Pros: Location was very good
Cons: We were given a room (511) (which hadn’t been cleaned there were stains on the bed sheets and dirty towels and bed wasn’t made was disgusting to walk into. (Photos attached) Got no compensation for it at all just put into a different room which wasn’t even nice was dusty and cobwebs everywhere. Pool was dirty too. Was not worth the money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location in Lahinch. Staff so friendly. Reception sorted it so we didn’t need to move between rooms during our 3 nights. House keeping were so kind when I asked for extra tea & milk & a sparkling water - great when you’re confined to the room once the kids fall asleep. The pool was a delight for our son. I availed of the late adult only time to hit the hot tub, steam room & sauna. But the spectacular highlight is the varied buffet breakfast all top quality (including pancake machine) with great coffee.
Cons: No faults!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bar and restaurant were lovely and modern. Food was beautiful.
Cons: Rooms didn’t match the modern decor of reception and restaurant/bar. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night several times with no real explanation as to why.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about Vaughan’s! We felt really welcomed as soon as we walked into the pub. And although our room was quite small it was really cosy for a couple of blustery days in February. If you like fish the food is out of this world, particularly the monkfish with a hazelnut crust! Lovely breakfast with lots of choices including a thoughtful buffet. And not to forget the wonderful staff who made time to talk and gave us great advice on where to visit during our all too short time there.
Cons: Hard to fault. Only thing I’d say is make sure if you’re travelling out of season that you check when the kitchen closes as it’s quite early.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, as it was a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher. The restaurant that is a part of the B & B was fantastic. We ate dinner there and then had the breakfast that was included in the morning. The beds were the most comfortable of the trip and the accommodations were excellent.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice location as a starting point to explore county Clare both the coastal area and the Burren. Specious and clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and delicious. Another advantage is the restaurant down stairs, where one could have dinner after a day of travelling or walking around. Food was delicious and the service was very good, too.
Cons: There is a central heating, not possible to regulate on your own. A bit too hot for us during the night.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central lovely hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, great meal and breakfast, highly recommend.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The only thing I liked was that it was so close to my final destination at the cliffs of moher. The Italian restaurant across the street was really delishous but that doesn’t have anything to do with the Atlantic.
Cons: Everything. The bed was horrible, literally could feel the springs digging into my back, the room looked like something out of a horror movie, super outdated and creepy. The telephone didn’t work so I couldn’t even call reception to ask for a blanket. There is no elevators, so you’re carrying your luggage up narrow flight of stairs. The staff was mediocre, not so pleasant. The room was also dirty, dirt on the bed and hair still on the linens. Not sure if they didn’t wash them or what. Top it off with a bill of $80 euro for what should have been more like $30 or $40 but I guess when you’re the only hotel open around they can charge what they want.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location staff we ok the girl on reception did come across the nicest
Cons: The room was Baltic cold and the bathroom was even colder, a heater was supplied in the room but I didn't want it on all night as might be dangerous For 90 euros with no breakfast it was way too expensive for what I got. Also I booked a twin only got a double only for friend didn't go we'd have had to share a bed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Expensive

Pros: Everything about the hotel was excellent the staff were brilliant and in a great location
Cons: nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Couldn’t be any more central, staff couldn’t have done more although we did have to go next door for breakfast! They should just join the Atlantic hotel and this one into one bigger hotel as they seem to be all the one as it is. We were a group of couples just looking to lay our heads so it was perfect for us. We had dinner one evening and the food was really tasty
Cons: The rooms are a small bit old fashioned
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: There was plenty of parking, it was close to the town centra, we’ll signposted, great by bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. The staff were very helpful and knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: We just would have loved if breakfast continued later than 10am on the Sunday morning because, we’ll, we’d been familiarising ourselves with the local nightlife on the Saturday and a wee lie-in of a Sunday morning is good for the soul.

