Overview
Situated in Everglades, Port of the Islands Everglades Adventure Resort is an easy drive from Naples and provides an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. It has a fitness centre, as well as a BBQ/picnic area, a games room and a 24-hour business centre.
The resort has 63 rooms and has been recently refurbished. A ticket service, meeting rooms and laundry facilities are also provided.

Pros (+) The lobby was a great place to hang out, especially at Christmas with their lovely decorations.
Pros (+) Old Florida charm .
Cons (-) Had to unplug a/c unit. Noisy cycling, even when turned off. Had to get up and unplug it. Had to unplug 1 light, missing switch. Someone’s cat, howling in courtyard at 6 am. Had lawn maintenance people outside windows in courtyard at 8 am. So much for sleeping in. No closet. Nowhere to hang clothes .
Pros (+) No closet. Noisy a/c. Quick to repair an issue with a/c which never cycled off high fan speed. Excellent prime rib special.
Pros (+) I only stayed an overnight to run the Everglades Half Marathon. The unit was very cute and in great shape. Maureen "Mo" at the front desk was very friendly, even when I locked myself out at 5:30 in the morning.
