Pros (+) The hotel was in a convenient location for our visit to the area to see family.
Cons (-) We were booked for two nights. When we checked in Friday night I pushed the door to our room open as I inserted the key card -- it wasn't latched right. When we returned to our room on Saturday night, the same thing happened -- housekeeping didn't close the door so the latch would engage, leavin our room unsecured. Pros (+) The greeting from the front desk and their polite response regarding their apologies for their inability to resolve issues beyond their control.
Cons (-) The amount of wall photos in rooms that were tributes to Confederate fallen, None were tributes to Union fallen. The owners and management promote the proudness of their confederate heritage. There is a time and place for everything. Personal life should be separate from business.
