I liked that the office is near the train station. There was a long walk to the car, though, and the parking garage was dark and I could not see any damages to the car until after departing. The staff in Granada were efficient and helpful; however, in Sevilla, I was told that I was responsible for 3 scratches/damages, which 100% were there already. But since I purchased the full insurance, I luckily didn’t need to pay. It just doesn’t give me confidence about renting with Europcar again.Reviewed 8 May 2026

These absolute thiefs did not honor my rental reservation from kayak and made me pay $400 extra in order to reserve the car. This is never happened with any other company and I will never use this company again.Reviewed 8 May 2026

It was easy to find and the staff were friendly. The car I got was smaller than advertised (said 4 bags, more like 2 fit) so they tried to upsell me to an electric car of the same model which also didn’t work. They then switched me to another car which was decent but by that time it had been an hour of figuring things out. When I returned the vehicle at the time I left they still charged me for an extra day. Total rip off!Reviewed 29 Apr 2026

I had a VW reservation for about $270. I’m 81 years of age and didn’t realize that by adding 1 day and changing cars I was charged an additional $400 !!! $400 I was taken advantage of. She pulled what we call “a fast one on a senior citizen” I will be sure to tell my thousands of social media connections about Europcar fleecing me if you do not correct this within the next week.
