Hotel needs updating.
Great clean place, a bit boring but nice place.
The sushi and steak restaurant was probably the worst meal I’ve ever had, especially when you take into consideration the price. It needs new food providers and chefs. It was all horrible
Awesome property value and nearby attractions! Highly recommended. Free bikes and numerous pools on site!
Nothing perfect stat
I thought all the staff was very helpful.
The property was run down. They are definitely not a "green" property. We had to run the hot water for close to 5 minutes waiting for it to get hot. The hallways were dirty as was our carpet. The carpet was coming apart where it met the tile. They did not have a second roll of toilet paper on hand so had to use kleenex! The hotel was cold so you couldn't sit in the bar or lobby area without your coat. And the worst thing was that we paid for a "premium" lake view. Our "view" was at the bottom of the hotel on the side next to a stairway and walkway where people kept walking past our room. You could see the beach sand and a few feet of water if you stood by the sliding door. When we asked about changing rooms, we were told the hotel was full and nothing else was available.
They were super awesome and understanding
It is a little far off the main area but it also made the stat more relaxing
I enjoyed staying at Westin Lake Las Vegas. The front desk was accommodating, the hotel is beautiful, the food good, and the pool area clean & well maintained.
On a walk outside the property, which was outside the control of the hotel, I encountered 3 coyotes!
They over booked so they down graded my room.
The buffet and it's my favorite resort! :) Super happy!
Great potential but...
Location is great, and the area is beautiful
Things they could control: - Broken elevators (only 1 working for entire wing) - Very expensive for everything Things out of their control - Lake was closed due to storm a couple of days earlier
The grounds and trails. Live music. Lovely views of the lake from my room. Watching the sunrise everyday. Dive in movies at the pool.
Tired rooms and furniture. In desperate need of an update.
The views are gorgeous. Kayaking was great. The pool was nice.
Staff at the poolside dining was an issue. We ordered a dozen wings to share and french fries. They brought us nine wings and forgot the french fries. We let the french fries slide, but told them they only gave us a 9 wings. They brought us 3 more literally. I feel for the mistake they should have given us a whole new basket of the dozen we ordered. On a separate day from a separate staff member we ordered poolside. We gave cash to cover the bill and tip. The waitress came back later and said we did not give enough to cover the bill. We gave her more cash, but my guess is she pocketed the extra cash. I also hate that there are no vending machines. I came in from a wedding late after midnight and wanted something small, like a granola bar. I asked what options there were for food and the only was room service. Really? Nothing small I can eat and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Other annoying thing is that once room service is ordered the 17$ bill goes to 40$. Please me more transparent with all the additional 'fees' for room service. I ended up paying 40$ when I wanted a granola bar.
Likes the location and ambiance.
Wanted to pop popcorn. No microwave unless I paid an extra ten dollars a day for a two hundred dollar a day room. The entrance to the hotel needs light. The handicapped pool entrance doesn't work. Fixed? I doubt it.
