Never got the car, Kayaks terms and conditions stated I’d be charged extra if under the age of 25, Europcar policy is you are charged extra if under the age of 26. I ended up cancelling the rental order as Europcar were wanting to charge me double what I was quoted on kayak. Both should do a better job at ensuring their policies are aligned.Reviewed 7 Oct 2024

Everyone was friendly. It was easy pick up and drop off. It was the second car rental in Germany within two weeks and my other experience with National was NOT good. I will definitely use Europcar again. A consideration would be to have more clarity about insurance. I bought coverage through Expedia, plus I had an additional 75k with my credit card company and I was feeling nervous about that coverage when I really don’t believe I should have. TERRIBLE, I arrived to pick-up the car rental and they told me that it was cancelled days before. I never did cancelled. I paid two taxis for nothing and with the inconvenience of having NO car. My daughter and I exhausted after sooo many hours traveling in two planes from Europe to Ottawa.Reviewed 6 Oct 2024
