Overview Reviews
See hotel page Laurent Girard and his team welcome you at the doorstep of Paris, in Antony. The Originals Boutique, Hotel Maison de l'Abbaye, holds an unusual place steeped in history and surrounded by nature. Now a hotel, the building used to be a religious training center and the retirement house of the Marianists, with its chapel remaining now the only trace of its former life.In this peaceful, quiet place, guests here can regenerate and enjoy the comfortable rooms in a spiritual setting like no other.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building and ambiance. Great breakfast available. Convenient location on line B giving direct access to city and both airports. You can join the vespers and prayers in the peaceful chapel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice comfortable room
Cons: We stayed in a quadruple room. First night we had enough towels and water which were not replenished for 3 people for the second night. When you have a quad room, hate to ask for these things to also refill the coffee tray and a 3rd mug!
6.0 Good
Pros: Sleeping was simple but very good. And completely quiet as regards traffic noise, but hectic as regards the action in the corridor or in the neighbouring rooms.
Cons: It was a bit restricted to access the WC/shower, as it was 2 only (M+W) per ca 10 rooms. There was also some shortage of "toilet equipment".
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good, close to RER train station ! Beautiful old charming building in cozy town. Old, but Very Clean and Great helpful staff in the hotel.
Cons: The Room was too small and too plain with dated furniture. Doesn't have a shower, but has a sink
6.0 Good
Pros: The location was very good. Very close to the RER station (Antony). Quite close to Orly airport. Breakfast was good. The hotel is located in a very pleasant mansion.
Cons: Shared bathroom. Honestly speaking I booked a very cheap room (so shared bathroom wasn't a surprise).
7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good, the room very comfortable, and most of the staff were very helpful. I appreciated being given 2 fresh bottles of Evian water every day, and having a nespresso machine in the room!
Cons: The WiFi connection was unreliable and the staff didn’t seem to know what to do to get us back online. My husband helped by suggesting that they unplug the power to the modem- this quickly resolved the problem. Also, it would have been nice to have an iron available to remove the wrinkles in our clothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to Orlyval
Cons: The room looks sad, it would look better to decorate with lively colors
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What I learned in particular through this stay at La Maison de l'Abbaye is that the comfort level, the friendliness of the staff, the intrigue of the surroundings, and the continuing mission of the Marianiste Order makes me want to return time and again, which I certainly will do for my bi-annual visits to Paris. The ease with which one can be transported via ReR to the heart of Paris in twenty minutes, the ambiance of Antony village, the quiet respite after a day in the hustle and bustle in the heart of the city, not to mention the appropriate cost of the accommodations, so distinct from the over inflated price of rooms in Paris city center, all make this an ideal hotel to choose! And I can't believe the added benefit of getting to both Orly or Charles de Gaulle airport with speed and ease - the hotel is a three minute, downhill walk from the trains that run so regularly to both!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Original building
Cons: Na
6.8 Good
Pros: Quiet. Decent low key room. Amazing windows. Lots of church bells close.
Cons: Short hours at reception desk on weekends. I never got an email with the information on the door code and code to get keys, so had to rustle someone up using the emergency telephone number in the door.

2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Booked for 3 nights but had to leave after 2 nights. Even though I usually stay there 4 or more times each year, the receptionist was totally inflexible in refunding me for the last night … using her own initiative was impossible. Bad decision :( . I'll not be booking at this IBIS again
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet, all the staff were very nice and helpful and the little bar/restaurant had few items to offer, but all very good. Just perfect for me,
Cons: My husband was at the Hospital Jacques Cartier, not very far away, 5 minutes by car, but not easily accessible by foot. The taxi between the two places was 20€! It’s really a shame.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: The location was very good with lots of eateries close by, but it's difficult with transportation.
7.0 Good
Pros: Located next to a motorway which is what we required.
Cons: There is limited parking available within the grounds of the hotel. We were lucky to get a space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy hotel, lovely staff and very tasty breakfast. Can not write more as we spend only one day-worth to come back-thank you

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Quite a good location. Very nice lobby and bar. Restaurant looked good (no time to try the food) Good iron. Bed o.k.
Cons: The rooms would need a makeover. The shower-pipe was broken, showering only was possible in squat, otherwise, the water-pressure wasn't high enough. Got wrong information about the walking distance to the castle. A hotel should know distances to important spots of the town.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast between 6h30 and 10h. Very good airconditioning. 5 minutes walk to a RER train. Very child friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: only 5 minutes walking from RER station and hotel staff was very nice. our room was even upgraded from standard double room to superior double room without additional fee. bed and pillows are very comfy! we had very good sleep
Cons: cannot find anything

