the beauty of the old tiles and lovely painted doors and furniture. Our room was spectacular with 30' ceilings made of cedar wood and stained glass windows looking out onto the gallery that overlooked the pool. It was quiet even though it was in the city centre, perfectly placed for exploration of the Medina. We loved it. The only problem was getting to the hotel. We arived at the train station and no taxi would take us as it was too near for it to be worth their while. Not too near when you arrive with two heavy bags and don't want to drag them half a mile. It was also very hard to find, perhaps I should have got some directions when I made the booking, I just thought taxi drivers would know where it was.

Location was good. However, I've paid much less at other hotels or hostels and had a much better stay. The room and the riad itself was very pretty but the staff barely spoke english, wasn't all that friendly. Overall was a "bleh" experience. it's not worth the money.