Sancta Maria Hotel - Lahinch - Bedroom

10.0 Excellent
Cons: Very comfortable and friendly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people, fantastic location, clean, great value for money, couldn't ask for more.
Cons: The breakfast, because I didn't have one because I slept in both mornings! but was still offered tea on leaving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, a 5-minute walk from pubs and restaurants, and shops. Very warm personal welcome by owner, and then helpful staff, both at checkin and breakfast. Good cooking at breakfast, to individuals’ preferences.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s an older hotel with a very pleasant dining room and has a few sitting rooms throughout the property. If you like the older style, you’ll find areas of interest. It’s located in an excellent area, close to the golf course and a short walk from the town center. The town center noise may be a problem during the main season, so this place protects you from that. The front rooms facing the street may cause the light sleeper a problem during heavier traffic. The owner, Thomas is an exceptional, kind person and if you encounter a problem, he will do his best to help. As I said, it is an older hotel, so if you expect it to be completely modern, it’s not for you. We’re glad that we stayed there as it was a calm, clean, relaxing, and you’ll also get to experience Irish hospitality at its best. The breakfast was also very good.
Cons: The room we had was a bit on the smaller side, but it was clean with enough room to hang clothes. The bathroom was miniature, the shower was a challenge, however, it had plenty of hot water.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing, 1970’s decor. Fawlty Towers
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was excellent, good parking area, wholesome breakfast (except the scrambled eggs!). Great staff, always polite and helpful, directions included.
Cons: Dated decor and facilities. The bed especially was not comfortable (out of two beds one was in very poor condition). When we arrived, the room was very cold.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the warm reception by the hostess, Mary. She is so kind, helpful and utterly accommodating. The house is beautiful and cozy, situated within walking distance of the Cliffs. I loved the room, a double room on the first floor with its own bathroom. Very private and comfortable. I slept like a log! Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. I rushed on to get to the Cliffs before incoming rain. Wished I was able to stay a bit longer.
Cons: The only thing I wished for was more time to spend there taking in the love in that home. I enjoyed talking to Mary. It was the best place I stayed at on my 10 day trip to Ireland and Scotland. Mary’s warmth makes her house a home.

7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, good hosts, spacious room. The host were very friendly lovely people.
Cons: I’d say it was a little overpriced. Although the overall room and facilities were clean our daughter picked up nail clippings and some other bits from the floor which could have been missed cleaning. Having said that the linen etc was clean. The owners dogs were very friendly however I didn’t like them hanging around the breakfast tables while eating.

Pros: I was able to check in early which was much appreciated. Good selection of food for breakfast. Hot shower.

(You'll get everything you need for breakfast including eggs:)) But you should go check out yourself!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: How friendly the staff are and how central the hostel is. Also how clean it is. Its spotless! Great spot in Lahinch!
Cons: I love this this hostel but the room was terribly cold. There was a big draft coming from the window so even though there was a heater placed in the room to use, it just didnt heat up at all. Will absolutely stay again but mostly in the summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the generous and warm people around
Cons: The beds are very small. But if you are finding your bed is uncomfortable, then you must not be tired enough meaning you didn’t charge hard enough during the day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice staff and good vibe there everyone is chilled out and it’s really relaxing place to stay
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were lovely. Smack bang in town. Surf across the road.
Cons: The whole place needs a bit of sprucing up. Rooms were alright but carpet on the stairs needs to be in a skip. There was work going on downstairs while we were there so hopefully there are plans to do the rest of it. Could be an excellent place.

7.4 Good
Pros: Peaceful quiet Spa, location, spacious room, very accommodating reception/kitchen staff - my partner cannot eat during certain hours and they offered to change breakfast times for us , bar food high standard
Cons: Beds, sheets/duvet/pillows not comfortable, bar staff need training re service/customer skills, restaurant v expensive, getaway deals advertised in the hotel appear to be orientated towards over 55s.. Hotel could expand and consider targeting groups that might wish to surf in lahinch or young people interested in trad/country. Surrounding are is steeped in trad culture.