The 4-star Mercure Paris Orly Rungis Aéroport hotel is located 5 minutes from Orly airport and 15 minutes from central Paris. The hotel is accessible from Orly airport via a free shuttle bus. Generous buffet breakfast with a panoramic view of Paris. Ideal for leisure stays and business trips, the hotel has 28 spacious and renovated meeting rooms. Fitness center, restaurant, private car park and free WIFI are also available.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Near Orly Airport so good for just a stayover for your flight. Just park your car for 10 euro per day and take the 15 min shuttle to the airport and back.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The proximity to the airport
Cons: The fact that the hotel ask to block 50€ per person from a credit card, although we had prepaid the room weeks ago,In case we use extras! No extras in the room, fridge unplugged with just two bottles of water which we didn't use and coffee ,tea sugar and toiletries for only two persons although we had booked a three bedroom room! Ok they released the money on our check out but the whole concept was impolite at least.Ventilation was not working properly which is important when Windows do not open and they should change the sink and bathtub as they were really worn out!
7.5 Good
Pros: Room spacious, light and agreeably decorated
4.0 Okay
Pros: Bed was fine, so was breakfast. Unfortunately not really continental as no eggs etc. mostly bread and pastries.
Cons: Location very bad, public transit into and from the city poor. Even taxi's didn't want to come out on a weekday morning! Staff doesn't speak English. Arranging for a taxi for the next morning at reception took 2 employees, half an hour, and google translate. And then the taxi couldn't even be booked, I got a call just less than 2 hours before I needed the taxi - telling me I should use Uber because staff wasn't able to book me a taxi. Also poor hygiene - mysterious large stains in carpet and hairs of previous guests in bathroom. Bad pillows and airconditioning, but the bed was fine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern interior; comes up to the pictures posted by the property owners
5.8 Okay
Pros: Size of the room and the parking facility
Cons: Room old fashioned and worn out, cold , heating (by airco) did not work, food in restaurant was terrible
6.3 Good
Pros: The lady at check in was very friendly as well as the one from room service
Cons: You can’t open windows- food quality is for the rather high price really bad
Hôtel Alixia - Antony - Bedroom

8.2 Excellent (599 reviews)

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thé space it was clean and quiet. We had a family bedroom and we were 4. It was modern
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was larger than in downtown hotels and quite comfortable. It is a 5-7 minute walk from a Metro station on the Blue Line opening easy access to all of Paris and to both ORLY and CDG, and the price was much better than staying in the core. The staff at reception were friendly, helpful and efficient. It was an excellent base for a short stay in Paris.
Cons: It was not a room with a view, but this was not really our objective. My main complaint would be about the breakfast room. Although the food offered in the buffet style presentation was quite good, the buffet was very poorly attended with many offerings simply NOT renewed at intervals to match the pressure from guests. Unlike many European breakfast rooms, there was no human face generally apparent to ensure that things were working well and thus it felt a little like eating in a barn.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The hotel is good located next to the RER station. Nice and fairly new refurnished.
Cons: It is a nice hotel but doesn’t deserve 4*. The pictures of the rooms are much better than in reality. The rooms are smaller and the cleaning level was disappointing. We didn’t have bathrobes or slippers, only shower gel, shampoo and bar soap. The floors were dirty and we couldn’t stay in the room barefoot, the shower could be cleaned before arrival as there were black mould spots. Overall a nice stay but I wouldn’t go back I’m afraid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always smiling and very cooperative
Cons: Kitchen staff

