We did not pick up the car. There was a problem with the license because it was in greek and not international. Fair enough but we have sent the license (full copy) to Hertz two weeks before the rental and they reported no problem. At the rental deskWe requested then for the second driver who holds an international license to be the main driver. The reply was no because the car was rent through booking.com and not directly through Hertz. They offered the alternative to rent the car directly through Hertz at a cost of 920 euro (triple the cost of the boking.com / kayak rental). We refused. We had a penalty from booking.com for not hiring the car. In simple words Our holiday was totally ruined. Never againReviewed 9 Jul 2026

Pickup was listed to be at the airport. When I arrived to the airport Hertz counter, they told me the vehicle was not there and had to be picked up at another location. I had to travel to the other location in order to pick the vehicle up.Reviewed 7 Jul 2026
