Overview

The Red House is an elegant and distinctive Victorian house overlooking the harbour and the River Fal. It is about 150 metres from the seafront and Gyllyngvase and Castle beaches. A short walk will bring you to the town and harbour. Princess Pavilion is 150 metres away, and has free entertainment on summer evenings. Local transport is widely and easily accessible. Full English breakfast contains organic or local produce where possible, and features homemade jams and marmalade. Special diets can be catered for (with prior notice). At The Red House you can come and go as you please: keys are provided for the guest room and front door. There is a private car park.

Pros (+) Excellent location, 5 min walk (10 at most) from town centre and the beach. Bright and airy rooms with a lovely comfortable bed, fresh milk in the fridge. Welcoming owner that goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Breakfast to die for with the best scrambled egg on earth and a breakfast special every day. Can't wait to return. 9.9/10