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Just stayed in the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, nice and comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle which takes 7 minutes to the terminal from 5 am to 11:30 pm. The hotel is in need of some remodeling, but overall nice. The staff were friendly. I stayed before at a different hotel in the area that received a much higher rating but liked the Best Western much better. It is mostly for business.
Cons: The hotel can use some remodeling, the corridors feel dark with poor lighting.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Mattress comfort Coffee in room Fridge
Cons: Repairs, loud banging for hours in afternoon of my stay. At hotel from a 10-hour overnight flight. Expect quiet even daytime. In morning, early, vacuuming corridor carpet. Both business center computers not working and staff not proactive. No iron.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly reception staff, we were upgraded to a better room due to lack of availability of the room we booked. The room was comfortable and clean, housekeeping staff don't speak much English but we were able to communicate.
Cons: Parking should have been free for hotel guests staying in the hotel instead of 10 euros charge per day.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Elevators pretty narrow
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Nothing
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel was close to the Orly airport
Cons: Dirty moldy rag was on pipes in bathroom. Staff was not able to activate the key so we had to keep returning to front desk. Morning staff was rude and unhelpful. Shuttle to airport was 'on a break' so we had to wait 40 minutes.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well laid out breakfast. Staff were friendly. Free upgrade was appreciated.
Cons: Beer very expensive (but France in general i guess). The taxi driver (ordered by reception for me) is a con artist. He took a call whilst i was waiting to pay, kept meter running, pretended that he did not understand that i wanted to pay €27 (fare was actually €25 but i tipped) and he way over charged at €35!! I was in a rush so just payed to get out!! Also the minimum fare was €10 befor getting into the taxi! Rip-off! The journey was only 5km!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: L'hôtel est très bien, pour les séjours de courtes durées. L'hôtel est située près de l'aéroport. Cela nous a permis de profiter de notre dernière soirée. Le service de navette est aussi très bien, car il y a plusieurs dÃ
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and good location
Cons: Value for money
1.0 Poor
Pros: The hotel in general and room in particular were nothing special but at least it was clean. The hotel is close to the Orly airport but don't count on the free shuttle.
Cons: Hotel was listed as having free breakfast when we booked and our confirmation stated the same. However, we were denied breakfast by employees. Free shuttle to the airport could hold no more than 8 and was so overbooked that we had to pay to go to airport.

6.0 Good
Pros: Staff was nice.
Cons: I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights with my family. The room was very small for three people. Some facility is missing in the room like Wardrop, hairdryer, etc. The nearby metro station was under renovation, breakfast was poor.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room has a bed with clean sheet a desk, a TV & private toilet. there is a good space in the room, the bath room is small a little but was ok, has a clean towel but that is all. an only one clothe hanger, a tiny shelving to put your clothes, it seems that this room was designed for students or for very young people, but in my opinion it could have been better
Cons: The room didn't have any thing else to make it comfortable, no comfy chair, not many hanger for clothes, no kettle and/or welcome coffee, no soap or shampoo, nothing that can make this room better, for the price I think they should have added these kind of little things
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is close to the event. Inclusion of free breakfast is really nice, and the food is excellent. We don’t have to worry about ordering breakfast food elsewhere.
Cons: No soap/shampoo in bathroom. But we came prepared and brought our own anyway.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just fine. Clean, cheap, definitely good value for 2 stars hotel.
Cons: Just a few options for breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was nice, cleaned every day. Quiet, close to street with many restaurant and shops.
Cons: Metro station which is close to the hotel - Porte de Choisy was closed so we had to walk a little longer to another metro station - Porte d´Italie, but it is ok.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A bit hard to find due to road works in area
Cons: Room could be bigger , we had 3 bed room, to small .

7.0 Good
Pros: The staffers
Cons: The smell
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything.. especially the breakfast
Cons: Costly
7.0 Good
Pros: Would book again if stranded at ORY. Uncomplicated booking process, everything was as described. Considering the location, a big plus is the swimming pool and the tree in the yard. We could not enjoy it that much in the winter but it was still nice to have at least some view during the breakfast.
Cons: The staircase was messy (see photos). I would expect better from an international hotel chain. Moreover I think that it could get dangerous in case of an evacuation.
5.0 Okay
Pros: the facilities, cleaning
Cons: Having 300 € price for the stay, they blocked 860€ when I checked in.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable room and very near the railway station.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Near to the railway station
Cons: Location and breakfast
6.7 Good
Pros: Good hotel, excellently placed on the RER C line, 10 minutes away from Saint Michel-Notre Dame. Conditions were better than expected.
Cons: Could have used an extra nightstand. The receptionist was not at the reception when we arrived in the evening, but this was sorted through a phone call. The door to the room was left unlocked after the daily cleaning once - thankfully nothing disappeared.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good staff.
Cons: A window has been left a bit opened, hidden by closed curtains... it made the place cold in the morning and with mosquitos. There was a guy who did a lot of noise in the morning, I have been woke up by him. Moreover, the shower temperature changed suddenly. It was way too hot...
6.3 Good
Cons: the price of breakfast is too high because the food type is too less
Trendy Hostel - Ivry-sur-Seine - Bedroom

