill up the gas tank. It ended up costing me almost $200 for fuel through Easirent. How did they expect me to fill up the tank when they took the car away from us unwillingly? When I FINALLY got a hold of customer service (after almost 3 weeks of waiting for a response), they told me that they cannot reimburse me for that charge. We had to spend at least $200 on extra train tickets and transportation after they left us stranded.. and now they won't even reimburse me for the fuel costs? It's unacceptable.

Cons: We had an issue with the price ending up going well above and beyond what we booked for online. The "insurance" wasn't covered in the online rental and was rather exorbitant. They claimed that legally we needed to have significant coverage and that our credit card insurance wouldn't be sufficient unless we paid the full value of the car upfront (which was 35,000 GBP). Obviously we were unable to do that but didn't want to pay triple the price, so we took our business elsewhere and the insurance was not nearly as expensive.

Cons: Our flight was delayed and after 2 hours they gave our car away once we arrived they really up sell and twist words around. It wasn't till I asked for breakdown of charges I realized they were charging me the full price of the car they gave away along with the new charges for a lot more expensive car not happy. They new we had been traveling and exhausted and they used that to their advantage

Cons: Wouldn't accept the insurance that comes with American Express cards. Didn't have the car that I reserved. I went back to the airport and rented from Enterprise. The person in front of me in line also left without picking up his car. I will never consider Easirent again.

Book through a UK site
Pros: The pick up, all arrangements and drop off back to the airport were all very fast and efficient. Arthritis makes walking painful but there is actually less walking involved than with an on-site rental service, and it is easy to find again when dropping off.
Cons: I had no idea I would need to pay another £50 for collision damage waiver (or, put full value of car on the credit card!) because it had been booked through kayak, a US based company. Apparently the CDW is included in the price with UK companies only (as it was when I used the rental company 2 months ago) - so beware, or rent direct from easirent. I would use the company again, but not, obviously, with the American company. This should be much more prominent in any website.

Worst car rental experience
Pros: Nothing at all except the car
Cons: The people at front desk were rude form beginnging tell all the customers that a van will be picking them up and when ever one of us called to ask where it was they said oh you must of just missed it. Then proceed to tell me that they charge extra for Amex, when I booked it with Amex. Then for insurance they show me some guys lettter that he brought from his insurance that states my Amex covers insurance . Dropped off car with less gas ( my mistake), I asked to refill it I was verybrudeky told no and then told to get off property because he didn't like the tone I used when I asked. Car was inspected before they threatened me. Then get an email that a tire wall was ripped, with a pic of a tire . Charged me an extra 270 pounds. This whole experience is ridiculous and all charges has been stopped by my credit card.

Pros: Easirent agents were friendly and extremely helpful in explaining insurance options, helped us (Americans) get oriented to traffic patterns and customary road signage. Airport pickup was timely, pleasant, and easy to connect with. Dropoff hours are very flexible. Completely hassle-free and a good value. We would repeat this experience again in a heartbeat.
