The Fraser is very well located, just a sidestreet from the Royal Mile opposite St Gile’s Cathedral. Discounted parking is available nearby. The rooms need some updating including the glass in the windows from which a cold draft could be felt. The room heater worked well but was noisy. Beds had good sheets, not so good pillows. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was excellent.

Pros (+) This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Fraser Suites. I love the location right off the Royal Mile and right above Princes Street. Easy access to everything.
Cons (-) The bed was a bit firm and aggravated my sciatica. And the tub was higher than normal or I am short!!!

Cons (-) As nice a time as we had at this hotel, we did have two minor complaints: once, there was some mould in the tile grout in the tub surround and the caulk joint between the surround and the tub itself, which was a blemish on an otherwise great room.