7.5 Good (1,151 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Trendy Hostel, you'll be centrally located in Ivry-sur-Seine, within a 15-minute drive of AccorHotels Arena and Jardin des Plantes. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: No worry...you can join the hostel when ever you want even after midnight in the cold winter, because you will find the door open with warm reception and smile. Just book your place via booking.com
6.5 Good
Pros: The staff is very kind and are very fun. The hostel is right next to the metro station and if you buy ten tickets at a time it ends up only being 1.40 each way which is much cheaper than paying for a hostel further in the city, so long as you don't mind the extra 10-20 minutes in the metro each way.
Cons: The person who checked my friends and I in tried to buy a good review by giving us "free breakfast". We found the breakfast the next day to be severely disappointing: some toast and jelly and some cereal which had absolutely no flavor at all. DO NOT PAY FOR BREAKFAST. He charges 3.50 but tries to "give you a deal" when you check in for 2.00. There are a lot of scammers in Paris as you will soon discover and this one of them. You can easily walk down the street in the morning and find some nice pastries or buy something at the grocery store for about the same price and much more satisfying.
6.0 Good
Pros: We came to Paris for the Tolkien exhibition at the library and needed a cheap place to stay nearby. It was clean and we felt relatively safe. It was close to the metro (+-3 min).
Cons: Beds were very squeaky. No privacy curtain on the beds. Not a major issue but felt a bit exposed. A small lamp would also have been nice as our neighbours decided to shut off the light without asking while I was reading. The bathroom didn't have hot water.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, cheap breakfast, comfortable lounge area, close to Metro.
Cons: I was accidentally checked out the day I arrived while I was out for the evening. I came back to the room to find my things moved and the bed stripped. The bed was flimsy and uncomfortable. The area is not the nicest part of town, but you get what you pay for.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wifi worked well. Good inexpensive breakfast.
1.0 Poor
Cons: It is the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. We booked 2 beds in a 20 beds dorm room. My wife was attacked by a crazy guy during the second night we stayed there. There was no separation between my wife's bed and that guy's bed, so he could jump on to my wife's bed at 3am, wearing only underwear and screaming like crazy. He hit my wife several times as well. The staff responded quickly and was able to calm him down. For my wife safety, I asked the manager to cancel the next 3 nights and moved to another hotel. The manager was ok with that but never refund me. I have sent many emails to the manager without response. Try to stay away from this hotel as far as you can.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful with questions we had about the city. Breakfast is good!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is super close to the metro, 3min walking, basically. And for me that was the best part. The room have enough space to everybody, also the bathroom. Everything clean and organized. The share part has tables, couches and TV. It was comfortable and cozy.
Cons: I arrived around midnight and my bed didn’t have a plug for charging my phone. I really needed since I was traveling the whole night and was going to be up early. Also, they didn’t have a towel. That’s ok, it’s not their obligation, put it should say when we’re booking. For these 2 problems that I had, the staff was really amazing and trying to help fix any issues. I didn’t have any problems for the rest of my stay.

3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Every thing staff are very rude old toilet old room old mattress room is not cleaned duet very very old and dirty I don’t want to stay in bb hotel again
5.4 Okay
Cons: Clean linen and hot water.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was quite far from the city centre and it was a little difficult to get there from the Charles Airport. It is close to Orly airport and probably more suitable if you are flying to that airport.
Cons: They were not very willing to let us use cutlery and/or plates. I understand that it is a two-star hotel, which implies, that they don't offer every service, but they don't have a restaurant besides the breakfast that they can sell from, so I don't understand why they can't allow guests to use plates and cutlery for their own food.
7.5 Good
Pros: The availability of rooms!: I was able to book a room at the same time of my arrival to Paris. The other hotel, which is 500m far from B&B cancelled my reservation at the moment of my flight, hopefully I found some free rooms. Thanks B&B
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was ready to offer us refund for breakfast
Cons: There was no facility for vegetarian and vegan breakfast. As a result we have to stay without breakfast for three days.
8.3 Excellent

7.5 Good
Pros: The location

6.0 Good
Pros: Staff was nice.

Cons: There was a free bottle of water that was clearly refilled and not new... Weird for a Mercure.
1.0 Poor
Cons: the receptionist was not friendly at all, we arrived almost at midnight and the person who was in charge was so anxious and not helpful at all. the room smelled like cigarette and the breakfast was almost nothing for the price!
7.0 Good
Pros: The canteen in the first floor serves nice food. Free parking available in U2.
Cons: The room service knocked at my door for 5 times. 5 TIMES in the whole morning!! Are you pushing me to go so you can finish your work earlier? But I'm sure I can check out at 12, isn't it?
8.8 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: The restaurant was great with good food. The staff were approachable and willing to help. The room was clean and tidy with good views across the Seine. Hotel is accessible.
Cons: There was the constant smell of tobacco coming through the vent in the toilet. Reported it the first day checked in and again when leaving. Hopefully something will be done. This is unpleasant for non-smokers
7.9 Good

Cons: Breakfast - awful for 22 euros but I guess this is normal in France
9.6 Excellent
